Ipad notification

Hello, I'm having trouble with 2 apps of ipad. Facebook and skype aren't showing the notifications but others apps are. what can it be? is it a problem of ipad? =) w8 for answer

Go to Settings > Notifications, scroll all the way down and make sure Facebook and Skype are "In Notification Center." If so, check their settings by tapping on them. For more info, see here.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

IPad notification volume controls

I got an iPad notification that was too loud (my volume was up higher than normal due to a YouTube video that was too quiet) so when the screen came on I tried to turn it down to the normal volume but there was no volume indicator on the screen so I could not tell which level it was at; I had to swipe to unlock then hit the volume button to see the indicator (usually I keep it at 3).
Is there some way to fix this or notify Apple of the issue to get this improved? I'm impressed with many things on the iPad but I'm not sure why I can't see the volume indicator on the notification screen.

IPad notification pull-down doesn't respond to tapping notification

Whenever I turn on my iPad and pull down the bar to check notifications, I tap the notification and nothing happens. I have to tap it again to make it work. It seems it isn't responsive until like a second after the bar is done bouncing at the bottom; I have to just sit and wait rather than just tapping the notification once the bar hits the bottom or even before (like Android). It's not clear when I can actually tap the notification. Can't this be changed?

Nobody else has this problem? It's frustrating tapping the notification and nothing happens then having to tap it again or wait the exact unspecified amount of time required for it to be ready for you. This seems like babying the user to the point where it's annoying.

Since the update of iOS 8, iPad (4th generation) face time displays a notification, howeve, there is none. I have rebooted but the notification remains. I hope someone can help. thanks!

How do I get a stock ticker in notification center on the iPad?

May be possible that after dveloping that they find that not to include it with the product rather left with the users to download it by themselves

I upgraded to iOS5 yesterday on both my iPhone 4 and iPad 1. On both devices, the same things are happening when I look in the notification center:
Sometimes the calendar shows up and sometimes not
The calendar jumps around as though it is trying to disappear
All appointments (my calendar and my wife's) are showing up even though I only have my calendar visible in the normal calendar view.
Another issue: and iMessage is a bit slow and has crashed a couple of times.

You cannot change it. If you're delivering video on web, your viewers can see any url, even if you embed it like Google. Even if they have the URL, you should have some sort of authentication. Are you saying you have no Authentication on these urls that determines if a viewer can see the video or not?

IPad notifications do not turn off

I keep receiving email notifications although i have switched it off. I've restarted the iPad (iPad3), turned the notifications on and off several time, still receiving. The same happened for another app (Bloomberg) so I had to uninstall it.
Anyone know's how to solve this? Thx

Yes it makes sense. Try a reset and see if that fixes it. You can try shutting down after it starts up again, if this works successfully that is.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Stock app that will work on iPad notification area

Developers, please develop an app for a stock list that will work in the notification area of IOS7.
Apple supplied such an app for the iPhone, but there is no such app for the iPad.

Netflix does in fact have the old version of their app available.
In iTunes on your computer, download the App you want a compatible version for using the same Apple Id that the iPad has for the App Store. For Paid Apps its best to consult with the App maker to make sure there is a compatible App. With the App Downloaded to iTunes on a computer you can go into The App Store App on your iPad, Tap on Purchased, and Look for the App there. Tap on it to begin the download. It will likely say its not compatible, but if there is a compatible version it will offer to download it. Install the latest compatible version of an app on an earlier version of iOS or OS X

Swipe down ipad notification bar has vanished

I used to be able to swipe down from the top of the screen to see a dark grey screen that said 'today' 'tomorrow' etc, the weather, and listed messages I had, but i haven't been able to access it for the past week or so. Recently, when I try to swipe down I get a keyboard and 'search ipad' toolbar.
I haven't installed any updates so I don't know why it has happened. Has anyone has a similar problem/have a solution?

You have to swipe down all the way form the top of the iPad. When you swipe down from lower on the screen, you get the Spotlight Search feature.
