IPad no longer prints to HP Printer

My iPad 4 with iOS 7.1.2 no longer prints to my HP 6510 printer without issue.  It acts like it has connected to the print and sent the job, but the printer never responds. I have tried resetting the printer but to no luck. My Macbook, however, still prints without issue. Any ideas?

I agree, although I use an Epson app to print to my network attached printer as well. As you probably have noticed, I am not an AirPrint "expert."

    iPad stopped printing to an Hp b210 a printer. It worked this morning, I changed all the ink cartridges this afternoon and now it no longer prints to it.
    I shut the printer off as the HP help suggested. My husbands ipad prints to it as well as my laptop.
    I compared the settings on both iPads and they're the same.
    Any suggestions?

    Check the print queue in your iPad, there may be a stuck print job.  Double tap the Home button and select the print app to see what's going on.

    Another inportant thing what recent changes have make to your configuration?
    Have you add any devices to your network?
    What devices did you update around the time the printer stop communicating with the ipad?

    I am glad that you are using an Hp ePrint printer, B210a.
    I would suggest you to check the print center on your iPad and cancel jobs in the print center and then try.
    You can follow the step bleow in order to cancel jobs on the iPad.
    Click on the home key 2times.
    It will bring up the apps you visited and it should also show print center.
    Click on the print center and cancel the first job or all the jobs.
    Then try printing from the iPad.

    Did you make any changes to your system, like a new Wifi router?  Some are not compatible with AirPrint.
    One possibility is that you have a print job stuck in the print queue.  Double click your Home button, and a row of recent Apps will line up along the bottom of the screen.  Scroll across and look for the Print Center.  If it is there, you should be able to delete any stuck print job.

    When you try to print from your iPad what does it say ? Does it find your printer and just not print out or does it say "no air print printers found"?

  • After upgrading my Ipad 1 to iOS 4.3.3 I can no longer print with airprint?

    After I upgraded to iOS 4.3.3 i cannot get airprint to function.  My ipad sees the printer and says it is trying to connect but it never prints.  I have a  HP b210a and I can print by using the email function but I can no longer get it to print from air print.  I have verified that both the printer and the Ipad are up to date.  I have also restarted both and no success.   This seems to have happened when I upgraded to 4.3.3.  Any suggestion?

    Also check the print queue to see if a print job has gotten stuck.  Click the home button twice and you should see recently used programs across the bottom of the screen.  Scroll across to find the print queue.

    Installing the new os may have tricked one of the three devices involved.  If it used to work, it will again.
    Reboot the printer.   Reboot the router.  On the pad, general, reset, reset network connections. 
    Make sure all the devices are on the same wifi network.   Talk nice to it.

    Your printer might need a firmware update

    Turn Off iPad, WiFi router (remove from power), and Printer (remove from power).
    Turn on WiFi router
    Wait 30 seconds
    Turn on printer
    Wait 30 seconds
    Turn on iPad
    Try to print.

  • Can no longer print or scan wirelessly

    Good afternoon!
    I am having a problem that I am having a difficult time solving.  Up until last week, my Macbook Pro w/ OSX 10.10 my computer would print wirelessly to my printer with no problem.  As of about one week ago, the computer no longer will print to the printer. 
    Here's what I've done so far...
    1)  The ink cartridges were low, so I changed them thinking that might be the culprit.  No fix.
    2)  Updated the driver and firmware.  No fix.
    3)  Deleted the printer and added it back again.  No fix.
    4)  Reboot everything.  No fix.
    5)  Repair Disk Permissions and delete/add the printer back again.  No fix.
    What more should I do?  The printer works because I can print from my iPad to the printer with no problem whatsoever.  I'm just baffled why it no longer can receive information from the Macbook.
    Please help!!!

    Hi @srdecarlo , and welcome to the HP Forums!
    I understand you're having issues with your wireless connectivity.  I would like to help!
    I would recommend powering down your computer, and selecting the setup icon on the printer. In the setup menu, select network, and select restore factory defaults. 
    Once the defaults are restored, Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, and unplug the power to your wireless router. After 60 seconds, plug the router back in and let it broadcast. 
    Once it's broadcasting, power on the printer and run the Wireless Setup Wizard in the network menu.
    Once the printer is reconnected to the network, power on the computer and readd the printer.
