IPad password problem after update. Please HELP!

When I attempt to change to my Apple ID in Settings / Store / Apple ID, I am able to sign out and sign in with the new ID. The ID and password have been changed in ITunes also. However, when I attempt to update any apps in the app store, the pop up authentication box has the old ID on it. The ID on the IPad and in ITunes appear to be the updated version. When I go to the settings on my IPAD the correct ID shows up, but I cannot update any of the apps. I have been trying to correct this for 2 days now and I am getting really annoyed.
I don't know if it makes a difference, but my Apple ID and password is not the original ID and password I used when purchasing my Apps.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Apps you bought with your old Apple ID are bound to that specific ID. If you've moved onto a new ID, you'll have to re-purchase the apps. This is why when you tried to update the apps, the Apple ID which you purchased said app with appears in the "password box"

    Two nights ago i did a software update. Shut the computer down everything was fine. Im not sure the software update worked properly. When i restarted the computer later that evening, all i got was the gray screen with the apple. A friend was searching forums for me over the internet while we were trying to fix it. Did the CTRL OPTION R P thing and that didnt work. Did the CTRL S and that didnt work. Next day went and bought a Snow Leapord cd. After three hours the status bar moved appx 3/4 of an inch. Took it to apple. They wiped the Hardrive clean and reinstalled Snow Leapord to it. Now it restarts and operates. However, it takes about 15 min for it to start up and get to the desktop and it runs TERRIBLY slow. It has a 500g hard drive that was put in 2 weeks ago. It also has 2g of RAM. After taking it to apple it is only showing 1.5G of RAM after the wiped the hard drive. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!! Everything was working fabulous prior to 2 nights ago.

    Well I just rewiped the hardrive clean and reinstalled snow leapord. IT WORKED!!!!!! Computer is running fast as could be, start ups in less than 30 seconds, no lagging. Im really happy as i bought this computer from a good friend and its less than a week since ive had it. I think ill just live with the ram still showing 1.5g. I think ill wait and just go get 2 4g sticks when i get around to it that way It will be as fast as possible and ill be using the ports to their full potential.

    I have a 8gb A1288 (2nd Gen) ipod that has been working fine till now. The device asked for a software update and downloaded the necessary software. During the update process; however, something happened and the computer started not recognizing the device now. On the device screen there is a symbol asking for me to connect the cable to itunes but even if I connect it to the computer, the device is not recognized. Resetting the device didn't solve the problem. Could you please help?

    Tried DFU mode? This stands for Device Firmware Update and/or Download Firmware Upgrade.
    This is how to put your device into DFU:
    1. Connect to A computer with iTunes open, Turn off (Whilst still connected)
    2. Hold Home + Sleep/wake together for 10 seconds.
    3. Let go of sleep wake BUT keep holding home for 10 seconds.
    This shoould result in a message on your PC/Mac screen. Follow the steps and it should work. Let me know of the results.

    It could be a problem with your WiFi router or your iPad.
    If you are having WiFi problems it is necessary to isolate whether the problem is with your network or your iPad. Note: Do NOT consider your network to be blameless if some other devices can connect to it.
    First, test your iPad on some other WiFi networks: a friends, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, etc.
    If it works well there then the problem is probably with your network. Try restarting your WiFi router by removing power for 30 seconds. If that does not help check for a firmware update for your router. If none exists which corrects the problem consider replacing the router.
    If your iPad does not function well on other networks it possibly has a hardware problem. You could try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings to see if that corrects the problem. If not, contact Apple Support or visit an Apple store for evaluation. They can provide a replacement if your iPad is bad.
    If you need more help please give the make, model, and version of your WiFi router and how you have it configured.

  • Solved ( Ipad charging problem after update IOS 7.0.4 )

    Its already verified by me ( Technician ) problem solved.
    We were working on my customers ipad for 2-3 weeks finally figured out whats the problem.
    We replaced new battery, cable and charger did not work. Reseting your ipad also does not work.
    Since we fixed customers Ipad. We tried the small charger, 10w charger and connecting to computer it works. Fully charge.
    Its easy fixed. Here what you can do. You need to do fresh factory restore. Do not use restore / update
    1. If your ipad is dead, slow charging. Find a way to have it charge get it at least 5-10 % charge so that your computer will detect it on Itune.
    2. Open Itune, check if your detect it, you see it on top right coner.
    3. If you have FIND MY IPAD app you have to turn it off otherwise it wont allow you. To turn it off go to PRIVACY then you will see LOCATION services turn it on
        You also see FIND MY IPAD if its on turn it off it will ask your Apple ID and password. If its off already your ready to go. NOTE: Ipad has to be connected
        on  WIFI or 3G
    4. Go back to Itune. On the top right corner you will see your IPAD NAME click that, you see another box ( restore / update and restores ipad ) select restore
       Ipad ( Factory restore with new IOS 7.0.4 ) let it finish the restore and your done. It will now Fixed your problem. It should charge using your original charge
      or connecting to your computer.
    NOTE: If you want to upgarde your IOS to 7.0.4 dont do the update you might have problem. You do fresh Factory restore it install new IOS 7.0.4 no problem.
              If you have data that you need to have to back it up this restore will earese all information on your ipad.

    The weird iTunes icon.... Does it also show the USB cord on the screen? If it does, that means that you have to restore your iPad using iTunes on your computer. Something went wrong and you have to fix it by restoring the iOS software.

  • 5g 30gig iPod not working after update, Please Help!

    I have a 5th gen 30gig iPod and a yesterday I tried to update it. During the update after it shut itself off and started back up the updater froze around 20%. After about two hours of waiting I forced the updater to quit (restarted it with menu/select) and then tried to turn it back on to no avail. So right now the iPod is dead.
    I've tried the whole hold menu/select to reset (even for up to a min) then I did the flip hold on and off and try again method. I also tried with the iPod plugged into my PC and my Mac. I also tried using the AC adapter. All attempts resulted in failure. Because it stopped working after the update I'm confident that it isn't the battery or that the iPod is physically damaged and that this is just a software issue.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've had the iPod for a little over a year and therefore have no warranty for it.

    I am having the same exact problem as you, it just won't boot up. The apple logo lights up on the screen for a little while and tried to boot up, then the screen goes black, and it starts over, the ipod trying,(and failing)to boot up. This goes on like this until the battery is dead. I'll repost if I figure out how to fix this.

    Since my iPad mini has been upgrade it crash often. I'm getting fed up,every new update supposed to fix bugs but also comes with a new failure.
    I will think twice before to buy a iPhone 5 or give a chance to Samsung ?

    Try this:
    1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
    2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.

    So I updated my phone a few nights ago and it went fairly smoothly. It dropped my apps, but that was easily fixed by going to the app store and just redownloading them all.
    Tonight, I went to update my wife's phone. I first synced it so it would make a backup of everything on it. Started the update and it dropped everything from her phone (contacts, pics, apps, matter of fact, its like its a brand new phone...) So I thought to myself, no biggie, I'll just restore it.
    Now, I use the same computer for my wife and I's phones. I went to restore her phone and it only has restore points for my phone. Is there anything I'm missing? As many husband's out there probably know, this is going to be a fun conversation to have with my wife that I lost everything on her phone (albeit not my fault but that really doesn't matter).
    Please, please, please someone let me know if there is anything I can do to restore her phone before this update threatens a wife's wrath being brought upon a husband just trying to make her phone faster.

    Even if it told me it was creating a backup? I can understand that apple doesnt care too much about multiple people using one computer (hope you caught the sarcasm), but if it told me it was creating a packup, shouldnt it have legitimately created one? It doesnt even show one in the restore from log.

  • Sound problems after storm - please help

    Last night there was a thunderstorm and I plugged my mac into its charger. I was playing a video and the computer started making clicking/static noises (I forgot you should turn it off in a storm). I then turned it off, plugged it back into the charger but decided to unplug it altogether and just leave it turned off but not charging. Now everything is working fine but if I play any sound the computer still makes that same noise it made during the storm (noise seems to be coming from area where top half/screen folds to meet the bottom half).
    Is there anything I can possibly do to make the noise stop?

    No I don't hear any noise unless I'm playing a video on the Internet. I just tried playing the video I played last night when the noise happened and the noise happened again, but the weird thing is when I tried playing other videos from this site the noise doesn't happen.
    Maybe it has something to do with that specific Internet address or something.
    Also I prayed over it, which seems silly but Jesus loves to show us He cares about the small things. And it worked because the noise stopped! God loves us so much

    I am facing the same issue! I bought 5c few days back
    and everything was fine till I updated the software 7.0.4!
    Whenever am connected to wifi am unable to make a call and if someone tries
    Calling me they get the message that my number is not
    Reachable! When I go back to 3G the calls work perfectly!!
    Please help me out since I use wifi more than my network.

    Force close the App Store app and reset the iPad. No data will be lost when you reset the device.
    In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
    Next, reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
