There is no Info tab and you need to sync contacts & calendars via iCloud.

I must apologize as I misread your post. I though that you were talking about Safari bookmarks but you post does clearly state iBooks bookmarks.
You may want to just try restarting both devices and see if that helps. One other thing that you could try is quit iBooks on both devices and then launch it again and see if the bookmarks are synced when you relaunch.

Same with me. It used to be that Books would sync with my iPhone, but it seems that since IOS 5 came out they don't sync any more. Everything else syncs fine through iCloud; iPhone 4s & IPad 2.

Calendar On Ipad not Syncing to Iphone Icloud

Hi I recently had an i pad mini for christmas.
When i tried to sync my calendar from my iphone, only certain events from the past few weeks would sync not all of the year.
I have gone into settings and made sure that i have the option for everything to be synced and have identical settings on both devices.
I have also noticed that when i try and add an event on my i pad not only does it not sync but sometimes it doesent show up at all not even on the ipad i just created the event on.
I would also like to point out that every event i create on my iphone shows up on icloud but does not always show up on i pad

Please make sure that you create new events in an iCloud calendar (open the event and check field calendar) and not in local calendar or in a calendar from another service that you also set up on one of your devices.
If you would like to see all the events of the year, then please make sure that you choose the option in "Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > (section Calendar) > Sync > All Events".

I am experiencing issues with both my iPhone 5s and my iPad. Many of my apps and music that is on my iPad are not syncing with my iPhone. I've backed up my info on my iPad and still having issues! Help!!!

I have the new 4s. IMac has Lion. All hve IOS5. My iPhone and iMac properly sync on iCloud. However, my iPad is NOT syncing????

You don't sync to iCloud you backup to it. I dont like that terminology - syncing to the cloud. What iCloud does is that it seamlessly works in the background to store all of your music, apps and data - calendars, reminders and such. If you log into iCloud.com you do not see your apps or music purchases. There is no apps folder or music folder visible in your cloud account. iCloud stores them and will download to all of you iDevices as long as you have automatic downloads enabled on the device. You still sync with iTunes, not iCloud.
How do you know that the iPad is not backing up to iCloud? What do you not see that you expect to see? As a test - If you add a contact on the iPad and then log into iCloud.com do you not see the new contact? Have you enabled automatic downloads on the iPad and it is not working?

Ipad not Syncing with iTunes

I am having increasing problems with getting my iPad to Sync with Itunes on my 17" MacBook Pro. Both Mac OS and iTunes up to date with latest software as is the iPad. The trouble started a couple of months ago with some apps failing to sync. I deleted them from the iPad and then it was ok for a while, however this has repeated itself with an increasing frequency.
Today, whenever I connect my iPad to Itunes it will not sync. It starts with the message "Waiting to Sync" then after a while briefly displays Cancelling Sync and then stops. If I try and move from the Summary tab in iTunes to the Apps tab I get the spinning ball of death and iTunes hangs until I either Force Quit or unplug the iPad.
Interestingly there is no problem when I connect my wifes iPad to my Macbook Pro. However I have the same problem when I try to connect to iTunes on her MacAir.
I have reset my iPad's settings. I have restarted my Mac and iPad numerous times. I have deleted all the iPad backup files on iTunes and done just about everything I can find with respect to things even remotely similar from the web or discussion boards. Logically I have to assume it is something on my iPad however everything else is working fine - or so it seems.
Anybody else out there with this or a similar problem or any suggestions???

I want to start off by saying the latest update is the worst piece of software I have ever tried downloading onto my computer. After three unsuccesful updates directly from Itunes I downloaded it to file and then installed three times before it succesfully installed. At this point Itunes would freeze when trying to recognize my Ipad, Ive reinstalled twice more including individual installs of Quicktime and Itunes and NOTHING is making this worthless software work. I am not impressed at all Apple, as a matter of fact I'm tempted to NEVER buy another Apple product again because of how poor this latest update is. but whatever, some help would be nice.

I have a couple of iTunes U courses on my iPad (downloaded using my iPad) which I couldn't transfer to my iTunes library during normal sync. The iTunes ID I used for downloading is the same iTunes ID that is authorized on my Mac mini iTunes.

IPad not syncing after Snow Leopard upgrade

After upgrade to Snow Leopard, new iPad will not sync with with usb cable in iTunes. Latest version of iTunes, restarted iPad, restarted computer, checked usb cable and nothing.

Did you follow all of the Software updates all the way to SL 10.6.8? The same thing happened to me when I updated to SL until I updated all the way to 10.6.8.

IPad not syncing iWorks - using Mountain Lion

All iWorks pgm syncs fine from iPad to iCloud and the other way. After a while iPad will not sync Keynote, Numbers, Pages and has to be turned off and on again Frustrating.

All I can think of is that there's not a driver for the iPad yet. I even looked on microsoft's site, and all I could find was that there were some driver issues last year with Win 8 (although I've been running win 8 since last summer and haven't had any syncing issues)
You've updated iTunes, reset iTunes, reset your iPad, swapped out cables, swapped out ports, removed the driver.
The only other diagnostic thing I can think of is if you have someone else with an iPad, to try and sync theirs (don't really sync, just connect it)
If hte computer sees theirs and not yours then there's something wrong with your iPad. If it doesn't see another iPad then it's something wrong with the computer.
It's that or the version of iTunes for windows has issues with Win 8.1. iTunes is only listed to be compatible with Win 8, so maybe the .1 is flummoxing it.

If you have POP account they never will sync. If you have IMAP, they may start syncing if and when folder they in, is located on the server. In order to make those sync and for troubleshooting you may want to contact your email provider. Since I don't know what your email is - that is the best I can do.

Help getting Pages to iBook on an iPad not synced with my computer.

I have my students creating book reports using iWorks Pages. We will then export them to epubs and place in iBook. All is working well. My question is my principal wants the iBooks on her iPad that is not synced with my computers. How can I get these iBooks or epub documents onto her iPad without syncing it to my computers?

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

If I do a calendar or notes entry on my iphone, it appears on my iPad but since having my iphone 5, entries made on my iPad are not syncing to my iphone. I've checked all the settings and am stumped. Any suggestions please?

Check how many Calendars you have (open calendar and tap on calendars button on the up left corner).
Also check the default calendar account (settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>scroll to calendars section)
Same for Notes.

My contacts and calenders on my IPAD not syncing with my IMAC

My contacts, mail and calenders on my IPAD are not syncing with my IMAC properly. My IPhone seems to sync with IPAD okay.
Also, on my IPhone I have subfolders for a second email account, but on my IPAD and IMAC I can only access subfolders from one email account.
Please help

For Mail in order to have subfolders the email account must be an IMAP account. Check on the iPad in Settings > Mail, Contacts and Calendars > the email account in question to make sure the correct account type is selected.
If your ad is not syncing your Contacts and Calendars to the other devices go to Settings and make sure iCloud is on and you're signed in to the same iCloud account as on your other devices. Then make sure that Contacts and Calendar syncing is turned on.
