IPad saying that it is unable to purchase in apps purchases
My Ipad was working fine, i was able to make in app purchases etc. My grandson was visiting and wanted to play minecraft, so put his apple ID in so he could download hos content to my ipad, played his game for the visit, then deleted all details of his itunes acount when he left. He at no point downloaded anythng esle but minecraft.
Now however, when i try and make in app purchases on my account with apps downloaded with my own ID I get the following
"Unable to Purchase. This item is for an app that was purchased by a different apple ID. To buy this item with this apple ID you must first purchase the app".
I have purchesed the app. I really dont fancy starting agian. As I said ipad was fine until we did this minecraft thing.
Any suggestions??
The message would indicate the the app was not purchased with that account.
You can try:
- Go to Settings>iTunes and App Store and sign out
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to itunes and App Store and sign in
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

My iPad says that she is busy and is unable to accept my request even when everything is closed and nothing is being used. similar to what is happening to me....the difference is, after restoring itunes detect ipod and ask to restore again and again....
I know it may look kinda stupid but: just leave the ipod there for about 2 minutes, that's about the time my itunes is taking to detect my ipod...if it doesn't work, try connecting ur ipod to other computer with itunes (no need to sync, just to check if itunes will recognize) to check if the problem is with the ipod or with the itunes and/or computer. -

iPad 2 problem. After updating to IOS 8.0.2 iPad says that I need to plug into iTunes. When I do that, the only option is to restore iPad to factory settings? iPad will do nothing until then. I have never had this problem before. Help

I've uploaded Acrobat XI Pro and it freezes when I'm using it. I uninstalled and re-installed. When I login, it says that it is unable to validate the account and has an option to use the trial. How do I fix this?

If you have the original iPad 1, then iOS 5.1.1, is as high as you can go and that is the most up to date software that you can run.

It appears that iTools has backed up on the iPad as well, I tried manage storage from settings but all storage settings are not enabled. I downloaded iTools on my PC and pressed the backup on iBooks in applications, it created a folder on my PC that iTunes on the PC cannot read. I stopped what was called backing up to local when I got a message from the iPad saying that storage was almost full.
So how do I 1- repair the iPad storage
2- backup the books in IBooks to my PC (they used to backup easily with iTunes but after the last update of iTunes they just would not)

Restart your PC. after the PC restarts, bring up your Task manager, and go to the "Processes" tab. Click "Image name" to sort the processes alphabetically.
Now try to launch iTunes.
Does an itunes.exe process appear? If so, does it vanish after a second or so, or does it persist in the Processes tab (even though iTunes itself never shows up)? -

When I try to sync my iphone I get a message saying that it was unable to back up my iPhone as an error occurred. My iPhone needs a software update but it won't let me do that until my phone is backed up! I have authorised my computer and tried disconnecting my phone from the computer, but nothing is working. Help please?!
I was receiving the same message. I had to uncheck the box that allowed me to sync my phone to my computer (PC) via wi-fi. After that, I have not had any problems. I am speculating that this issue is probably related to the wi-fi problems people are experiencing with iOS 6.

Try going to Settings>Store and sign out and sign back in.
It also could be due to an Apple server problem. and yu will just have to wait and try again. -
I connected my iphone to iTunes and it erased my ringtones. It also makes me pay for my ringtones over again on the iTunes app, even though it says that I've already previously purchased the item.
I should mention that I also did a restore hoping that would solve the problem but it did not, and it was after this that I lost some of my music.
