IPad Viewing Direction

My iPad recently has been automatically rotating upside down in the direction of my viewing direction. How do I set the iPad to automatically rotate in the direction of my viewing direction. Thank you for your assistance.

Close all the apps and restart the iPad ,this should help the problem.
This problem would have occured due to improper ram clearance ,it will be fine after the restart.

Hello,
per request of client i've tried to change one string in viewer for iPad. So i've created template in DSP App Builder, modified this template on my computer, choose this file in App Builder and prepared another build (V28). Unfortunately, i still see old original string (i've double tested that i'm downloading new version of app). When i now check DPS App Builder, it just says "Asset stored on server", so i asume, that everything goes smoothly on this side.
Any similar experience with customized strings?

That's odd. It worked for me when I tested it. Perhaps you should try moving the current xml file to a different folder, downloading a new version, copying and pasting, and rebuilding.

It is not easy to perform DML operations on complex views which involve more than one table as said by vissu. The reason being you may not know which columns to be updated/inserted/deleted on the base tables of the views. If it is a simple view containing a single table it is as simple as performing actions on the table.

Calling a BSP application's View directly

Hello,
I am using BAB to simplify 'Maintain Opportunity' BSP. After the simplification, when calling the BSP in portal, I could not call the view 'ACT_LEAN' directly. I can see only the standard BSP in the portal and not the changed one. Following are the parameters I am passing to the portal:
BSP application: CRM_BSP_FRAME
Start Page: entrypoint.do
application parameters: appl=CRMD_BUS2000111&blview=ACT_LEAN&sap-syscmd=nocookie
I have also activated the whole tree where all these bsps are in the xn 'sicf'
Any advice on how to call the view directly is appreciated.

what you need to do is
1) for the "Send" button attach a java script.

then in the javascript create the URL.

Not very easily no. If you can get a non-reflective screen cover it might be a bit better, but it probably still won't be as good as, for example, a Kindle device is.

Hi Madhu,
In EP 7.0 the Direct Editing has been removed and the same can find in config tool.
Login into Config Tool, Select Server --- services --- com.sap.security.core.ume.service and then edit the properties accordingly which requires portal restart to reflect it.
Check it once and do let me know if you have any clarifications

You will need to connect it to your computer's iTunes (you will need an up-to-date version of iTunes on your computer), and you should then be able to reset your iPad and restore/resync your content to it

Lightroom and an iPad viewer app

Hello,
I was looking at the iPad as a photography aid tool, for tethered shooting. Basically, I usually shoot tethered with a notebook. But there are situations, where it's just not doable to have the clients at the notebook. I'd rather use a WiFi Tether on my Canon camera ( wireless transmitter ) to the notebook... and use the notebook as a server for image viewing and rating by clients, who could be sitting further away from shooting location. Or, as it sometimes happens in interior design shoots, leave the notebook sitting in a room, while moving around with the camera. And the iPad would come with me, much easier and simpler to carry around than even a light notebook.
Or even capable of solo tethering via WiFi a camera in JPEG+RAW mode ( I'm pretty sure viewing RAW files on the iPad would be asking for a bit too much ) for viewing, rating, and reviewing at 100% for focus, lighting and so on. Again, much more portable for location work than any notebook I can think of.
I noticed Phase One released such an App, [url=http://www.phaseone.com/capturepilot]Capture Pilot[/url], to be used alongside Capture One.
Is there word of any such app by Adobe to be used teamed up with Lightroom or solo ? :|

I've been having an issue with my new ipad mini not charging even when its plugged in using the mains adapter unless I plug it directly into the wall. This is a bit inconvienient as I don't have enough sockets and I like to use my ipad as a clock radio with TuneIn so when I wake up my battery is about 40% even though its been plugged in overnight.

This is unclear and confusing...

Viewing Direct Deposits made to vendors

Currently we can view when checks have been issued to a vendor. We can see what the check number is, when it was issued and when it was cleared. We can not find a transaction to show when a Direct Deposit was made to a Vendor.
I am talking about the end user being able to research without having to call the A/P Department. Is there a tranaction code for this?
Currently we use ME23N and drill down through to see the check information when a vendor states they haven't received payment.

1. First find out whether the REGUH table for the PRE DME run has correct enteries . Note the sequence number and assignment number for one employee from REGUH
2. Check the BT table in RT for the above Pernr , Seqnr, assignment number.
3. If its Off cycle, find out whether the other payment method (check) was selected in the PUOC_10 screen.
4. If not, go to se16 and check the all the records in PA0009 for one employee.
5. If you still unable to figure out, then simulate the same payroll again and expand the log and find out the P0009 function.
6. Check the net processing logic.

Yes, there is a difference. But your question was does that difference matter. In my opinion, the difference on a small screen is not enough to justify the additional expense and download time. I suspect that this may be a matter of personal preference. You might want to try an HD movie and see if it wows you enough to be worth it.

You may change this under settings, mail-contacts and-calander. Are you try to use stock iOS mail app? if this doesn't work, you can use Gmail app from the App store to make it easy.
