IPad no longer sync's over WiFi with latest 8.02

iPad Gen 2, MBPro, iTunes 11.4, OS 8.02.
iTunes will no longer sync over WiFi since upgrading to OS 8.02.
Any ideas?

Yes, but that has nothing to do with the cloud.
It is simply wifi syncing between your computer and iPad over your local wifi network

To sync your iPad over Wifi:
First ensure you're running iTunes 11.0.2. And you already have your iPad up to date, good.
Plug your iPad into the Mac via USB. Click your iPad in the top toolbar (under the search bar). Click the Summary tab if it isn't already selected. Check the box to "Sync with this iPad over Wi-Fi" (you may have to scroll down to see it). And now click the Apply button at the bottom right.
You should be able to unplug your iPad from the Mac and it should still remain in iTunes. (If not, try Quitting and relaunching iTunes and waiting, restarting iPad, etc).
To initiate a sync over Wifi, click your iPad in the toolbar in iTunes then click Sync. Or on your iPad, go to Settings > General > iTunes Wifi Sync and tap "Sync Now."

How do I get my iPhone to sync over wifi with my new hardrive?

I had to replace my hardrive in September. I plugged in my iPhone and it says it's waiting to find the name of my old hardrive before syncing over wifi with it. How do I change the name of the computer my iPhone is looking for to sync with? Or, if it would be better, how do I change the name of my new hardrive to make iPhone happy? Not sure when this has happened but my iPAD no longer Sync's automatically with iTunes/MacBookPro. I've tried flipping between Wifi Sync and USB but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
iTunes identifies that it's connected but I always ahve to sync it manually these days. My iPOD still sync's fine.
All comments and observations welcome.

Sync photos over wifi in os x

I'm using iPhone 5s with IOS 7.0.2 and OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5. When I connect my iPhone to my Macbook using the supplied cable, it automatically syncs all the photos from iPhone to iPhotos. But when I sync the iPhone over wifi with my iTunes, it doesn't sync the photos.
Is there any way to sync photos over wifi?

Please notice that PhotoStream will not sync your videos ... when it will with a usb cable.

Yes, if you are provisioned by your carrier to do so. IF both phones are iphones with IOS 5.0 or higher then you can use imessage.

What's the smallest, coolest phone that syncs reliably over BT with iSync?

I've been using a Treo 600 & 650 for the last several years. I've been very pleased with it, and it syncs reliably to Address Book and iCal. I'm now out of contract with Sprint and can change carriers if I wish. I don't really need the larger PDA phone and would consider something smaller that syncs reliably over BT with iSync?
Any recommendations?

1) Some revisions of motorola phones have a problem over BT so if you have on of these revisions you will have to use USB
2) On Motorola phone, one contact is one phone number (it's Motorola's out-dated database, you can't change it). However, Motorola is aware of this problem so it included a way in the phone's Address Book settings to "coalesce" phone numbers that have the same contact name.

When I turned my 4s on today all of my contacts are gone. They are backed up in iCloud but I don't know how to get them from there to my phone. Aren't they suppossed to sync automatically over wifi? Can someone help?

Check to make sure that Contacts is toggled on to sync by going to Settings > iCloud. Also go to iCloud.com to see if the contacts are showing up there to see if it syncing those contacts.

If it was charging from zero that sounds about right. It takes 5-6 hours to totally charge.

Ipad no longer Syncs with my Imac

Since updating my iPad 1 to software version 5 it will no longer sync with my 18 month old Imac running OS X 10.6.8. It starts trying to sync but after a couple of minutes it tells me that the "Sync session failed to Start". Any ideas.

Syncing of data such as Photo Stream, Calendars and Contacts (as opposed to music) using iTunes has been removed in Mavericks (the framework, SyncServices, which enables this has been removed). You are expected to sync your data using iCloud.

You don't need to access your e-mail account, just get into your Apple account and change the e-mail address. If you can't access your Apple account, then you have a bigger issue to contend with.

ITunes - syncing over WiFi with iOS 7

Ever since upgrading two phones to iOS 7, iTunes is spamming the console with constant disconnects:

etc etc
This goes on for a while, about every 2 minutes, until iTunes hangs.
Originally, I'd set up these phones to sync over WiFi. After switching this off – only for the devices on iOS 7 – the above errors stop ocurring. Again, this doesn't happen with iOS 6 devices.
Running a Mac mini with Mac OS X 10.7.5.
Any ideas beyond switching off WiFi syncing – which is really inconvenient...
