IPad with HDTV turner

I'm setting myself away from the Internet masses because everything must go through the Wi-Fi. I hope to see a new version of iPad in the near future with a HDTV turner built-in. I know you can watch TV streams from YouTube, Sling and UstreamTV and other related Internet streaming service. I don't want that. I like to view the local over-the-air TV broadcast when I'm on the road to different cities. I know there's EyeTV and am using it. With iPad, I like to see one that turner is built-in that would be less stuff to carry around in my backpack.
Just a thought.

I would consider this to be highly unlikely. Including an OTA TV receiver would almost certainly make the battery life far too short, and any useful antenna would probably not fit in an iPad's case. Finally, the number of people who would want such a feature in an iPad would probably be far too few for Apple to justify the engineering and extra cost.

You set up the smart cover function in settings (you did that, right?) so, if you did that and it's failed you make an appointment at your nearest Genius Bar now.

YOU ARE IN RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

I later learned that this was the recovery screen so I tried to put it out of the recovery mode by pressing the home button and power button simultaneously, but the screen kept on returning back to the recovery screen. I could not restore the iPad 2 on iTunes either, so I downloaded Tiny Umbrella 5.10.01 and tried to save the shsh. However, under the recovering devices section on the left side, my iPad did not appear and I only got a device titled ?18092..... I tried to save the shsh of this ?18902... anyways but this did not work. So, I clicked on the device and pressed the exit recovery but then my iPad2 screen went black with a white apple logo in the middle. This logo keeps on dimming and disappearing and even when I plug my iPad 2 to the computer, neither my iTunes nor the Tiny Umbrella notice it. I need urgent help!

At this point only a restore will fix your issue.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.

If Find my iPad was never set up then scroll down & follow the directions under Recovery Mode:
Forgot passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
If it was and the activation lock is triggered, then you will need to know the original Apple ID & password that her grandkids used to set it up or have them sign into iCloud & remove the device from Find My iPad before you can Restore it.

My iPad will not turn on. I have tried to reset, with no results. I have also tried to restore from iTunes, but it could not recognize the iPad.

HT1766 I tried restore on my iPad and it gives me errors, and my iPad will not turn on i only see iTunes with a cord.

I did a restore on my IPAD the first one out, and it took everything off my ipad and I can't get it back. My IPAD now does not have my apps. It just shows the Itunes icon and the cord. Please advise me on how to get everything back on my IPAD.
