Ipad Suddenly stuck in zoom

The problem started 2 days before. While ipad was charging overnight ( with ios 7.1.2 at that moment ) when i check it at the morning the screen was zoomed 50%...I thought a reset would fix the situation and to my surprise i saw half the apple in the boot screen...Nothing changed...I search online for the problem and these are the steps that i have followed..
1. Accessibility-zoom=off. Nothing happened still zoomed in
2. Tap three times with all the possible combinations( home button or on the whole surface of ipad), still zoomed in
3. Hard reset again.... Zoomed in
4. Update ipad to 8.1.2 still nothing. Zoomed in
5. Steps 1-3  again in new firmware still zoomed in.
So i don't know if there is something else i can do.....
All these manipulations were made in a zoomed ipad and every time i have got to turning it around so that i could find a sweet spot where i could select an option in menus....Trust me a very annoying and difficult situation....
Any advice would be appreciated....
Thanks....

Hey bak38,
So it sounds like you have a very frustrating situation with your iPad screen zoomed in, and it looks like you have done almost all of the troubleshooting possible. The next step I would suggest is to back up and restore your iPad. Follow the steps in this article -
Back up and restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using iCloud or iTunes - Apple Support
Test again after completed. If your issue persists, the next thing to try would be to restore your iPad to factory settings. Use the steps in this article -

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
Be well,

It won't turn off (though it will sleep), and triple tapping with 3 fingers, and tripple taping the home button rappidly won't work.  Please help

Try a reset, press and hold both the home and  power buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own. Also when in zoom if you put three fingers on the screen can you move the picture around ?

  • Lock screen and other app stuck on zoomed mode

I noticed that my lock screen is stuck on zoomed mode. When I'm in my home screen it's in standard view. Also I'm having the same issue with my apps. Apps like Pinterest, Tumblr, Swarm, Twitter looks fine but other apps like Facebook and Instagram are all stuck on zoomed mode. How do i fix this?

    Hello iankyliu,
It may be that the zoom accessibility feature has been enabled. The article linked below details how to go about turning it off.

Otherwise, it may be Display Zoom that's enabled, which is explained in the iPhone User Guide.

Seems to be a log in issue as keyboard works for forced troubleshooting. (And b/c when I first noticed the problem, I was able to enter my log in password but then everything sort of froze. Now, no ability to enter the password.) Already tried a basic restart and a cmmnd/ cntrl/ pwr troubleshoot to no effect.

  • IPad Mini stuck after iOS 8.0.2 update: How do I recover my data?

I purchased an iPad Mini with Retina display just before leaving on vacation 2 weeks ago and used it to take 100's of pictures.
While waiting for my return flight home I decided to apply the iOS 8.0.2 update. WHAT A MISTAKE!!! Now, my iPad is stuck in Recovery Mode and won't boot up. I tried different utilities (Mac FoneLab, RescuePhone, iPad Data Recovery, iFoneBox, ReiBoot), but none of them worked.
What can I do to recover my pictures? I have no backups.
Note: I set a simple passcode on my iPad. So, I think my data is encrypted (but I'm not sure).
    Thank you in advance
