IPad stuck on message "hasn't been updated in 3 weeks." I can't get out.
My new iPad is stuck with a box "iCloud Backup: This iPad hasn't been backed up in 3 weeks..." I'm frozen out. The "OK" button doesn't work.

I have been transfeing my DVD footage to I movie using handbreak and the spinning wheel of death has arrived and locked up I movie as I tried to import footage. The message says, "Optimizing movies, processing event DVD" but I can't get out of it.
Yes I held them down till the apple logo appears, then spinning wheel and repeated boot up process. I only knew it was going round in circles because the charging sound kept repeating every so many seconds.
I am downloading iOS.5.0.1 now to do a complete factory restore. I hope this works. I have been looking online for hours for fixes and I have very little batter on it as its been spinning for hours now.
Why do things like this happen? I am sat there watching tv and one minute the settings folder is there then its not! How does that happen? It just disappear? I hadn't moved it to another folder or deleted it, it just.... went! -
My iPad mini has the following icloud backup message frozen on the screen. "this iPad hasn't been backed up in two weeks......" hitting ok or attempting to unlock does not work. Plugging in does not work.

When trying to upgrade and install OS X Mmavericks to my Macbook Pro as it started to install the computer stopped the install and now is stuck with the OS X Mavericks intall window showing and I can't get out of it or force quit? I can not do anything else because this is stuck with this window/install screen showing. I have tried everything to get back to my regular desktop. I do not want to wipe the drive because I have photos on it that I want to save. So if there is any way to bypass this installer and get back to my regular desktop I would greatly appreciate the help.

"Message hasn't been sent yet" problem
Truly bizarre. Since sometime today one of the three email accounts set up on my Z10 is unable to send email.
Instead of email being sent, it shows this icon in the Hub:
Which I see means "Message hasn't been sent yet"
I am at a loss to figure out:
a) why this started happening
b) how to fix it (force the message to send)
c) how to fix it (permanently)
Thunderbird on my Desktop machine can send from this account, so the problem is BlackBerry related.
The two other email accounts set up on the Blackberry can send fine.
All three accounts recieve OK.

With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT

Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive
2) Reboot
Pre-BB10 Devices ONLY. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
BB10 Devices. Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process. IF this fails, you can attempt the battery-pull method above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try deleting and re-adding your configurations for the affected email accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.

I am using Acrobat XI Pro and tried to install the current update. I got this error message: "Error 1328.Error applying patch to file C:\Config.Msi\pT64b3.tmp It has probably been updated by other means1 and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor." tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still get the error. Searched for C:\Config.Msi\pT64b3.tmp and cannot find the path or the file
For AA XI, you only need the 11.0.09 patch. Download from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows (Use "MAC" if a MAC is used).

Can you please CLEAN up the podcasts that are no longer in service or being maintained? It's very tedious to click on someone's podcast to find that it hasn't been updated in 3 years.

You are right, a lot of older dead podcasts do not belong in the podcasts section. But there is still a lot of these podcasts that have good information and deserve to still be listed. For example there is quite a few photography lesson based podcasts in which you can get good information from different sources. -

My mac hasn't been updated in a while and it randomly deletes itunes. Each time I download it again its back on an old version of itunes and most of my music disappears. I'm not sure if it's because it needs to be updated. please help
Use Spotlight and check how many copies of iTunes application you have on your computer.
It's unlikely it absolutely has to be updated. iTunes is either going to work under a certain system version or it isn't. I run a copy of iTunes dating from year 2007 on a computer dating from year 2002 with system software dating from year 2005 and I don't lose music. -
On iMessage on my mac it says my message hasn't been delivered but on my phone it says it has...
On iMessage on my computer it is saying the message hasn't been delivered but on my phone it says it has been... I presume my phone is correct but I'm not too sure. Also if this is an issue how do i resolve it because it's only happening with one person.
I am having the same problem. I sent a message from iMessage on my MacBook Pro last night and it still does not appear as Delivered, however, when I open Messages on my iPhone5, that same message DOES say Delivered.Was it delivered or not?
Other iMessages sent from both devices indicated Delivered on both devices before and after this particular text.
Message sent on MacBook Pro iMessage does not say Delivered. Appears as normal blue box. No alert that the message failed to send.
This message appears on iPhone5 Message application and DOES say Delivered.
This is the ONLY message with a problem. Other messages are and have been functioning as usual.

You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it. -
The Ipad came up with a notification, and can't get out of it. It's saying: Ipad not backed up. This Ipad hasn't been backed up.Backups happen when this Ipad is plugged in,locked, and connected to Wi-fi. When I press OK it can't continue. Please REPLY
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

The ipod is not a backup device. The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. the exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
Copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old comptuer, to your new one.
