Ipad not streaming music

My iPad no longer streams music. When I visit a streaming radio station and click the "listen" link, it opens a blamk page in the web browser. Then nothing happens, for as long as I care to wait.

This is the radio station for my university. It's a known, and used to work reliably. There's an interview in a couple of hours I need to listen to, but first I have to resolve thisnissue.

No, at this point in time, it is not possible to stream from your iPad to an AX.
However, it is possible to stream from an iTunes host to the iPad. (ref: Airfoil Speakers Touch)

Iphone 4 will not stream music in 3g

My Iphone 4 will not stream music on 3g. It will connect to pandora, Iheart, or some local radio stations play for a min, stop, then buffer or just quit playing. This is a problem that started about a week ago. Prior to this week, worked fine all day long. WIFI is not available in this location, so that is not an option.

A couple of last things come to mind as I think this through. I know the screen shots I'm going to provide are in Windows, but it should be quite similar. On the Summary screen under options, there is a box for sync only checked music, not sure if you have that checked.
And then on the Music tab, how you have music checked.
I cannot think of anything else after that.

Not streaming music, video, etc

My iPad won't stream music, or play videos from YouTube, I player etc. I actually have a work ipad too, which will stream content and have compared settings but cannot see anything different between the two iPads. Ay suggestions?

I do extensive Photoshop and InDesign work with my 2011 MacBook Air. In terms of performance it is more than capable. I've not yet run the new Adobe CC software (and probably won't unless work subscribes for me) but the latest Adobe CS runs well. A 13" display makes things a bit cramped but since I work mostly at my desk, a 22" LG display solved that problem.
I'm not impressed by the rMBP computers - I consider them a gimmick. The display pushes a huge number of pixels and even the discrete video card is barely up to the task. In my testing there were times graphic redraws felt very sluggish compared to the new 2012 MBA. Also because Apple hasn't yet implemented a resolution independent GUI, I'm not comfortable using it for text intensive purposes.
In terms of doing what you want, either machine will do the job and should last through college. But due to the huge display the rMBP and MBA are hard to compare in terms of CPU speed etc because they are such different animals. I strongly suggest you find a place and time to use both and find which fits your needs best.

ICloud not streaming music to iPhone 4s

For some reason, my iPhone 4s will not stream songs directly from the cloud. Instead, it will attempt to download every song any time I attempt to play one...emphasis on the word attempt. Most of the time, the song won't play at all. Other times, it will hitch or lag in playing or play but there will be no sound. And, even more fantastic, sometimes it will just stop everything and return to the home screen.
My MacBook Pro has the latest version of Lion and has iCloud and iMatch and my phone has the latter as well. I don't know what to do and I'm not tech savvy so please help if possible.
I should note that when looking at the music on my phone, there is an "open" cloud next to each artist and album. But with every song, there is a cloud with adownload arrow inside.

At the present time when you "stream" stongs from iTunes Match the songs are downloaded to your device (this is supposed to change later this fall with iOS 6). Not sure why you're having trouble streaming/downloading and playing your songs. Also, it's normal to see an "open cloud" next to albums. If you tap the album you can download individual songs, or if you want to download all the songs in the album scroll to the bottom of the list and tap Download All.

I can not stream music

I have been a faithful apple customer but am very upset at the moment. After years of haveing a reliable apple tv now I can no longer under any circumstances stream music. I try and it just reboots. Try again and it just reboots. This is the case from Imac to appletv via home sharing, the music app on apple tv, and itunes radio. Please fix this issue.

Working just fine on my system as well as the majority, there's been an issue on your system as a result of something that's been corrupted. If a restore doesn't work then take it in to be assessed.

Suddenly I do not could reach my Time Capsule...??? I can surf on net, but I could not stream music with Airplay and my Time Machine could not either take back up!? What is wrong?

Any other network devices.
Computers and clients.
Everything needs a couple of minutes to get running before you start up the next part.
If it doesn't fix it.. we need a whole lot more info.
What Modem? Is it a router?
How is the TC setup? How is it connected to the modem?
What are you using for airplay?
We need full details on every part of the network.. otherwise we have no way to help.

My Airport Express will not stream music to my remote speakers through the laptop (windows Vista), gives error code -15000. Works fine from my IPAD and Ipod. Any thoughts, suggestions?

Itunes is throwing a -15000 error code on my Windows vista. Ipad and Ipod work great for streaming to remote speakers, trying to use the computer and it throws the error code.
Any thoughts? I've rebooted the laptop, modem, and AE, even plugged in the laptop recommended by other users, still nothing.

Using my iPad to stream music.... Bluetooth or airport express

I have a nice hifi system and use it for listening to cd's when I want to listen and also stream from my iPad when I want background music and to run play lists etc.
Can't do away with my cd's as I want audiofile quality for serious listening and as my iPad is near full... I can't load all my CDs etc in apple lossless format, I haven't got the space left.
So, to my question on streaming to my hifi system.
I do it through an airport express and connect to my amp with the airport express jack output via a mini jack to RCA cable.
Now, I'm looking at getting a dacmagic digital to analogue converter.
So, I can take the digital signal from my cd and improve quality... So far so good.
I then realised I could use the mini jack on airport express with a mini optical toslink cable (the output is both a mini jack and mini optical digital output),
to take the digital signal directly to the Dac.
Then I hear the dac also comes with its own bluetooth adapter so I could stream directly to the Dac From my iPad with Bluetooth.
My question is.... Which will give me the best quality from my iPad...
With Bluetooth or airport express digital optical signal.
If anyone can give me the pros and cons of each I would appreciate it.

I finally figured it out! I needed to extend my my network using my Verizon Wireless network but then under the Music icon on the Airport Utility, I selected Enable Airplay and selected an iTunes speaker name that is the same as the name chosen for my Airport Express name. This way, I can connect to my wireless network which the Airport Express is extending, but select my Airport Express as the speaker. Woohoo!

Ipad not streaming iphoto

my Ipad2 has stopped photo streaming. The iphone and apple tv are still doing it and everything has the same settings....

You don't need to stream the photos if you want to import them. Connect the iPad to your Mac with the cable and launch iPhoto. The iPad should appear in the sidebar Unser the devices heading. Click on the iPad name and then the camera roll album should appear in the window on the right.
I assume that this will work with your version of iPhoto since you are just importing the photos. You can also use Image Capture to import the photos the same way as with iPhoto.

I get a list of all the tracks from all the albums, classified alpgabetically
Its pretty messy this way

Airport Express dropping connections while streaming music

Airport Express once conected to my existing wifi network is not streaming music correctly, instead is dropping without a continuous play.
Green light is always on.
Please help

And your reminder of the channels got it fixed. Being out in the country my internet is provided wirelessly (WISP) and I remembered after your comment that the tech who installed our receiver dish said that the internet is being broadcast on the 2.5 ghz band on channel 7 and if any issues arise change the channel to a lower number. Never had an issue till now and updated the channel to 1 and back in business. A big thanks.

IPad 2 can stream music but not movie to Apple TV

Just purchased my iPad 2 recently (love it) and have now installed a new Apple TV unit. Am able to stream music from iPad iTunes to the tv but cannot find the AirPlay pointer for the movie I purchased.

I have iPhone 4 with latest software update and an Apple TV (the one with the HDD) and when I have iTunes open on my iPhone and I chose the icon on the bottom right side of the screen (AirPlay) Apple TV does not show up as one of the choices.
I just did a 'reset' on the Apple TV and it didn't help.
On my iTunes here on my iMac I can see the choice to stream to the Apple TV.
Is anyone else having this problem?

Your 4th gen iPad does have the necessary software to connect to the AirPort Express but not to administer it. To do the later, you would need to install the AirPort Utility applet.
You said that your iPad can "see" the AirPort's wireless network, but can't connect. What happens exactly when you attempt to do so? Do any of your other wireless devices have any trouble connecting to the Express? Did you configure the Express for a closed network ... that is, not to broadcast its Network Name?

No, not directly.. but to get the movies onto your iPad you need to sync them on there from your computer running iTunes.. you can likewise sync those same movies from your computer running iTunes to the appleTV..
i create a playlist of all the videos on my iPad (mostly for kids movies they are interested in right now).. so to put those same movies on my appleTV i would just define the sync to appleTV to include that playlist..
