IPad Stuck in LOCKED mode after RESTORE asking for apple ID I no Longer use

Hi All,
This Morning I upgraded to iOS7. Both my iPad (3rd) and iPhone (4) were asking for iCloud ID I no longer use. Although I use the same Apple account but with a different e-mail ID. I Restored my iPad to factory settings and now it wont go pass the UNLOCK screen asking for the same OLD Apple ID.

I'm not sure what you can do at this point. If I had been in your shoes, I would have kept the pics in the camera's SD cards until my return home.
I'm really reluctant to suggest this but, at this point, you probably can't lose. Do a "Restore." Be forewarned that it could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.

I just took a peek at the TinyUmbrella FAQs. Your device has been jailbroke and that's likely the reason why the problem occurred to begin with. Contact the jailbreaker for assistance. Neither Apple nor anyone on the forum can help you as we do not know the characteristics of your device.

Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!

I plugged in my iPad2 to sync and download a document. I noticed that there was an update to iOS 5 so I elected to download the update. As a result my Ipad seems to be stuck in recovery mode as every time I plug it in and attempt to connect to iTunes I get the message. "Itunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with itunes." I do so and after waiting for the update to download it tells me the same thing again. I had a similar issue with my Ipad. I had to take it to Apple, they restored the system but after that my IPad did not sync. It was not until an hour ago I read on another forum someone suggesting disconnecting the Ipad abd turning it off, then connecting it to the PC (usb port) and then turning the Ipad on. Try it it may work for you. I tried apple support 3 times before with no luck! Good luck.

The only way to get out of recovery mode is by restoring the device via iTunes. If you initiated the update on iTunes on your computer, there may be a back up of the device that created before the update. Take a look at the articles below for more information.

IOS 8.1.3 get stuck into recovery mode after restoring

AAfter updating my iPhone 5s to the newest iOS it went into revovery mode and everytime I try restoring it it will just get suck into recovery mode

Honestly, If you are stuck in recovery mode. I would visit the nearest apple store and meet genius specialist to get you squared away. They may get you over this hump or simply swap out your device if is a hardware issue. I'm sorry you are faced with this issue.

Atempted to update iOS via itunes. iOS update did not take place. No symc or back up visible under devices in iTunes. usb only sees unknown usb device where it once saw my iPad. iTunes sees only unregonized iPad in recovery mode. Atempted restore several times from iTunes without success.

Iphone 6 stuck in updating mode on icloud drive update, I have version 8.3, with optus, have tried reset, turning off and updated version , still spinning wheel and stuck.

Help! ipad stuck in recovery mode after itunes error 6

so I was gonna update my ipad 3 from 6.1.2 I think, to 7.0.4 but I got the error 6 in itunes. now my ipad is showing the connect to itunes symbol and itunes wants to restore my ipad, which I wouldn't wanna if there was any chance to get it out of that frickin mode. I've tried anything I could find on the internet, like several tools such as tiny umbrella, redsn0w, ireb (which said my device wasn't supported cause of the A5) etc. but after rebooting the connect to itunes comes on again.
so if there is any method left that might work for me, pleeeease help me
a restore is the last thing I wann do, of course I have a backup and so on but it takes so much time to get all my stuff back on and everything

Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything...
After you have Recovered your Device...
Re-Sync your Content or Restore from the most recent Backup...

If the device is in Recovery Mode, the data is already lost. You will have to restore the device to regain access, and restoring will delete all content. If you have the photos in a backup, you can restore to that backup and it will restore the photos.

Is this how you do the restore/recovery?
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

Iphone stuck in recovery mode after restoring

Ok, so I was having the "searching..." signal for a long time, and then I decided to restore, after the restoration was done the iphone entered into recovery mode, i tried restoring again many times with no success, itunes keeps giving me an error (-1). The iphone is not jailbroken.

i really dont know what can cause it... best guess, somehow the iOS is not being saved correctly on the device...

My iPhone4 is stuck on recovery mode After restoring it.

My phone all of a sudden turned off and when I tried to turn it on it came up with the charge and iTunes symbols, which I found out ment it's in recovery mode so I plugged it into my laptop and restored it everything was going great it took no longer than 20 minutes and when on my laptop it said that my iphone has now been restored and updated I looked at my phone and the charge and iTunes symbols are still there ! I can't turn it on at all when I try pressing the lock button it looks as if it's going to turn on with the apple sign in the middle but then goes back to the symbols. Please help me now is not a great time for it to break ! What do I do??

Ipod Touch 2g stuck in recovery mode after restore, no error msgs

Help, please. I have an Ipod Touch 2generation that was my older sons and I wanted to restore it to factory to give to his younger brother. I get the message that is was restored successfully (Windows 7, no error messages or codes from Itunes) but when that message goes away and the ipod shows back up in itunes is still says its in recovery mode. I've tried different usb cables, different usb ports, turning off my anti-virus firewall protection, using a different pc (Windows Vista) and still the same thing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
