Ipad screen not function

My Ipad 1 3G fell down screen was broken and I went to ipad service replace the screen but when I switch on the screen turn blur and the touch scree not working, then he ask me to change something that cost almost can buy new Ipad 2 anyone know what is the problem, maybe I can buy this spare part and ask someone to fix it....

This is my boilerplate response when app downloads are stalled or in the "waiting" mode. There are a bunch of things here to try.
Tap on the "installing" icon and see if you can pause the install, then tap on it again in order to resume the install.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download and install at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and see if the install resumes.
If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad.

  • Help me please-ipad screen not working

My ipad screen just randomly went black today, it has never done this before and I have had it for a year and a half now.
When i press the sleep button as if to turn it on there is a dim back light-the background changes from black to a faint blue- but there is hardly a change.
However here's the funny thing, the rest of the ipad is fully functionable. I can unlock the ipad I just have to guess where on the screen the slider is as I cannot see it. I can turn my ipod on and slide the pages so the problem is obviously just the screen.
I have tried turning it off and on again and charging it and plugging it into my computer and holding down the home button and the sleep button for a long period of time to reset my ipad but nothing is working. I desperately need my ipad for work and other things so I was wondering if anyone had experienced this problem before or if anyone could give me some helpful advice it would be much appreciated.
    Please help!

If the hard Reset has not cured it you might be best following this link and putting your iPad into Recovery mode - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4097

  • IPad screen not smooth

Any idea , playing games on the iPad is a hassle ..when my fingers go against it it's not smooth..anyone know of a good screen protector they have used where its smooth to use the iPad screen ..the screen is without a protector ow Nd it feels liked have to put extra effort to move stuff on the screen ..iPad 4

I would recommend to buy screen protector that is ant-glare or anti-fingerprint. It would be smoother.

  • IPad screen not as smooth

i've been using my iPad2 for around 6 months now.  but the screen is kinda sticky. it's not sticky that much but I cannot softly slide my finger on the screen.
i do not use any chemicals or anything as of such to clean my iPad screen other than a soft piece of cloth that came with the Macbook pro. my hand is not oily and if it ever gets, i always wash it.
i wish my fingers slide over it as smooth as the iPhone my brother owns.

Perhaps you do need to clean the screen with a slightly dampened lint-free cloth, rather than just wiping it with just soft cloth.
I just use a damp soft tissue.

  • Ipad screen not working. what do i do?

    hi,
my ipad screen just stopped working. i have a 1st generation ipad and i am afraid the apple store won't be able to replace it. do you think they will? is there anything else i can do?
    thank you,
    yellow_lamp

Do you mean you believe the iPad is working but the display is not showing anything or that your iPad isn't actually working?
Either way I would try a restart first, hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Power button down at the same time.  The slide to Power Off screen will appear, ignore this and wait for the apple logo to appear and see if you can get it to restart.
Sometimes you have to hold the buttons down for what seems like a really long time even though this is supposed to do a restart by holding the buttons down for 10-15 seconds.  My wife's iPad had a problem like this and I plugged it in to the charger and held the buttons down for nearly 4 minutes to see what would happen and this cleared up the problem.

  • Ipad screen not automatically tune.

    Hi,
Not sure if anyone is having the same problem as me.... My ipad screen is not automatically tune to portrait or landscape position whichever way i am holding. Sometimes, it works, sometimes it doesn't. For sure the orientation unlocked button is turned on, so it should rotate automatically.
If anyone has a solution for this, please share. Thanks!
    Cheryl

You said that you checked the side switch but did you check the task bar? Double tap the home button and swipe to the right. Look to the left side and see if there is a lock icon in there. Tap it to unlock if it is locked.
If you have checked the switch and the task bar and youre sure that the settings are correct, restart or reset the iPad and see if the screen will rotate.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

  • HT1212 iPad screen not working, how do I access it via itunes

My Ipad screen went blank but lights up.  Itunes is asking me to enter a password on the ipad but I cant see the screen.  Any way to access the ipad via itunes?

    Have you dropped it lately?
Flip it screen side down on your lap and give it a good whack on the back.
It sounds strange but others have had success with it.

  • Ipad camera not functional is only the start of my problems

    Greetings,
I have an ipad mini which I bought in September 2014. A few months ago the back camera stopped working, when I click on the camera app it might work for a second or 2 then freeze, or half the screen turns purple and locks up. Maybe after about 20 seconds it unfreezes momentarily then locks up again. Front camera works fine.
Compounding this is abysmal Apple support- I tried to contact Apple support 3 times and they suggested I 'bring in it'... However, the Hong Kong repair centres were booked solid. I tried to re-book a week later and it was booked solid again!
Either way, this is not convenient for me ( I work full time and have a newborn baby) to keep trying to contact Apple or run around to their service centres ( at least a 2 hour round trip for me) even if they could schedule me in.
Furthermore, yesterday in the middle of a presentation my VGA-Lightning adapter stopped working.
Firstly, why am I experiencing so many hardware failures? Is this normal? ( the fully booked service centres in Hong Kong suggest YES)
Is there a more convenient way to get these 2 items fixed? Courier, no questions asked replacements? ( Apple resellers dont want anything to do with broken stuff)
Finally,  how long is this stuff going to take to fix? What extra problems can I expect?

If it has NEVER been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  It could take well over an hour!  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.  You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again.  Also, read this.
If all of the above fails to help, don't forget that you have a one-year warranty.

  • IPad screen not going to sleep

I have the iPad 4th gen iOS 8.0.2 (not enough space to update). Recently, sometimes when it shows a notification, and the screen turns on, it never really goes back off. It basically freezes at that current time, dims the screen, and stays like that until I put it on sleep myself. It also messes up the battery, because when it' sin that frozen semi-on state, it thinks it's on sleep or off, so after being unplugged for the whole day it still shows 100%. I'm not sure what other info to give right now, but I'll try to give as much as I can. I'm trying to get a picture, so I'll try adding that later. When I press the home button or power button when it's in this frozen state, it resumes back to full brightness, as though it was on sleep. I then have to press the power button again to put it to sleep. I've had my ipad for 2 years and this never happened before. Any help would be nice, and if you need any more info I'll get it as soon as I can, plus a picture.

So that mean the screen does swithch on and off when placed in the right type of holster and this works due to magnatic and not photosensor.
Is there application available to enable the photosensor to turn on and off the screen since i had bought & using side flap case and not holster.
    Await reply on the above,
    Thanking you in advance.
    Regards,
    Ivan

  • Ipad screen not working :-(

my ipad sceen isn't broken or got water on it but its not working. I cant even unlock it. its on the lock screen and I cant click on anything and if I try to shut it off I cant swipe the off button, HELP this is the only thing that gets my 1yr to sit and eat

Try this. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
