Mine did this too, when I tried to install the update. I phoned the help desk and was told to do a "restore". I.e. connect to another computer with ITunes on it and then follow the instructions once it recognizes your IPad. Good luck

It's hard to see exactly how just turning voiceover on would have created a passcode, but regardless of that ... if you can't get it sorted so that you can enter whatever the code is, you're going to have to resort to Restoring the iPad from the computer it was last sync'ed to.

Check out the article below to troubleshoot issues with connecting to WI-Fi. You may want to reset the Network Settings by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. It will not delete remove any personal data besides and known Wi-Fi networks that you have joined in the past.

Does a Reset work? Mostly unlikely! [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!

Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Since updating to ios7 --I turn off my iPad and go back to it later and it is on again. Has this happened to anyone else.

Several times I have turned off my iPad and when I go back to it later,it is on again to home page.since I keep it in a case this causes it to get hot which can't be good.this has only happened since recent upgrade.

That depends on how you have set up your Auto-Lock and Passcode Lock.
I have set Auto-Lock to 2 Minutes and Passcode Lock to Immediately.
If you want to try the same thing, then do this:
Settings > General > Auto-Lock > 2 Minutes
Settings > General > Passcode Lock > (enter your passcode) > Require Passcode > Immediately

Has lock rotation been accidentally enabled within the control centre? If you swipe up the screen is there a circle with a lock symbol & if so is is greyed out or white - if white it is enabled.

You'll find your notes under Mail in iCloud. There's a separate folder on the left that's labeled notes so you can access them anywhere. And your me.com account will have the same password as your Apple ID (in fact, you can log into iCloud with just your Apple ID, as the two accounts are permanently linked).

You may want to try this:
1. Backup iPad
2. Setup iPad as new. Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings
3. Test iPad thoroughly
4. If everything is fine, restore backup to iPad
