Ipad shows itunes icon only at the center after loading IOS 7
Hi,
I downloaded IOS 7 to my 4 year old daughters ipad 2 and after completion the screen only shows a usb picture and an itunes icon on the center.please help shes been crying to play with it again.thank you.

i was trying to download my ipad pics (2400) onto my pc via itunes and now my ipad is frozen with itunes icon and a cordYOUR IPAD IS IN RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY. -
Showing a jwindow only when the image is loaded
Hi,
excuse me for the simplicity of my question, but I'm a beginner..
I want to show a jwindow for few seconds opening my program. This jwindows has a jpanel with an image. The problem is that, when the jwindow is showed, the image isn't loaded and one sees the empty jwindow. Can I wait that the image has been loaded to show the jwindow?
The image is setted by a
Image i=Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getImage("img\\icon.gif");
g.drawImage(i, 10,10, null);
in paintComponent of my JPanel.

Ipad won't start up after installing an update. Shows itunes icon with cord from the side.

That means that you have to restore the de ice using iTunes on a computer. There is nothing else that you can do to fix it now and you cannot back it up now either. Connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes and restore the iPad.
IF you don't have a computer, find someone that has one running iTunes or go to an Apple Store and ask them to restore it for you. -

I was updating my ipad (ios7) while syncing with my laptop. suddenly the screen turned black and seconds later a huge itunes icon appeared on the screen. the same icon appears and not the usual interface even after resetting it several times.

1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times. -
I am trying to tranfer photos from pc to ipad via itunes. I put the photos in a file and sub-files in order to tranfer them as albums: an main album with albums within. All the photos tranfered but into only one album. Is there a way to do this? Is there an app that would help. Also, I tranfered two albums into iphoto. I edited a photo in one album which created a new album of edits. I have removed the photos form the album but I am not able to delete the album themselves. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I am having the same problem and it is even bigger.
When opening a 1-page PDF in iBooks and sending it via mail it is sent inline as preview, but the recipient cannot open the file anymore. Also on iPad and iPhone there is no "open in" possible.
Somehow the mail app does destroy the file. What is going wrong? -
I converted aif files to mp3 files in iTunes so I could put them on a flash drive. Now when I transfer an album to the flash drive I get both the aif files and the mp3 files on the flash drive. How do I get the iTunes to only copy the smaller file?
My suggestion to use the smart playlist was more along the lines of making one list with rules to show everything in your library as long as it was kind "mpeg" (= mp3).
Smart playlists cannot be edited manually, only by changing the rules. You can use them as the basis for another smart playlist though.
There is added overhead to using smart playlists, so don't go overboard. -

Because that is the Current iOS for your Device and you can ONLY update to the Latest... current... version. -
iPad showed iOS notification I declined and it still showed one. All of the sudden after a month it updated?

While downloading software update for Itunes, got message saying detecting Ipad in recovery mode and telling us to restore Ipad to original settings, which we don't want to do. Also cannot turn on Ipad; shows Itunes symbol with connector. Help!
No promises but a System Reset is worth trying:
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.
A System Reset does not remove any apps, music, movies, etc. nor does it cause any settings to revert back to default.
Also, you might wish to download the iPad-2 User Guide. Pay special attention to page 162. Note that this Guide also applies to the iPad-1 with IOS 4.3 except for those functions that are not supported by the hardware.
