IPad volé

Mon iPad a été volé et j'ai bien sûr activé la localisation en utilsant mon compte icloud. iPad a été allumé je pense par le voleur, vu la confirmation sur mon mail mais impossible de le localiser, comment ça se fait?

IPad désactivé suite à un vol

Bonjour, mon iPad a été désactivé par moi même lorsqu'on me l'a volé. Aujourd'hui la police me l'a rendu mais sur l'écran s'affiche *iPad désactivé réessayez dans 22 535 206 minutes*....
Je n'arrive pas à le connecter sur iTunes et je ne sais pas comment le ré-activer.

depuis n'importe quel ordinateur, il te suffit de te connecter sur icloud.com > localiser mon iPhone.
Si l'option était bien activée, tu pourras localiser, faire sonner, afficher un msg et/ou éffacer à distance ton iPhone & ton iPad .... si ils sont connectés sur internet !

Looking for a PDF app for iPad

Hi,
I'm sure I'm not the only one who's thought of this so I'm a believer that someone has created an app to help me and I can't find it!
Pretty much, I'm looking for an app that will allow me to edit PDF's on my ipad and then send it (Via WiFi or Bluetooth) to my laptop.
For example:
Drawing a graph on my ipad, with detailed information, sending that to my macbook and then adding/inserting it to my PDF file on my laptop
(Like getting a notification on my mac, loading it, draging it to my pdf, and vola!)
If there is such a thing can someone help me out (If not feel free to take my idea and makes some money off of it, just let me know that you did!)

It takes care of all my needs
I'm not sure about sending via Wifi or Bluetooth but I send them via e- mail all the time
Possibly it could handle your needs as well
Just type it into the App Store search field and the first one that comes up is the one I use
Jump on over there and read up on it before buying and see if it will help you

My ipad is no longer playing sounds on some games

My ipad is not playing sounds for most of my games but for apps like netflix it does. i have checked settings and vol is all the way up. i also noticed that when i slide the bar to unlock after it goes into rest mode i don't hear the clicking sound anymore. anyone have anything like this happen? i tried shutting it down and started it back up its still not working

You have system sounds muted.
If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

IPad 3 ios 6.0.1 Causing camera kit issues

Hi there,
I would like to point out that earlier this month we got an update for the iPad 3 to iOS 6.0.1, which I promptly updated mine. Everything was working fine, until yesterday.
Yesterday I had clicked few snaps during the evening and wanted to edit the same on my iPad 3 and transfer the same via the apple SD Card reader camera kit which I have just recently bought a month back. When I connected the SD card reader to the iPad 3, guess what nothing showed up, usually the photo app comes up with the SD photographs.
Apparently the SD card was not recognized by iPad itself. I thought the SD card was faulty so I switched over to the USB connection kit and connected my Nikkon D3000 to the iPad 3 over the usb cable, and guess what, nothing happened here either.
This brought me to the point that, how can both of the connection kits won’t work at the same time, and then it struck me that I had recently done and iOS update to 6.0.1 and that could be one of the possibilities of it not working properly. Normal function of Apple is to kill the old version of the kits / connectors / docks when there is an update of the software, that’s what I have seen and suffered in the past with my docks.
Since my cousin also has an iPad camera kit but is using an iPad 2 with iOS 6.0.1, I used his kit on his iPad 2 and to my wonder the SD Card reader read my memory card and showed up all the photos on the photo app. So I then used his SD Card kit on my iPad 3, after 2 - 3 tries it worked. So at that point I imported all the pics I required.
Now I switched back to my SD CARD READER and tried it on my iPad 3, vola it worked, but it took it time to show up. With few more tries of removing and inserting the connector kit again to check, it worked every single time. I guess the kit I am using got hung or something and just required another one to clean / remove the hang/bug.
Now I wanted the usb connector to work as well, so I used a usb 2 gb Sandisk fat32 formatted stick and made a DCIM folder and added few files from my computer and tried it on, and this time the iPad 3 read the usb stick and showed me the few files on it.
After which I tried to connect the SD CARD reader again to check if it would work after the usb connection, it worked but was apparently showing me the usb stick files on the screen rather than the SD Card pics. On re inserting it, it came back to normal. Same thing happened when I tried the usb connection next time, it would show the SD Card files and not the USB files, but with reinserting it would solve the problem.
And this is the issue I am facing at present, if I use the SD CARD reader first and import my files, the next connection via USB or again SD CARD or via USB and camera cable, it will first show me the images of the previous connection and not the current ones. I have to reinsert it again to clear the old file cache and to show me the new current pics which I want to import fresh.
Soo could you please advice me on the follow:
Why did the connectors did not work at first on the iPad 3 ?
Could there be a bug in the iOS 6.0.1 for the iPad 3, as this problem is not seen on iPad 2?
Do advice.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

My shared iTunes library shows up fine on my Apple TV, but when I try to access the same library on my iPad to view the shared TV Shows everything jumbled and all over the place. There does not seem to be any order and many shows are missing.

When trying to access the shared iTunes library of my Macbook Pro on my iPad(iOS 5.1) the TV Shows are all mixed up. Some shows are not even displayed. The same library display normally via my Apple TV. It appears that iPad using iOS 5 has lost the ability to recoginize that TV Shows have a main show title followed by a number of episodes eg., 'Top Gear', Season 17, Episode 1 to 6, and 'Modern Marvels', Vol lll, Episodes 1 to 16. This has to be a glitch with iOS 5 as it was working fine in previous OS versions.
Does anyone know if Apple is aware of this anomally or is there a work-around? Thanks

So, where is the recently released Sopranos collections, The Sopranos Vol. 2: Seasons 4-6?

Considering both Vol. 1 & 2 just released days ago, I figured that I didnt have to rush out and buy both sets right away. Makes sense that I had time to watch Vol 1 before laying out another 50 odd bucks for the second half of the set.
Guess I was wrong, now it seems that both sets are gone from itunes store. Another example of Apples disinterest in keeping its paying customers happy. Wow, considering the number of shortsighted, BS moves made by apple in the last 18 months, not to mention my less than steller personal experience both as a corporate & retail client (currently 3 macs & 2 devices in various state of disfunction, and countless time wasted "fixing" machines with problems stemming from apples controlling policies and/or premature software releases...).
*iPhone4 - Still no Siri...nice. BTW, its out of order for a week, and just too busy to fix it lately. Go figure...
*iPad 3 - bought two just to see the new model roll out well ahead of planned timelines "unexpectedly"
*MacBookPro (had no choice but buy the fully stocked model at a $700 premium since my local Apple store only stocked one make with the Hi-res screen option...bought 30 days before the retina model release..). Hard Drive crashed within 5 months, Apple to replace but not allow for any options for returning my defunct drive for data recovery (yeah, I should have been prepared for this, as my new MacMini HD failed within 9 months..)

* OSX Lion...If you dont know, better ask somebody about this abortion of a OS..
* OSX Lion Server...First 3 months so buggy this "server" software wouldnt allow PC's on the network to access the server..Nice..
* Mt Lion, cant complain, but not so excited to use its sexiest features having read the EULA that states Apple "needs" access to my private files to operate functionalities to the Cloud that should be viable locally.
* iCloud, gave up trying to maintain its functionality with MSFT Outlook...Kind of important for business users to have a working calendar....
* Countless buggy apps, fallout of the Apple / Google war. Selfish corporate practices considering you have our money, but havent followed through with basic expectations that your products "work".
Please tune back in and get a clue, boys.

How do I mute iPad 2 completely with a one touch button?

I have switched to mute on 1. The physical mute switch, apparently only for notifications 2. The up, down volume button, pressing and holding the down button.
Thinking that it's on mute, I clicked on a video clip during a meeting and Lo and behold, the clip played with sound! WTH! later I double clicked on the home button and the vol there was not on mute! Is my unit faulty?? And is there anyway I can fix a one step button to COMPLETELY mute my iPad 2? Don't want to check 3 steps just to make it mute.

I am begging Apple to allow an additional audio setting for Mute All Audio Unconditionally. In my line of classical music work, I absolutely cannot be worrying about accidental music outbursts or alert sounds. I shouldn't have to use a dummy plug. Volume Off should simply mean Volume Off; I can't imagine any other audio device in the history of music playback equipment not working like this.

i was facing same issue, i solved this way
on general settings there are two options for the button above the volume buttons (lock button) the options are as folles
bock rotation
silence
if you have the button on to mute the ipad will never sound incoming facetime calls
i set the button to bock rotation and now it rings my facetime
