ITunes Store shows my old ID when asking for password. How can this be changed?

Apple requires that an ID be an email address so I changed mine to my email address. The same was changed in my iPad and iPhone settings. But when I try to download something from th Apps Store, iTunes shows my old ID. How can this be changed? Please help.

So when you changed it, you went into your Apple ID that was not using an email address, and EDITed the Apple ID to the email address, correct? Did you sign out of the iTunes & App Store on your device?

Same machine - many MAC and IP addresses. How can this happen?

Both my machines show (on WakeonLan) as having more than one IP address and MAC address. This resulted yesterday in my wife's Windows laptop which had a fixed ip address not working because the IP address had recently been adopted by the iMac.
How can this happen please and can I clean it up?

I am trying to determine how I can take an email without an attachment and save it to a folder. I am not able to paste the message anywhere. I can copy but to no avail. I want to set up folders in email to move and save emails. How can this be done?

If you are using iPad Mail app, in the left hand column tap the arrow in the top left corner until you return to where your main email address appears. This is the main account screen.
Then tap the email address/account once.
In the left column in the upper right, tap the Edit button.
At the bottom of the left column/panel there is a New Mailbox button.
Tap the button. At the top of the left column, a keyboard entry field appears.
Thiis is where you tap and enter the name of your new Mailbox folder.
Once done naming, click the done button at the top right of the left column and you are done.
This is how you add additonal mailbox folders to your email account.
Once the mailbox folders you need are created, you can return to any email entry, Tap the Edit button in the upper right of the left column, again. A button appears next to all the emails in the left column.
Tap the buttons for the ones you wish to move to a particular mailbox folder, at the bottom of the left column, choose the Move button, then pick the mailbox folder to move the emails to and they will automatically move to that mailbox folder.

What I would like to know is how do I get to keep my stuff different from my husbands, there are things that we both like and things that we don't. You'll notice that each iPad is identified by name. See image below. Highlight the appropriate iPad and configure iTunes the way that you wish. The second image below is an example for apps. You'll see something similar for movies, TV shows, etc.
The only minor problem is app updating. IF you choose to do it from inside iTunes, it's a minor nuisance. Each app is permanently associated with whatever Apple ID was originally used to obtain it. If you're logged in to the wrong ID, you'll need to log out and back in again. On the bright side, if you update from the iPad, all you need is the password for the correct ID. The iPad takes care of the rest.
Mail is a special case. I use Mac Mail and the setup is pretty much automatic. What are you using?

Some sites now use scripts to add entries to your history as you ''scroll through a page''. This has been reported on a couple of different news sites. However, I'm not seeing that effect at the moment.
Can you compare the number of different locations you load in the sidebar to the number of entries on the back button history? Normally Firefox doesn't keep track of background requests that modify a page, but a script might be able to turn that on, or perhaps an add-on.
In case one of your extensions is involved, could you test the page in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled ''(Flash and other plugins still run)''
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset)

HT1349 I placed a CD into the player and nothing happened! How can this be removed?

I purchased my i-mac this week and came to try a CD ( Mac for Beginners). To my astonishment nothing happened and the CD
is still located with the mac!

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Have you tried connecting the iPad to your computer and using iTunes to restore to factory settings? These are the basic steps.
