Ipad not recognised by computer

I have a Windows 8 laptop and i have the latest version of iTunes loaded. My laptop did recognise my iPod Classic as I used this to transfer my music library from my old laptop. However, something seems to have happened because now when I connect any of my IPod, IPad or IPhone the laptop bings but does not show up in iTunes at all.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolved?

    Hello Mohamed Abdo,
It sounds like you are unable to connect your iPad to the computer because you get this error code when you try. I would use the troubleshooting for these types of errors from the following article:
iOS: Unknown error containing '0xE' when connecting to a Windows PC
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3221
Start with these steps, and there are additional steps in the article if you need them:
    1. Restart your computer.
    2. Install the latest version of iTunes.
    3. Verify that your computer meets the minimum system requirements. iOS devices require the following minimum version of Windows:
    Windows XP Service Pack 3
    Windows Vista
    Windows 7
    Windows 8
    4. Download and install any available software updates from Microsoft.
    5. Connect the device directly to your computer; not to an external USB hub. Find out if your computer has USB 2.0 ports.
    6. Check that the Dock Connector or Lightning Connector on both the device and cable are clean of any lint or other debris. If possible, connect your device using a different Apple 30-pin to USB cable or Apple Lightning Connector to USB cable.
    7. Disconnect other USB peripherals from your computer, with the exception of your keyboard and mouse. After disconnecting these peripherals, restart your computer, connect your device, and open iTunes.
    8. Connect your device to a different USB port on your computer.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,
    Sterling

  • Ipad not recognised in windows 7

I have recently upgraded my computer to Windows 7 but although the computer recognises the iPad iTunes does not.
My iPod is recognised without problem
I have uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it with no change.
    Any suggestions please ?
    Peter

Having removed and reinstalled iTunes I get an error.
"iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. An unknown error occured (0xE8000084)"
As it's an iPad not an iPhone I have no idea why this decive is not reconised by iTunes even though Windows 7 sees it ok.

I think its died can someone please help me try and bring it back to life.

  • Ipod is not recognised by computer, but still charges

I have an Ipod Nano that i have had for a while now and it has been working fine. However, now, when i connect it to the computer, it is not recognised. It continues to charge, but doesn't appear in my computer or itunes.
I have updated my itunes, tried different usb ports, restarted my computer, and done most of what the support section advises, however, it still isn't recognised.
My brother is also having the same problem with his ipod shuffle.
I was just wondering if there is anything else that i could try.
    Thanks

I'm also having this problem with my son's Ipod Nano. It was working fine yesterday. My other son got a Shuffle and we plugged it in and downloaded a bunch of songs. We then went to plug the Nano back in and it doesn't come up in Itunes. It does charge. I've tried multiple USB connections on the PC. I've also gone to the device manager to look at the USB ports. The Shuffle shows up as Mass Storage Device, but when I plug in the Nano, nothing pops up. I've also tried my Nano USB connection to make sure nothing is wrong with his. No luck. Can anyone help?

  • Ipod shuffle not recognised by computer after update to iTunes 7

I have just updated to iTunes 7 and now my computer will not recognise my iPod Shuffle. ("Periferique USB inconnu" - unknown USB peripheral in English.)
I have tried to reset it but until it appears in either the iTunes source window or in Windows explorer there is nothing more I can do.
Another problem is that when I try to run the iPod updater 2006-1-10 it tells me that I have the incorrect version of iPod service amd then aborts.
Finally I have misplaced my iPod installation disk so I cannot try reinstalling it.
Can anyone out there help me???

Unsolved till yet. I´ve read all the other threads touching this theme, but nothing substantial. No solution. No comments of Apple.
I´ve take a look into the files with Wordpad and I can see the lyrics inside the files. But, again, with the iPod nothing except the title.

  • Ipad not recognised by windows 7

I have followed the instructions around windows 7 not recognising my ipad and it has led me here.
It was recognised the first time I connected, but not since.
The only thing I'm not sure about is conflicting programs that may have an affect. I am with Virginmedia and use their in house security program.
    Any help would be useful

  • Ipod not recognised on computer, lost everything downloaded.

My Ipod screen tells me it is connected, Eject before disconnecting. I could not do this as there was no device recognised on the itunes store window. I had downloaded lots of podcasts, and wanted to syncronise them. After reading all the support pages, I deleted Itunes off my compter and all apple related files. I then downloaded the lastest version, and now have nothing on my computer.
I diagnosed that the computer was not recognising my device. I am not that computer literate, I suppose I am a silver surfer, and have no grandchildren to help. PLease advise what I can do to restore my Ipod and would like to be able to retreave all my podcasts that were downloaded onto the computer, and syncronise them onto my ipod.

Actually, you're meant to play anything off of it, as well as add and remove songs to/from it, through iTunes.

  • ICC Profiles:  Does the iPad not recognise them?

Is the iPad not colour aware in the sense that it recognises and uses ICC profiles embedded in images?
Secondly, it's a great shame the display can not be calibrated. So much for portfolio display or any work that is colour sensitive.

I.didn't say anything about editing. The photo app is Apple app for displaying photos.
Somebody needs to write and app to calibrate the monitor. The problem with this is third party apps can't run in the background. So Apple would have to make it a system preference. They would be the one to make this happen.
You could write a feedback to Apple requesting this feature:
