  • Excel documents stuck on loading circle

I'm hoping this is the right forum, there wasn't a general Office Web Apps forum that I could see.
I have a user who is unable to open Excel documents from SharePoint 2010, the web app toolbars appear as they should but the content stops on the "loading" text with the circle.
The documents open fine if they select "Open in Excel" from the drop down when viewing the document library.
The web app works fine for the other 30 odd staff in the same department, but not for this one user (all their PC's are build identical).
I've tried an Office repair, renaming the OWSPUPP.DLL found in Office15 to that the OWSPUP.DLL is used from Office 14 (we have Office 2010 and Lync 2013), resetting IE, deleting all temporary files.
The last option is to rebuild the PC.

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that the excel files stucked on loading circle.
Did you active the feature Excel Services Application View Farm Feature and
Excel Services Application Web Part Farm Feature in the farm ?
We can active them, then check whether it works.
Did you use the IE 32bit? Make sure the IE version is 32bit.
You also can check with other browers, such as FireFox, Chrome, if so, we can use the following methods or reset the IE.
Use the Compatibility View Settings in IE. Open the IE->Tools->
Compatibility View Settings->add the site into Compatibility View, then check whether it works.
Add the site into Trusted sites. Opne the IE->Internet Options->Security->Sites->add the site into the Websites, then check whether it works.
What’s more, you can check the event log and ULS log to see if anything unexpected occurred.
To check event log, click the Start button and type “Event Viewer” in the Search box.
For SharePoint 2010, by default, ULS log is at
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS
You can check the ULS log by the methods here:

  • Stuck in Loading Circle!!

I have just tried to open "Find My Ipad" , but I am stuck in Loading Circle. Recovery Mode (pressing home and power buttons at the same time) worked but when I slide to unlock it happens again!  Help Me Please!    (Sorry for bad English )

    Your English is perfectly fine.
Close the Find my iPad app and then reset the iPad again.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the Find My iPad app, then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • MacBook Pro 2011- Allowed updates to install for iTunes software and Microsoft office (I think).  After rebooting, computer wouldn't progress past grey apple screen with loading circle.

I have a MacBook Pro 2011.  I allowed updates to install for iTunes software and Microsoft office (I think).  After rebooting, computer wouldn't progress past grey apple screen with loading circle.  No progression bar ever appeared.  It just sits and spins.  I tried rebooting with Command + Option + R + P and hearing the chime twice....this did not work.
I also tried Command +Option+R which took me to internet recovery.  From there, I chose reinstall Mac OS X Lion 10.7 but it says my hard drive is locked so I wasnt able to select it.  What do I do???? Help!  I don't want to lose my files and it doesnt appear that I've used Time Machine Back Up.

I you upgraded to OS X 10.8, then use RecoveryHD by holding Command R at boot time (no option) and reinstall OS X over itself that way so your installing  Mountain Lion.
Also Disk Uility can be used to Repair the Macintosh HD parttion.
Also you can use that RecoveryHD to format and install OS X onto a external drive, then option/alt key boot from it and access your files on the non-booting internal drive before erasing, reformatting and reinstalling OS X fresh.
Create a data recovery/undelete external boot drive

  • IPod touch 4g stuck on apple logo with loading circle

So here is the deal. I found an old iPod after it being lost for 3 years (i thought it was stolen, but it was actually in Texas in a car we sold to my aunt, that's a really long story). Anyways When i tried to charge it, it is stuck on the apple screen with a loading circle. I have reset it by using lock and home button, but that doesn't work. I saw where it says connect to iTunes, but when I try that iTunes wont let me use it because it has a password on it. And i cant get into the iPod to enter the password. Many things say to restore it, but i really don't want to do that because i believe it has pictures of my friend who died in a car wreck. If you can give me any advice on what to do, I will love you forever. THANKS!

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased. That is how it works even though it is not how you want it to work.

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

    For how to restore:
    iTunes: Restoring iOS software
    To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

  • Iphone stuck on loading circle, communicates well with Itunes, DFU or Restore doesn't help!

I replaced a cracked glass on my 3GS, 3 days ago, everthing went fine (have done a few of these) but when I switched my phone back on it would not boot correctly.
I am currently trying to restore the phone but not getting much success.
Tried both standard and DFU restore. All goes ok but then just sticks on either the Apple or rotating circle(same thing but with other logos if i jailbreake it). Itunes tells me that the SIM is PIN locked (this is correct) and need to enter code but phone screen still shows logo or loading circle, so i can't enter it.
It comunicates well with my computer and all modes are working to get in to. When i get in restore mode the apple-usb picture shows up on phone.
The LCD is working fine, the digitizer works.
So i have the same problem as many other, but fixes that fixes others problems doesn't work for me, i have tried many times.
So now i'm starting to believe it is a hardware problem, but i can't understand how it can be that.

Have google alot and pretty much allready given up, but thought i should test asking here before i do so.
It is not jailbroken now, and was only jailbroken in purpose to fix this, but i gues no one can't help me then.

  • Ipad stuck with icloud backup window - unable to access account

My iPad is stuck with the icloud backup window showing.
Both the Ignore button and the Settings button are ignored (they blink when I touch them, but nothing happens).
I cannot power off.  No other icons on the screen respond.
I plugged it in, but that did not change the symptoms.
The wi-fi is working just fine for all my wireless devices.
I have been hitting ignore to the icloud backup  notice for some time now since I changed my Apple Password as I have nothing on the iPad that I wish to back up.
Now it is unusable and I need it this afternoon for my facetime with my daughter in Australia.
    Help.
    Jim

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignor the off slider if it appear. Then turn the iPad back on using the On button.
Not sure if this will resolve the issue, but shouldn't hurt.

  • Power on, Apple with loading circle, power off.

    Okay so here's the scoop.
Out of the blue my iMac bogs down, as if it were frozen in time.
4 Gigs of ram and I can't listen to an MP3 without freezing.
I restart, only to find that the computer makes no sound when booting.
All it displays is the Apple logo on the soft grey-beige background, with a loading circle.
    then it shuts off.
There was one boot-attempt where I held down a key combination, only to find myself staring at a screen with a lock and a box for me to type what I can only assume was to be my password.
I tried every password I knew and ever used and it didn't work.
Since I restarted after that I haven't been able to do anything, no matter what key combination I hold down.

A couple of things here. That lock that you accessed (when you hold down the Option key at startup) indicates that Open Firmware Password is active. This a security feature that, I presume, you chose and will prevent booting up from any external source. (If that is what it is.)
With the symptoms on the way the computer is working, it may be that the hard disk has begun to self-destruct, or that there are maintenance concerns which will need some attention. That will require a startup with a disk (either installation or something like Disk Warrior).
I presume you have owned the computer from new? If not, the previous owner may have some information on the Open Firmware Password. There is a way to deal with this but I will not share this here: take it to an authorised service shop. They will know how.

  • My iphone is stuck on loading circle after erasing iphone from find my iphone

So one night i was just playing on a app and it froze, i waited about 5 mins and it was still frozen, so i turned off my iphone and from their is where all my problems started.  After waiting a long time for it to start up again my pressing my home button since my lock button is broke, i decided to look up ways on how to solve my problem.  What i found was i had to erase my phone from find my iPhone so i could restore my iphone in itunes.  Well, after erasing my iphone,, it just stayed on a black screen with the loading circle in the middle of it.  It won't connect to itunes either so i can restore it and i don't know what to do.  If you have any advice on what i should do please reply.

is it possible if my phone runs out of batter, i could plug it in and maybe the loading screen will be gone or can i really just do nothing about it

  • HT1414 Ipad stuck with Itunes logo and USB cable picture ??

    Hello to all,
My ipad is stuck with the iTunes logo and a picture of a USB cable with an arrow.Itunes is not recognizing my ipad, How do I get past this?

Not sure what the Script is in the previous reply, but perhaps it referred to the following kb's
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3281 ( note the link on the bottom on "restore" , use it if necessary).
You can also do a search online, or on this forum,  on "dfu mode" if the above doesn't work.

  • How to remove apple logo frozen with loading circle on phone

i cant remove apple logo i tried to reset phone pushing for ten sec and now it wont do anything just loading circle bar somtimes moves i have it on the charger when i connect to comptuer my computer is unable to find harware its like this for a week now on the charger frozen

Try to force your phone into recovery mode. Disconnect it from the computer's USB cord. Turn it off if you can by holding the sleep/wake switch until you see the red slide to off. If you can't turn it off, please continue. Press and hold the home button while plugging it into the computer's USB cord. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo. When you see "Connect to iTunes" on the screen, you can release the Home button and iTunes will display the recovery mode message.  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
Then you can restore your phone:  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414

  • IPad stuck on loading screen, won't move to recovery mode.

I tried to restore my iPad but it got stuck on the loading screen and it didn't change for 6 hours. I tried restarting it a couple of times - it showed me the normal apple logo but then it went back to the loading screen. The computer doesn't respond to the iPad and i hadn't been able to put in on recovery mode.
How do i turn my iPad back on? I don't mind stuff being deleted.

    Use recovery mode
You might need to use recovery mode to restore your device in these cases:
iTunes doesn't recognize your device or says it's in recovery mode.
You see the Apple logo onscreen for several minutes with no progress bar.
You see the Connect to iTunes screen.
Learn what to do if you see the progress bar onscreen for several minutes.
To put your device into recovery mode, follow these steps:
Turn off your device and leave it off.
Plug in your device's USB cable to a computer with iTunes.
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
When you see this screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 again.
When your device is connected, iTunes will open. You'll see a message saying that iTunes has detected an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore your device. Restoring in recovery mode will erase your device. If you previously synced with iTunes or iCloud, you might be able to restore from your backup.Get more help
Learn what to do if you don't see your device in iTunes for OS X, or in iTunes for Windows.
If you put your device into recovery mode by mistake, restart it. Or you can wait 15 minutes and your device will exit recovery mode by itself.

I have never had any problems with my iPad 2, until I uploaded iOS 8.1. Now, the circular load indicator in Safari never turns off, even after the page is loaded. This is draining the battery. I tried a restart, but the problem still exists. Help!
