IPad update: iOS 6.1.3

My iPad says it has an available software update to iOS 6.1.3 however whenever I click to upgrade it says the upgrade is unavailable at this time. I was just wondering why it won't upgrade.

It's probably due to the high volume on the internet today.
Give it some time and try again later.

Configurator, iPads update iOS will no longer connect to network

Managing 30 iPad 4s with Bretford cart, Mac Mini.
On a recent update to iOS 7.0.4, it seems that not all of my iPads took it nicely. Only 3 worked like I expected in fact, and function as they did before. 27 others will no longer connect to the network I had deployed as a package in Configurator. In fact, they went back to the beginning welcome / setup screen for the OS reload.
Is there something that I can try before I just set these all to erase and re-prepare them?

Update: I unplugged all, and manually plugged in one iPad.
I unsupervised, and prepared it again, reloaded all the apps, and got the same result.
Once the iPad shows up in Configurator as prepared, and in my supervised list, it seems good to go: BUT
as soon as I turn it on, it shows me the "Hello" welcome screen, asks to join the network, and seems to freeze. The iPad goes to sleep without it receiving a connection.

I just completed the latest ipad update(ios 6), i've been trying to update my apps and the apple account showing on my ipad belongs to my daughter. i dont know what happened to my account.

Basically you make sure you iTunes is up to date. Then you plug your iPad in, open iTunes, click on the name of your device. THen I'd do a backup. Then download and install the update (you'll see a update button in iTunes)

If it's an Intel Mac, you can upgrade it to Mac OS X 10.6.8.
If it's a PowerPC Mac, you need to use these instructions and/or iTunes Match to put content on the iPad.

Usually 'authentication required' means that you need to submit a username (or e-mail address) and password to the e-mail server, when sending a message. This logic is not different between Outlook and Thunderbird, and even with the latest and previous version of Thunderbird.
Of course you can try the previous version again to see if it solves the problem, although you'll be less secure because you would be missing the latest fixes.

Brain battery on IPad affter update ios 8.1.2

I am using IPad 4, wifi, 16G. After i update ios to ios 8.1.2, it drains my battery. I use ~ 5 minutes, it has been worst with this drain faster by ~10%.

Look into the notifications. There are often a lot defaulted to on that you may not need. And don't just look in the notification center, also look in the apps themselves - settings, general, scroll down and explore each app's privacy and notification setting.
Also look to background app refresh and background app update.
You may eventually need to restore your device - which is basically backing it up and using iTunes to restore the software - aka install it fresh, especially if you did your update over the air. Sometimes a fresh install helps - and if you back it up you'll lose nothing but time the data can be put back onto the device from the backup.

I've just updated my iPad to iOS 7.02 and I'm not able now to download new apps nor update the version of the existing ones. All of them are "waiting"... for ever.Even, when trying to download a new app, a "dratf" icon appears on the ipad, not the app's own icon...
I've tried to switch off and on the iPad, disconnect and reconnect the itunes id... and nothing works. Even deleting an app, to download it again, doesn't work. It even doesn't ask for my password!!! (Stays with the small square with a circle around, the one that gets "bolder" while downloading... but it doesn't get bolder now. Just stay...).
Any suggestions? I wouldn't like to reset the iPad, since I've got data in some apps that I wouldn't like lo loose...
By the way, I can not either delete some apps with thos "draft" icons... even when the alert that appears when trying to do that is shown and select "ok".

Thank you, Once_was_lost, but it doesn't work either. I tried it yesterday as an option (I think you're referring to the options of those apps in the settings app).
The problems are still here... I've been able to update some apps using the PC itunes (connecting the app to it), but all the other apps are still "wating", and I have two new strange things:
* I cannnot remove the apps that are downloading (at least those that are supposed to be downolading ) . But I could remove one from the PC... and now there is an "empty line" in the "to update apps list".
* Stranger: though I cannot download new apps or music from the store, I can do in-app purchases!!! In that case, I'm asked for the password and the item downloads. How is it possible?????
I can download with the same user in the PC, in the iPhone... but not in the iPad .
I'm getting mad...

I updated my ipad into ios 7 but when i want to connect to a network an error cames that says unable to join this network!And another thing is the button of the restriction code is on(my parents did nothing it's sunddenly like this) ! what shoould I do?

I'm having an continued issue with my phone/ipad 2 and updating it.
I've tried (unsuccessfully) 7 or 8 times to update my iphone 4s with the latest update (iOS 6.1.2) but it gets 30 minutes in to the update and then an error message comes up (error 9006) and it gives me no option but to click ok and it.
I've tried using different USB cables, different ports in my laptop, even uninstalling I Tunes and reinstalling and starting again - nothing seems to work.
I've contacted my network provider who's referred me to Apple but they are closed (I'll try again during business hours).
I'm updating it on my laptop using an internet dongle (as i dont have WIFI - All updates have been done like this and i've never had a problem before) and I have windows 7 software..
Is there anyone who's encountered the same issue?
Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated?

I can't update my 3rd generation ipad to ios 8

I want to update my 3rd generation iPad to iOS 8 through the OTA update. I have enough space as it requires 5.8GB and I have almost 10 GB. I clicked on download and install. It did download the iOS update file and then it says, "Preparing Update." In that part, it is very slow and suddenly it freezes then reboots my device to apple logo. When it goes back, it still says, "Preparing Update" and then it will freeze again and reboot. I don't know what to do. I want to have iOS 8 so bad. I have enough space and I don't run apps on the background. I have this problem over a day now. I even tried deleting the iOS 8 file and re-download it but same thing happens. Any suggestion or advice? Thanks in advance.

Please do not post the entire messages log as it takes up unnecessarily a lot of space. It seems that there is a corrupt/nonfunctional file called
[email protected]nt.plist
Go to your hard drive, enter library, go into users, and go into launch agents and delete the thing above. Empty the trash and restart.
