IPad with iOS 8.2 does not show AirPlay share to

When Reflector is running om Windows 8.1 and iPad4 with iOS 8.2 Airplay share is not showing.
Any suggestions?

I did have an issue with some photos from my iPhone not syncing to the iPad. My solution was to move those to a new album, sync that, delete that from device, move photos back to original album, delete original album from device, sync original album to device. Some nonsense like that. In short, create a new album with the problem photos and try to sync that.

iOS 7 Calendar does not show appointments imported as VCS files in Microsoft Outlook / Exchange in Windows 7. I discovered this when downloading itinerary.vcs files from Delta to mark flights in my calendar. The work around I found is as follows:
Open the VCS file, this will create a Calendar entry in your Outlook,
Open the created Outlook Calendar entry, go to File -> Save As and then select to save as ICS file.
Delete original VCS-created appointment in your calendar to avoid multiple calendar.
Open the re-saved ICS file.
Appointment will now correctly synchronize with your iPhone iOS 7 calendar.
If anyone has better alternatives to this process, please help out. Hopefully, Apple will fix this with the next iOS update.

I've entered the events more than twice and it all shows up in the OSX calendar but not on my iphone.

Just tested it works even 3 years ahead.

Interesting. Googling, I see that someone posted that on these discussions as well:

which mentions what I recall: that Airdrop (as implemented by Apple) would create an on-demand ad-hoc Wi-Fi connection, even if you were already connected to an access point. Normally, you can't connect to multiple Wi-Fi networks, thus the reason for Airdrop only supported on newer Wi-Fi chips.

Part of my iPad screen display does not show. It was not dropped and neither is the screen broken. I was advised to see the local service provider for a diagnosis.
I had finally managed to find time to find a local service provider last week (not easy) and was disappointed to be advised of Apple's policy of one for one exchange i.e. they wont repair and said that i would have to replace with a whole unit. As my unit is no longer under warranty, it meant that I had to pay for the full price of a new unit!
I might as well have paid for the latest new unit but since my unit is only 2 years old at most, it would be a great waste of money.
How can this be? Does this mean apple's product is inferior and do not last since warranty is only for one year?
I sincerely hope there is a favourable solution otherwse my money is flushed down the drain.

I was using my iPad last night, shut the power off and when I turned it on this morning 2/3 of the screen is not working. It looks like the pandalela picture. What is the answer to fix this; is this a screen issue or and electronics issues. Has anybody else experienced this?

When I do an "edit in" using CS5 and save it, the edited file does not show up in my LR4 preview window.

There are two distinct modes by which Edit In... may first open an image into PS: as a fully pre-converted rendered file; or as an on-the-fly converted image in memory.
(When LR opens a PS-edited image a second time into PS, using "Edit Original", the former option is always used.)
In the latter case, it is ACR which does this on-the-fly conversion, working from the original image (as imported into LR) plus your subsequent LR adjustment metadata. This means ACR compatibility with LR becomes an issue - as it is not, with the pre-rendered file option.
There is a useful clue to which mode is being used:
the title of the PS document window, in the case of the on-the-fly conversion, still shows the name of the Raw file (or whatever) that you started with in LR... no file has been saved as yet, to say any different. You can Save or Save as, wherever and under whatever name, and from now on LR will look there for your edited image. Or if you close unsaved, LR has no edited image to show at all.
the title of the PS document window in the pre-rendered case, is the name of a file already saved on disk and already showing in LR. If you then saved this elsewhere, you would merely make a duplicate which LR cannot know about - and if this duplicate is the one which contains your PS work, LR will accordingly not show that. It is busy showing the content of the specific file that was passed to PS.
So, if inside CS5 your document is called something like IMG23334.dng - you can save it wherever you like. If inside CS5 your document is called something like IMG23334-edit.tif - you will have to save your changes back to that exact same file, in order for them to be seen in LR.

It opens other sites alright. Maybe I missed setting things up right. It seems to do everything.

The site is based on Flash, and there is no Flash Player for the iPad and almost certainly never will be, Adobe having dropped all development of Mobile Flash for any platform, so you cannot view that site natively on your iPad. You can try one of the app/service combinations for playing Flash such as Skyfire , Puffin, or iSwifter. One of those might work for you, though they all have limitations and do not work with all Flash-based sites and services

Do you have iTunes running on your computer and did you did tap on the More Button at the bottom of the Music app to get to the Shared Tab?
After you tap on the Shared button you will be able to select your iTunes library or the iPad library in the next window. After you select the one that you want to use, a red checkmark will appear next to the library that you chose.

SO what you are saying the AirPlay icon is not visible until you have an airplay device active to hook up to,
this seems quite a ridiculous logic most people wouldn't even know they have AirPlay and what it is as it doesn't pop up anywhere in settings or on screen, seems to be a poor marketing decision again by Apple. When I bought my $1000 device I expected to be able to wifi to printers direct and to mirror to other devices without all this mess.

Why not install and try Firefox portable, it may well be a good troubleshooting step. Try running it from an external memory stick.

I try not to use Windows but certainly at one stage a rule of thumb was 20-25% free space should be available. Under about 12% defragging of a disk would likely fail. A page file would need to be larger than the amount of RAM maybe 1.5X , and a hibernate file would be the size of the RAM.

#Do a full scan with multiple and up-to-date anti-malware tools. Do not rely on Avast alone. No tool picks up everything. Report back what you scanned with and what was found.

HT4623 How do i update an older ipad's IOS? It does not want to connect to server.

How do I update an older IPAD? When I go to update it gives me a message regarding it cannot connect to the apple server, yet internet service is okay.

IPhone 4G syncing with iTunes The screen does not show my phone number and backs up to an old file from four months ago.

iOS 6.0 was available this week, so I updated my iPhone 4S. At first it showed a long yellow (other bar) of 10GB, then took the entire day to update my photos (about 20,000 of them. So I tried restoring the phone and the message on iTunes was that I had restored from a different phone. Now I cannot get my phone number to show up on the summary page of iTunes. It says n/a.
And it restores from a backup in June. And those are locked. Any ideas how to get back up to date?
