IPad only partially syncs with iTunes
I'm so fed up with dealing with iTunes Support... They are more than useless - it would help if they could actually understand my problem, but they dont seem to have a grasp of the english language, let alone have any ability to assist me with my issue.
Okay, so here I am, begging for help as this is now the 4th week that my iPad hasnt been functioning!!
I purchased a couple of TV series on the iPad (along with applications). When I sync the iPad with my iTunes account, the applications migrate over with no issues. However, when I try and sync the TV Series, it tells me they werent bought using the same account as my iTunes account, so wants to erase the programs before syncing with iTunes.
When the iPad is plugged into iTunes, you can right click on the TV Series stored on the iPad - it clearly states under the 'get info' that the shows were bought with the same account (funny that!)
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does anyone have any bright ideas? Apple support clearly doesnt and I'm really starting to get fed up with their imbecilic responses!

My ipad won't sync with itunes, can anyone help
My ipod tpuch and ipad won't sync with itunes even though they are recognised by my comuter. i have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes but still won't sync. How can i get my equipment to sync with itunes?
It has been shown there are problems with the latest update of iTunes and Windows computers. What you need to do is remove and reinstall iTunes, and make sure that you follow the steps in this support document exactly. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923. If you do not follow them exactly, you will just compound your problems. Once you do this, you should have no trouble having the phone recognized in iTunes.

TS1363 My iPad won't sync with iTunes because it doesn't recognise apps.
My iPad can't sync with iTunes because apparently my iTunes doesn't recognise my apps! I've had the iPad for 9 months and have been syncing regularly so am not sure why it's decided there's a problem.

My new iPad will not sync with itunes. itunes is updated to latest version. Do I need to uninstall itunes and reinstall?
That could be a solution. Are you getting any error messages or error codes? Is the iPad recognized in iTunes? Does anything happen at all when you try to Sync? Can you provide more details?
You can try a very simple first step, quit iTunes, reboot your PC and restart the iPad. -
My new ipad will not sync with itunes. the device does not show up in itunes
my new ipad will not sync with itunes. the device does not show up in itunes. I am on a Windows system
Do you have the absolute latest version of iTunes downloaded? If your iTunes software has not been updated in some time, your iPad will not be recognized. With iTunes open, click on Store at the top. Check for available downloads and if there are any, download them. Once you've verified you have the latest software, connect your device again, and it should be recognized.

MacBook pro won't shut down only after sync with iTunes?
MacBook pro stays on blue screen with spinning gear when I try to shut down only if I have synced either an iPhone or iPad with iTunes. If i have not synced with iTunes the shut is ok.
Any suggestions would be great :)I had the same problem and just fixed it.
What I did:
- Launch Disk Utility > Select Macintosh HD > Verify Disk
Let the Verify run until it's done
- If you are seeing any error try the Repair disk
It's possible you need to restart (holding cmd+r while restarting)
- Next I did a verify disk permissions and a repair disk permissions
- reboot
After this the shutdown issue was gone!
Hope this solves your problem as well. -
IPad will not sync with iTunes/DL from iTunes Match
I have just purchased an iPad with retina display and it will not allow me to download tv shows or music which i have on my itunes, either by syncing on itunes via my Mac or by using itunes match. It has however allowed me to purchase Pages and has no problem with getting previously saved documents from icloud.
I checked all settings are correct but it still wont allow me to sync. It has become very frustrating. I also downloaded the Ipad Metro app but that seems to have disappeared from the screen but will open in the app store.
Would peple recommend resetting the ipad and starting over or is there a less drastic option?iTunes Match is for music only, not TV Shows or Movies. iTunes in the cloud lets you download previously purchased content to your iDevice. As long as you use the same ID that you bought the content wih, you should be able to download that content again in the purchased tab of iTunes.
If you are using iTunes Match on the iPad, I think that you have to turn it off in order to sync with iTunes on your computer.

As for the app that is not appearing on the iPad, open it from the App Store and then close it in the recents tray. Reboot the iPad and see if it appears on the device. I assume that you have swiped from screen to screen to look for it already.
Tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

Error 13, 14, 35 and 50 (or -50)
These errors are typically resolved by performing one or more of the steps listed below:
Perform http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1286, including trying a different USB port directly on the computer. See the advanced steps below for USB troubleshooting.
Put a USB 2.0 hub between the device and the computer.
Try a different USB 30-pin dock-connector cable.
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3125.
There may be third-party software installed that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting one or more TcpWindowSize entries into your registry. Your default packet size being set incorrectly can cause this error. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet-size modification for assistance. Or, follow this article by Microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299357 to reset the packet size back to the default for Windows.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, bypassing any routers, hubs, or switches. You may need to restart your computer and modem to get online.
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.

My iPad has stopped syncing with iTunes on my home computer which has windows 8 Can anyone help
I Have windows 8 on my desktop computer with iTunes.
REcently all of my apple products are not opening up with itunes. but instead open in my desktop which does not allow me to sync with iTune.
Can anyone help with this problem please
andrewHello, AndrewR2.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I would need clarification on this issue to provide a better answer. However, it sounds like your computer may not recognize your iOS devices I would recommend manually installing the Apple Mobile Device driver as outlined in the article below. Start with the section labeled Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed > Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 > If the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is not listed > Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8.

IPad will not sync with iTunes in Windows
My ipad will no longer sync with iTunes (iOS5 was downloaded). iTunes shows my iPad as having content and I can sync, but when I disconnect iPad, nothing appears on my iPad. If I set up as a new iPad, can I still then access everything I have in iTunes?
You should, yes. The iTUnes content is governed by the apple id, not the device(s). I had my iPad die on me and got a new one and just set it up as a backup and it sync'd all my old apps and my new one looked exactly like my old one.
So I believe if you set it up as a new one, you will have to put everything back on the ipad, but your apps will still be there in iTunes. -
