Ipad no response

my ipad 1460 is locked, only the apple symbol appears with the bar, and nothing happens! what can I do?

Is there a possibility that the battery on the iPad is completely drained? If there is any chance the battery is rained, plug the iPad into the charger that came with it. Then plug the charger into a good wall outlet. Wait one hour with the iPad plugged in. It may take that long before the iPad responds. After an hour rest the iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot. If the iPad restarts let it continue to charge until the battery is 100%. If the iPad still does not restart make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

IPad Email response streams in single line

My iPad email responses stream in a single line..forever. Not the normal paragraph format, which I had, and want back. I didn't change settings.Thanks

Hi,
Tap Settings / Mail, Contacts, and Calendars / Preview. Try 2 or 3 or more lines then reseting your iPad.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
See if that makes a difference.

IPad screen response diminished with iOS 7.04

Ever since the iOS 7 update was added, the response time to the touch screen has diminished. Sometimes, the screen seems to freeze for a second before there is a response. Sometimes, I actually check to see if my network is connected.
Deleting emails is the same. Touch the trash can and it used to go immediately. Now, there are times that I hit it a few times to delete the email.
This is very frustrating to the point that I am considering switching to another tablet.
iOS 7 was not ready and apple released it anyway.
Is anyone experiencing this? Does anyone have a solution?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

IPad viewing Response Page

I know nothing about iPads and iOS.
I have published a response page and shared the link with a few folk - some of whom have iPads and report that the Response Page does not render on their devices.
There's no issues for anyone else.
Are there any known issues around this, which I can use to advise my viewers please?

Our response page is rendered in Flash and iOS devices do not support Flash.

I have a e printer and thee printer is on the same wifi net work as the iPad, when I select print from the iPad the response is no printers. I can successfully email from my iPad to the printer. How can I make my iPad recognize the printer?

This printer has worked for me with out fail at my house. I am traveling in an RV and am at the mercy of the RV Wifi. I do not have access to the router. The printer has been recycled a number of times as well as the Ipad. The printer is set up and has access to the wifi. It seems to me that the Ipad and Iphone are not recognizing the connection with the e printer. I was hoping there was some adjustment that could be made to the Ipad and Iphone. I can email to the printer from both gadgets. I will try to recycle the devices again.

Gmail calendar invitations to iPad 2, response gives error message

Were using iOS5 with ipad 2 and our corporate email system is exchange 2010. Connection to email is made with activesync.Whenever you send an calendar invitation from Gmail calendar to outlook, when you try to accept the invitation trough tie ipad's calendar app or mail client, our exchange server gives the following error:
#5505.6.0 M2MCVT.StorageError; storage error in content conversion ##
This does not occur in android or MFE clients.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

Tap the little claendar icon at the top left (next to the search icon) and see what calendars are set up in WeekCal. If none are enabled, then enable the one(s) you want to use.

IPad not responsive after update of iOS 7.1.2

I just downloaded the latest iOS 7.1.2 on my iPad mini, as was recommended by Apple, and it subsequent asked me to connect to iTunes. iTunes then detected that the iPad was in recovery mode and needed to be restored. I do not want to restore this because this will delete my stored data (precious photos etc).
Is there anyway I can fix my iPad without losing my data?

Ios 7 & ipad non-responsive

I installed the ios 7 on my ipad 2 yesterday. I got the message to connect to itunes. I did this and it said I had to restore. I clicked the button but it failed (several times). When I plug the ipad into the computer it doesn't appear in my devices or under "my computer". I cannot access the ipad at all as it permanently shows the connect to itunes display. I tried to connect to itunes on several computers to see if I could get it to work but again it failed. Any suggestions?

Your ipad is in restore mode.
try reseting it to see if it can't get out of it.
have you tried holding the home and power buttons down while it is plugged into the computer?

Safari ipad - Delayed Response from Keyboard when typing in website address

Delays up to 30 seconds only when typing in the address. No delay when typing in the search. Any suggestions please?

That certainly is not right. I get a slight delay at times but I'm talking about a second or two.
Did you reboot? Quit Safari? Quit all apps and restart? Clear Safari?

Quit all apps and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Clear Safari. Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Cache or Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

i upgraded to ios 8 on my iPhone and iPad which both have a common Apple ID.
after up gradation only camera roll got synced from iPhone to iPad.Photo albums which were earlier present in iPad got deleted.
how do I get them back or is there a way to sync photo albums between iPhone and iPad .

I tried to buy a movie on iTunes on my iPad, the response from the store was: "You have already purchased this movie, are you sure you want to buy it again?"

HT4060 My new ipad 4 will not charge with wall adapter.

My new ipad 4 will not charge when I plug it in with wall adapter? It shows the low red battery, the charge sign but also shows the plug in sign. The plug in does not go away.

If the battery has been completely depleted it may take more than an hour before the iPad becomes responsive again. Leave it on the charger overnight. If it does not charge up by the next morning make an appointment at an Apple store to have it looked at.
