Ipad photo album transfer

I have an "album" of 82 photos in my iPad 1 that I need to burn to a CD to send to a client.  All photos from my iPad are also in my iPhoto library on my IMAC but this specific album is not designated as such in iPhoto, it is just part of the huge picture download from my ipad.  Is there a way to just import and save a specific album from the ipad?  Please advise.

Albums created on the iPad are for use only on the device - TTBOMK - they will not transfer back to the Mac that way. The new album feature on the iPad is just a way to reorganize photos on the device itself.

  • How to transfer iPad photo album to mac

I had my old imac photo albums sync. to my ipad. Right now, my imac is crashed.  Has it any solution to trasnfer those ipad photo albums  to another mac?

You can not transfer albums - you  can only transfer the photos to the Mac and then use them there
You either use PhotoStream, an iTunes sync or connect the IOS device with a cable and import to iPhoto on the Mac

  • IPad Photo Album interface

Did the iPad Photo Album interface (where there is a black background and you can pinch to expand albums) come from the Mac OS? I think I've been seeing that interface before the iPad came out but I cannot do it on my MacBook Pro. Can you help me clear this?

That system belongs to the iPad etc.. It was advertised extensively so that may be what you are thinking of.
You can change iPhoto on your Mac to a black background in iPhoto preferences > Appearance and can make other changes from the menubar View option.

  • Transfer desktop video files to iPad photo album without iTunes?

    Hello,
I'm looking for a very easy to transfer video files from a desktop PC to the iPad's photo album.
We can't use iTunes sync because the iPad is synced with a home computer (we're in an office environment). Need the video file in the photo album so that it can be imported into Keynote.
Currently we email the video file to ourselves, open the email on the iPad, and save the video into the Camera Roll. A bit cumbersome of a method and can't be used for large video files that our email server won't handle (20 MB +).
Any suggestions? If a special app, would prefer if it was free .
    Thank you!

  • How do I maintain adobe photoshop albums when importing into ipad photo albums

How do I maintain the adobe photoshop albums when importing them into the ipad photo library?

Do these albums on the iPad have the cloud icon next to them? If they do, they are albums that you have previously purchased from iTunes. You can remove them from the Music app by going to Settings>iTunes &App Store>Show All>Music>Off.

  • Copy iPad photo albums to Mac

Is there any way to sync the photo albums I create on my iPad to my mac. Photo only seems to sync the photos but not my own albums. Any idea?
My dad has taken a heap of photos and put them in albums yet I can't copy those albums to the Mac so I can burn them on a DVD for him to give to a friend.
pain in the neck to copy the photos across and build new albums especially when it is already all there

    Good morning
The programming is set-up with the logic that the albums on your iPad were transferred in from iTunes, so their isn't a way to move them to your computer through iTunes.
There are a number of 3rd party apps that do this, I have never used them myself but here is one that Google gave me for your problem

  • Transferring ipad photo albums to mac pro

    Hi,
I have over 3000 pictures which are saved in individual albums on my ipad. I would like to transfer these albums to my mac pro. However it is only wanting to transfer the full 3000 pictures and not in their albums. It will then require me to meticulously put these pictures into albums on my mac. Is there any way of transferring the albums to my mac?
    Thanks

  • Photos in my iPad photo albums don't match photos in iPhoto

There were photos in my iPad and iPhone albuns that were not in those albums in iPhoto (and vice versa).
After lots of futile attempts to fix the issue (including rebuilding the photo librarary on my iMac,) I finally figured out how to do this . . .
NOTE: This worked perfecty for me. I hope it does for you.
You've got to remove your "iPod Photo cache." (Don't worry; a new one will be created next time you sync.
    To do this . . .
    1) Open Finder
    2) Click on your User Name
    3) Hold down the Option key while you click on "Pictures"
    4) Find the folder named "iPod Photo Cache"
    5) Move it to the Trash
    6) Connect your iPad (and/or iPhone/iPod Touch) to iTunes
    7) UNcheck sync "Photos" for all devices
    8) Sync device(s)
    9) Check "Sync Photos" for the device(s), indicating which albums you want to syb\nc from your iPhoto library TO those devices.
    10) Sync your device(s)
The albums on your device(s) should now be in total synchronicity with the albums in iPhoto.
    Good luck!

The only thing I can think of beyond what I originally posted is that you try rebuilding your iPhoto library by holding down the Command AND Option keys as you open iPhoto. When you see the dialog box,  check all the boxes and continue.
The process may take a while, depending on how many photos you have in your library. (Example: 3,000 photos could take an hour or a little more).
Then . . . follow steps 6-10 from my original post.
Here they are again without the embarrassing typo . . .
    6) Connect your iPad (and/or iPhone/iPod Touch) to iTunes
    7) UNcheck sync "Photos" for all devices
    8) Sync device(s)
    9) Check "Sync Photos" for the device(s), indicating which albums you want to sync from your iPhoto library TO those devices.
    10) Sync your device(s)
    Hope you have luck!

  • How to export iPad photo album into iPhoto.

I had my Windows laptop and iPad 2 stolen in a house break-in .  The laptop had my iTunes library and photos. I have an 1st gen iPad with several albums on it that are not part of the camera roll or photo stream.  I want to export these to my beautiful new MacBook Air but when I connect the iPad to the Macbook it doesn't appear anywhere even in iPhoto or remote devices.
Any help and advice would be very much appreciated.
    TIA
    Jo

    Hi Tom,
thanks for the tip - i did as you suggested and yes my old ipad showed up but only the pics that were taken on the ipad it self showed up for import.
The albums I am trying to retrive were put from my old laptop onto my ipads through iTunes.  As my library was on the laptop that was stolen I suspect that this is the root of the problem.

  • Viewing individual iPad Photo albums on AppleTV

I have separated most of my photos on my ipad3 into albums and would like to show individual albums as slide shows using my AppleTV(2) .  I am unable to figure out how to do this if, in fact, it can be done. As I look at the choices for albums to view on the AppleTV, they are not the same albums that I have on my iPad.  I guess my first solution would be to learn how to have the same albums display on the AppleTV that I have assembled on the iPad. I feel sure this would resolve my concerns.  Syncing is not my strong point. Please help if you can.  Thanks.

The way the iPad handles photos is a major flaw for me. When it syncs photo folders from my computer to the ipad it totally ignores all subfolders. So, on my ipad I have one huge album called Travel with all the photos from many different trips all combined as one. Why can't I have a subAlbums of all the different trips? The ipad really needs to be able to display subAlbums.

  • Can't delete SOME photos from my iPad Photo Album

    Hello there,
I need a bit of help.  I'm using an iPad 2 OS 6.0.1.
There's a few photos that I'm not able to delete from my Photos folder.
I click on the Photos App
    Then click on Edit
I then get the option to put check marks on the photos.  At that point I can click on the Delete button and delete SOME of them, but not all.
It's strage because some of the ones I can't delete, just seem to be duplicates of some of the ones I CAN delete.
In the past, I was syncing my iPad to my computer.  Since moving to the iCloud, I've stopped plugging my iPad into any computer.  I've read some message boards that say that this is because those photos were added by syncing to the laptop and that in order to remove them, you have to re-sync to the laptop.
One BIG issue is, that laptop is now not functioning.  Assuming these photos were added through that laptop, is there a way to remove them without syncing to that laptop?  Also, why would there be some duplicates.  Would it have been an error in the sync process that created the dups?
I'm thinking MAYBE the answer is going to be to sync the iPad to my NEW laptop.  If that's the answer, is that safe to do without risk of losing stuff?  (music, movies, apps, app data, settings)
    Thanks,
    Bill

  • How is an iPad Photo Album Organized?

Photos seem to be organized at random but I need them sorted alphabetically.
This is important because I use my ipad professionally and I need to be able to quickly and easily get to certain pictures, not scroll through the library looking for a certain picture.
The items in the folder used to be organized alphabetically, but that changed recently.
Sorry Apple, but the ipad is little more than a toy without control over how photos are organized.

Also, I am running on Windows, so iPhoto isn't going to be an option.

  • How to upload iPad photos to Mac Desk top

I have a number of photos located in iPad photo album and need to transfer them to my Mac Desk Top OS X 10.7, can this be done in lieu of sending  photos via email?      Walt

For photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from email/websites then see this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 (iPhoto or Aperture should detect them)
If you want to copy back photos that were originally synced from a computer then you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer (which has a free lite version called Simple Photo & Video Transfer) which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.
