IPad won't load website images

I am trying to load a website on my iPad using safari. When I go to the page it does not show all of the images. I spoke with support and they said that it was due to the way the website creater created the website in relationship to tying the images to the shopping cart part of the code. Support was unable to have all pictures load when on a second iPad and also on a Mac. However when he tried firefox it worked just fine which means it's a problem with safari and the coding only on apple products as the website loads just fine on a pc using safari. Does anyone know if there is plans to allow safari to accept this type of code?
The website that I am trying to reach is:
Jaimelee.scentsy.us/buy
Any knowledge or help would be great!
Thanks

I followed the steps that you listed and had no luck in getting the images at the lower half of the site to load. I know that they top three or four images load, but the rest shows up as a blue box with a question mark. Did you happen to get the site to load completely all the way down?
Thanks
The problem with this site is that the images which don't show are being delivered from the server extranet.scentsyoffice.com with an https secure connection.
An example is: https://extranet.scentsyoffice.com/Scentsy/Shopping/Images/PSW-TWIG_thumb.jpg
This secure connection requires a valid server certificate, however, the server certificate is recognized by the iPad Safari browser as invalid and the images are not displayed. Note that if you try to display the link for the jpg file above on iPad Safari you will be given a dialog to accept or reject the invalid certificate. Once you accept the certificate you will be able to display the original page and see all the images.
If the certificate is indeed invalid then other browsers (e.g., Mac Safari or Firefox) are apparently overlooking this deficiency for jpg files.
The site should probably check into this and, if the certificate is, indeed, invalid, correct this problem.

  • Safari won't load some images (after upgrade to Mavericks from Lion)

    Hi,
I've noticed that since I upgraded my OS from Lion to Mavericks, Safari won't load all images on certain websites.
I've tried loading the same pages on my daughter's MacBookPro (she upgraded from Mountain Lion to Mavericks) and everything works just fine.
We cross checked the Safari preferences and everything is identical.
Below are two pictures, the first one taken from my computer, the second one from my daughter's. As you can see, in the first photo the image won't display, while it's been perfectly loaded in the second photo.
    Here's the website: http://blog.alice.tv/berengario/2013/11/16/trasmissione-su-arturo-tv/
I've tried opening the same page on Firefox, and all images are perfectly displayed.
    Could you please help me?
    Thank you for your support!
    Kind regards,
    Leo

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and  Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

  • Safari 7.1 won't load large images on MacBook Air. Turning off Auto Graphics is not an option.

When I try to load a large image with Safari 7.1, I get a black box instead of an image.
Chrome and Firefox load the image just fine.
This is a known problem and others have resolved it by turning off Auto Graphics Switching.
However, my version of MacBook does not have the capability to turn off Auto Graphics Switching under the Energy Saver preferences. (I guess I have the GPU or chip or whatever that doesn't provide that option.)
    Are there any workarounds?
Here are two threads about the same problem, but the solutions don't work for me:
safari 7 won´t load large images...
Safari 7.0.1 does not load large images

    Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
"Develop" menu will appear in the Safari menu bar
    Enable Images.
Make sure that"Disable Images" is not enabled.
    Best.

  • Ipad won't load past apple screen

My Ipad won't load or shut down.  When the cover is opened the screen w/apple is there..desktop sometimes comes on, but as soon as screen is touched it returns to apple screen. I backed up the ipad with itunes on computer and attempted to restore it but it  won't
restore until "find my ipad" is turned off, which I can't do since the ipad won't load the settings.
Updated to ios7 two days ago and was working okay.  I'm not sure if this has something to do with the update.

    Have you tried rebooting?
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • My iPad won't load videos or streams home

My iPad won't load videos or streams well when I'm home but when I'm at school it seems to work fine. Would that be a connectivity issue. If so or if not, how would I fix this?

Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: > Sign out.
    Do a reset: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1430
    Sign back in.
Make sure you have Wi-Fi connection to the Internet.

  • Firefox won't load websites, no error message

Firefox updated to 20.0.1 today. Now it won't load websites. I don't get an error message or the "in process" wheel. I can access websites through internet explorer. I updated internet security but it didn't help.

Check your Windows Firewall preferences and see if it isn't blocking Firefox from showing websites. Also have you checked your internet connection? If your internet connection is working fine yet you can not access any website then it can also have an error. If so I recommend you uninstall and install it again. Sometimes in the process of downloading it can come corrupted, then if possible, download again the newest version of Firefox and install it. But do not forget to check the Firewall.

  • Firefox won't load check images from my online bank.

Firefox won't load check images from my online bank. It had been doing so with no problems, but stopped 2 days ago. I can get into my account and navigate with no problems. But when I click to see the image of a check, I get a blank page.
I am using Firefox 3.6, but I have the same problem on my laptop with Firefox 4
It works fine with Safari and Internet Explorer.

If you can't open them in Firefox anymore (you seem to have a plugin: View PDF documents within your web browser) then download the documents to the desktop and open them with a program that can open PDF files.
See also to be sure that that plugin is still selected:

Do you otherwise have problems with PDF files?

  • IPad Safari not loading all images in website

Besides iOS 4.2.1 slowing things down and frequently crashing apps. I've been having problems with websites I browse with lots of large images. The iPad has problems loading all the images on a single page with bluebox ? coming up instead of the actual images. Reloading and site does nothing to fix it. Browsing done on WiFi but no problem in desktop safari on the same WiFi network.

I do not have an iPad, but this url has been reported to me as having this issue:
    www.ironeagletactical.com/products
The problem is occurring on the last products on the page.

Hi, I have the same problem as you.

  • Loader won't load large images

I have some pretty large PNG images stored in a database (example 1000x15000 px, 4.5MB). I am trying to load this using the Loader class...the problem I am having is when I call load(), nothing happens. No events, no errors.
I can take the same image and embed it. As long as as I set the height to less than 8000px it works fine. If I convert the same image to a ByteArray, and try to load that byte array nothing happens.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

Hmm, so at this point I am just trying to load the image into memory and not display it. I don't really need to display it at full size. Are you saying that I can't even load the image at all?
I haven't tried stitching. It seems like a lot of effort and I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that. Additionally, the data is already stored as a single PNG file in the database so I don't know how I am going to break it up. I was hoping since I can display the embedded image at 8000px high I could do the same thing with the ByteArray.
Flash isn't even throwing an error so I can't even tell the user why the image isn't loading. Since the Loader won't load it I can't determine the image height.

  • Firefox won't load google image search results

Firefox won't load google search results. It will load the page of results with the thumbnails etc. but if you click any of them, just a loading spinning icon appears on the tab and it never loads.
    I have tried:
Both logged in and out of google account,
All other areas of google work with no problems (news, shopping etc.),
Site working perfectly in Internet Explorer,
    Running firefox in safemode,
Manually disabling all plugins and addons,
    Clearing the cache and cookies,
Opening results in new tab just results in white page with web address but it never loads,
Restarting both my PC and router.
It's not been working for at least the past 6 hours. Last time I used it was about a week ago and it was working fine then. I've not noticed any problems on any other sites this week that I can recall.

Updating firefox to version 17.0 appears to have solved this.

  • Firefox won't load/show images on some websites with Disconnect add-on enabled

I've been having trouble with Firefox not loading images on some websites. I tried clearing my cache/cookies, checking permissions disabling the AdBlocker add-on but nothing worked. I've attached a screen shot of the page info for one of the pictures that didn't load. Something was changing the picture's file type to 'text/html.'
I finally gave up and reset Firefox and that solved the problem. I began slowly adding back my previous add-ons and found that the Disconnect add-on was the cause. I've seen this issue discussed here and on other support websites as well as Bugzilla so I just wanted to offer up my solution in case anyone is having the same issue and can't pinpoint the origin.

I also wanted to know if anyone has any alternatives to Disconnect that don't cause this to happen.
ETA: I've replaced it with Ghostery and that looks be working great without blocking any pictures.

  • IPad won't access website it previously accessed

I just bought a ipad for university, last night I accessed the course website without problem. The website requires login upon entering, today I am having problems because the page will not load. I have cleared my cache, cookies, history and tried to remedy the problem. I also tried to use the Dolphin HD browser to open the website and had no luck.
The website I am trying to access is www.sob.bcit.ca/rickk/secure/   or  www.sob.bcit.ca/mktg3344/

Try completely shutting down your Safari app, double click the home button to open the multi-task window then hold your finger on the app until it starts to wiggle and a red minus sign show up in the left corner tap the red minus sign to close it.  They try to login.
