Ipad shows 12.5 gb capacity and 1.0gb available but cant find that much data on ipad

i ipad shows that i have only 1 gb of storage left but i dont have very much on it as far as apps less than (2gb in total when i add them up). i do have 2 gb of movies and less than i gb of music and pictures combined.

I would suggest the following steps;
1. Back up your iPad to iTunes on your Computer.
2. Disconnect your device once done.
3. Back up to iCloud on your iPad.
4. Sign out of iCloud on your iPad, then sign back in again.
5. Reset your iPad by pressing the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button simultaneously for about 15 seconds. After a few seconds, the display will go black - keep both buttons pressed all the time though - and then the display will come back on white, with a black Apple logo. Then let go of the buttons, and let your iPad reboot as normal, entering your passcode if used, when prompted.
6. Then reconnect to iTunes on your computer, and you should see your data has come down.
Don't worry, you won;t lose any data at all by resetting your iPad as described above.

You select the printer properties and set the appropriate page size (I think there is a place to set it in PDF Maker too, but not sure). In the printer, this is equivalent to putting the proper paper in the printer.

Upgrading the iOS "over-the-air" was introduced with iOS 5. If you are currently running an iOS version < 5.0 you can only update through iTunes. Connect your iPad to your PC or Mac. Open iTunes and click on "Check for updates"

I have the same problem. One of the reliable things about Apple OSX, that we could count on screenshots being simple. Then DropBox came along. I suspect DropBox is the culprit here. I don't mind, even am grateful if DB captures my captures, but who gave them permission to totally changes my whole universe!!?

MacBook Pro / Mozilla Firefox / Netflix / Silverlight Update solved - DON'T DWNLOAD FROM NETFLIX
I solved this problem tonight. I have a MacBook Pro with 10.5.8. I know, it's old. But I love my Netflix and I recently noticed that Firefox plays Netflix much better. Then I suddenly got this message that I needed to download the latest Silverlight - it only takes 30 seconds! - WRONG. However, after much searching, I finally did the steps in order and it worked.
This was after repeatedly downloading Silverlight from the Netflix site without success. So here's what I did:
1. Went to http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/Get-Started/Install/Default.aspx
2. Followed the directions. I felt like such an idiot for not doing it right before.
3. Go to your hard drive and search for "Silverlight" to locate ANY existing Silverlight files: .dmg, etc.
[also check your Libary/ Internet Plug-ins, but the above search is faster]
4. Drag it all to the trash and empty it.
5. Go back to the Get Silverlight page and click on the Install on that page, not the Netflix site.
6. Note the steps for Safari or Mozilla Firefox - I wanted Firefox, so I follwed those instructions.
7. Once it's installed, close all the browsers and Restart that bad boy. Right away.
8. Open a browser, go to Netflix and proceed to joyfully rot your brain with Netflix content. Yay!

All apps are tied to the Apple ID that downloaded them.
They can not be transferred to a new Apple ID.
You will have to use the Apple ID and password used to download them.
If you do not wish to do so, erase them and download them under the new ID. This will wipe any data in the app and you will have to pay for them again.

I've been experiencing with the same problem lately. Have you tried getting a new sim card?
With the new sim it seems to work well for a few days and then it goes back to the same problem. The warranty on my phone just ended about a month ago, and I've never dropped it and no water damage either. When I do a erase all and reset, it seems to work for a few days again and comes back to the same issue. I've deleted all my apps and been using the phone just as a phone and txting device. New IOS update doesn't seem to change this issue either. I've been getting by with doing a network reset and turning it off and on a few times a day.
Anyone have any solution? Much appreciated!

Do a Spotlight search. If you see it there, then it is probably hidden. Connect to iTunes and you should find it in a hidden screen--like 10 or 11. Just drag it back to a visible screen.

Did the terms pop-up or did you click on them in downloads tab in the iTunes app ? If you clicked on it then it's just for info - your TV show should have downloaded into the Videos app.

I will suggest (and probably be corrected) that what you're seeing is probably interlaced footage on your progressive monitor. (You mentioned you're watching the DVD on your computer.) Your TV has far fewer lines of resolution than your computer monitor, so FCP works within those constrictions. Also your TV runs at 29.97 frames a second, which is actually 60 frames a second as each frame is divided into two fields, which comb together to for one frame. These combs are very much evident when watching a DVD on a computer. Even high budget Hollywood films have this problem, especially when the camera or subject is moving. There is no way around this if you're outputting on DVD or NTSC.
You could create an Progressive file, which won't do this on your monitor, but thats a whole other ball of wax...

my iphone is and has been locked to one carrier. all i've done is a software update to ios7, like all the other updates since i bought the phone when it was released. same carrier, same sim card. :/
