For instance, a ruling from the Canada Revenue Agency about how a software sale would have to be accounted for buy Apple and how it would affect corporate taxes would not be an explicit law and would explain why no one can provide a pointer to such a law since such a ruling would likely be an internal procedural matter and hence not published in any easily-accessible venue. That's sort of what little information has come out is pointing to, but again I don't know for sure.. Apple clearly feels they have reasons for the policy, though; if it were just being difficult, they'd have the same policy everywhere, so something in Canadian law, tax regulations, etc. is driving it. But to us end users, the reason really doesn't matter.
They could at least they refund the money for customers who were expecting to buy apps..
I would agree that if the restriction isn't printed on the gift card itself or otherwise made clear at the point of purchase, a refund would be in order. But Apple doesn't ask my opinion, and since they put the restriction in the iTunes Store terms of sale (to which we all technically agree when we create our accounts, though few people ever read the agreement), I think such a refund is highly unlikely.

Changed credit card in the payment information now can't purchase anything. The new credit card i use all the time for online purchases but can't buy anything on iTunes.

My iPad mini will not turn on for some reason.

I have my iPad mini, and for some reason it will not turn on. Earlier this morning it was on and working just fine, and then when I got it to get on it and play some games, it was not responding and the screen was just blank. I have no idea why it is doing this, so I would like to have some answers, because in class we need it sometimes, aka algebra. (It is my own personal iPad, not the schools)

What have you tried ?
Assuming that the battery isn't empty (it can take about 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), then have you tried a soft-reset to see if that gets it to boot up ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

We installed 11.1.2 Hyperion WorkforcePlanning on Linux 32 bit OS.
When the user opens the workspace and tries to see the "Profit and Loss" and selects
"File --> Open In --> PDF format" , it just flicks for a sec and gives following message :
" PDF has not been configured for this web server"
Can somebody suggest me what to do ?

Do you have one, two or more entries in the left colum of Mail.app for your mail server(s)? That is, do you have your Mail.app set up with either a btinternet entry, with a btyahoo entry, or both? Or more?
I'm guessing that you might have one account (btyahoo?) listed for incoming (IMAP server) mail, and with the outbound (SMTP server) mail is configured and named btinternet.
Based on what little I see posted, it looks like BT uses both btinternet and btyahoo, but I'm not exactly clear on how they have their stuff set up, and their web set gets helpful and tries to help configure my mail — I don't immediately see a single web page with the mail server set-up details. The BT email client set-up starts here.

I do not know if it's relevant or not, but I got a message on my ipad while on safari saying that my iPhone has a virus. I looked it up and it seems it might have just been an ad from the website I was on, but it happened around the same time YouTube stopped working.

You will find that using the YouTube app will provide a better viewing experience for YouTube videos.

I have the exact same problem trying to use the Remote app on both my iPhone 3gs and iPad 2 with either my Mac or ATV2. My Remote app used to work on my phone - I can't recall if I ever actually used it with my iPad, but when I tried today, I got all the same results as you did (on both iPad, and then iPhone). I was using my ATV2 to play music from iTunes on my Mac and wanted to use the Remote app, but it would not connect to either device no matter what I did.

Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your phone/iPad then try logging out of your account on the phone/iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it

I have read the the advice you gave, and I had already tried that. It did not help.
When I tried to download an album with nine songs, (I have paid for the complete album), two songs were missing. One of them has showed up/disappeared a couple of times, but with a cloud/arrow-symbol next to it, what I thought to be a symbol for downloading from the cloud. When I click it, it starts a downloading process, and then I am told it cannot be done, "please try again later". The other song is nowhere to be seen. The song with the cloud/arrow-symbol, I bought 3 times, once with the album, twice just the song. That didn't change matters. iTunes tells me I have downoladed all songs I have purchased.
I do not really understand why you do not understand what I am writing, I only describe what happens when I use iTunes.
If a person want to use iCloud, one needs an iPhone, iPad or an iPod Touch. That information is not given until you have downloaded and installed the iCloud program. That is why I have it on my computer, but cannot use it. To set up an iClod account, you have to connect one of the above mentioned devices. I don't have one, so I cannot do it.
If you want the (13013) problem explained, I suggest you google it. I am not the only one to have that problem.

No. Safari does not have the option to attach files for uploading other than photos.
Look at iCab Mobile in the App Store. There are other browsers that may do this, but I'm pretty sure that iCab will fill the need.
