Ipad WiFi Problem

Hey guys can anyone help i have downloaded APP Sky Mobile Tv on IPAD
when i play Sky it will let me play Sky Sports for exactly 1 hour and it just stops playing until i start off the APP again starts again for 1 hour again and stops again
Modem is working for everything else computers etc no problems only with IPAD with this Sky App
WIFI working fine other than this problem with sky sports app
i've RESET and RESTORED ipad still have problem
Rang sky told there was no problem on their side
IPAD 64G 3G

Thanks lllaass for your support
I think I have a network problem with the router or the app is set up this way
I've tried the iphone 4 as well and have had the same problem as the iPad that it will stop the video after 1 hour of play so it cant be the devices that both are the same when playing
Until I start the app to play again
Wondering is it within the app that it does this only on WiFi as when on the 3G network it works fine without stopping
Thanks again

  • Ipad Wifi problem after 7.1.2 update

Hey there! I noticed a big problem after updating my Ipad Air (Wifi Only) to iOS 7.1.2
When I put the device on standby It disconnects from the Wifi network, so I don't receive any push notification. Then when I start using the iPad again, the device reconnects immediately to the Wifi.

Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

  • IPad wifi problem 5.01

    Hi,
Just got a new iPad 2 as my old one's home button broke. My problem is that wifi is acting very oddly. I can connect for a while and then it disconnects. If I try and reconnect it does not find any wifi networks. Then the wifi option in settings becomes greyed out and says 'no wifi'. Resetting the network settings sometimes brings it back and I can connect again. However, after a short period it disconnects and does the same all over again.
    Any ideas?
    Running 5.01

    Emerty...
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset All Settings
Then the wifi option in settings becomes greyed out
If nothing helped try here >  iOS: Wi-Fi or Bluetooth settings grayed out or dim

  • Ios 7.1 ipad wifi problems

Since updating my ipad 2 to ios 7.1 I am unable to connect to my wifi. I have tried all the fixes found on the community discussions. Nothing works!   I need my ipad and when it's down I'm losing money!  I'm sure other ipad users are haviing the same problems .....please help!

Reading through the various threads it seems that there is a serious problem of wifi connectivity with some iPads.
For example the one I am using now drops the wifi connection every few minutes.
My partner, sitting next to me, has no problem whatsoever with her iPad.
I have seen co called 'solutions' such as changing router settings, etc., but this doesn't explain how all the other Android phones,PC's, wifi enabledq printers, etc., that are connected to the same network, do not experience this problem.
I've tried calling Apple to no avail and I see that one of the threads on here has now reached 140 or so pages, all about the same problem.
I called Apple again today and they actually hung up on me, after keeping me on hold for 3-4 minutes.
I guess it is time for some drastic action.
I'm now trying to find out who Apple use as their accreditation body for the international Quality Assurance Standard, ISO 9001.
As part of this policy they should have a well defined and recorded Customer Complaint procedure, and should be able to demonstrate how they deal with customer complaints.
Hanging up on customers isn't really a recognised method!
I am also taking this up with Trading Standards here in the UK, as the iPod I have is not really fit for purpose due to the fact it drops any wifi connection after a few minutes.
I used to consider Apple a reputable and ethical company but no longer hold that view.
It isn't simply that that they will not deal with this problem; there appear to be many thousands of people out there in the same situation and Apple don't appear to be even acknowledging this problem.
I urge people to take the same action if possible. Find out who Apple use for ISO 9001 and write to or email them with a complaint that Apple's customer complaint procedure does not appear to be working.
These large corporates tend to take things that much more seriously when they think they may lose their Quality accreditation.
Steve Jobs wouldn't have tolerated this sort of situation!

  • IPad Wifi Problem Fix

When my iPad was getting disconnected and nothing worked, I tried unplugging my modem then my router and letting them sit for 10 seconds and then starting it back up. It worked!

That's fine, l but I can't find where to change the WPA.  Any chance you could tell me how to get there on an iMac? Sorry to be so hopeless (and I don't see why I have to do this anyway, since I am paying for the vdxl service!)
I had several conversations with Spark broadband help and they had no idea how to fix this and hadn't heard of it until today.  The suggestion I got today was to reset the modem - it didn't work.
    Thanks

  • Wifi problems with new ipad

I'm trying to learn how to correct wifi problems with new iPad.  It is the wifi only, 64GB model.  I want to be able to use it at work, where we have a great wifi network.  I can usually connect to our network with no problem, but after an hour or so my iPad loses the network.  When I try to reconnect, I see that the network is showing full strength reception, but I get the error message from the iPad that I am "Unable to join" the network.  My iPhone connects to the same network seamlessly, as do all of the other iPhones of my co-workers and the older generation iPads that some of our staff has.
At other locations, I typically have no problems (home, apple store, etc.) but I have had the same situation pop up at a coffee shop where I could see that there was a wifi network available, but I could not join it even though it was the shop's free wifi.
I have tried turning the iPad off, turning off wifi and turning it back on again, and forgetting the wifi network in question.  I can't think of any other methods that are available to an end user to correct the problem.
I have already gone to the Apple store to swap out the unit, and the newer one is having the same symptoms.
Can anyone offer any advice here?  This is quite frustrating.

No problem! Have a read at this most interesting article which has special significance as regards your models!

  • How do I know if I have a wifi problem with my new iPad 3 (it seems very slow) and how does one address the problem with apple if there is one?

I just read about the possible issue that some folks are having with their new iPad wifi (my seemed to be running very slowly but I thought that perhaps it was just me overreacting).  How do I know if I have a definite problem, and what is my recourse?  Do I need to take it to an Apple store for testing?  I have apple care which I assume addresses stuff like this.  Thoughts?  Thx so much.

Your iPad is covered by the normal warranty for one year. If you have AppleCare that extends the coverage. If you feel there is a problem with your wifi reception visit an Apple store with your iPad for a consultation. Be sure to make an appointment before you go.

After upgrade to iOS 8 and after to 8.0.2 I can't use my iPad because of wifi problem

I am having a similar experience.  Since upgrading my Ipad 2 to iOS 8 and then iOS 8.0.2 I have not been able to use wifi consistently and it is very frustrating.  I can no longer watch any video because the wifi shuts down and won't come back without a complete reboot of the iPad. And forget about consistent bluetooth!  My ipad worked perfect before the "upgrade" to iOS 8 and beyond but now it is really worthless.  I have spent a lot of time and have tried every fix that I have read about online and NOTHING has corrected the problems created by the upgrade.  After spending a lot of time trying to resolve this I am certain the problem is the buggy "upgrade" but I feel like no one at Apple is listening.  I have always loved Apple products but this rotten Apple experience is making me think about exploring what else is out there.  Apple folks, I recommend getting this fixed quick or your stockholders won't be smiling!

  • Downloading and Installing Problem of IOS 4.2  to IPad Wifi 3G 64 GB

    Hi there,
I've tried downloading and installing IOS 4.2 trough ITunes to my IPad Wifi 3G 64 GB, but it always failed.
Could someone tell me how to do it? The error message said that it took too long to download IOS 4.2 (12 Minutes) and the server has denied the action.
    Thanks.

    Hi IIIaass,
I've done as your suggestion. My IPad and IPod Touch have the IOS 4.2 updates now. I'm very happy. Thank you again.
I never thought that I would forget the fact that before downloading some software from Internet, I should disable my antivirus, firewall, anti spyware and cos.
Now, if you don't mind for another question. Do you know why ITunes with Windows 7 has (PC) problem to recognize my whole songs I have in ITunes with Widows Vista (Notebook)? It is around 200 titles, which are missing.

  • IPad WiFi Connection Problems - WiFi Symbol Appears With Full Bars but I Don't Get A Checkmark?

I was using the iPad one day and then all of a sudden it stopped connecting to the internet. The network at this hotel is very good and I've asked them about their router so it is not the router's problem.
I go to the Settings and tap on Wi-Fi then I tap on the hotel network. After a few seconds, it says the network name beside the Wi-Fi tab and it gives me the WiFi symbol showing 3 bars. But then I never get the checkmark or tick saying everything is connected. I try going online and it says the iPad is not connected to the internet. I've tried an iPhone and it connected and got a checkmark in a few seconds. I've talked to the front desk and he took out his phone and showed me that he could connect, he even opened a page without any problems at all.
I've been trying to find a solution for this for a long time. I've been searching Google over and over again. I turned Airplane Mode on for 1 minute, I've tried Resetting my Network settings, I've tried forgetting the network and reconnecting again, I've tried removing all restrictions from the iPad, I've rebooted the iPad A LOT, etc.
So this is my problem for people who don't want to read the whole message:
    1. I can't connect to the internet with the iPad
    2. It shows the WiFi symbol saying its connected but I never get the checkmark or tick.
    3. It's not the router problem.
    4. I've tried other networks and it doesn't work. It just keeps on showing that loading circle right beside the network name.
    5. Do any of you know what this problem is? Or do you have a solution?
Thank you for reading this and have a great day
