IPad won't print ... iPhone prints fine

My new "New iPad" will not see my printer, an HP LaserJet CP1525nw. When I try to print, I get the error "No AirPrint Printers Found."
The printer is fine and on the network. It is on "the list." My iPhone will see it and print to it without problem. So will my work iPad (an iPad 2).
Has to be something with the New iPad then, right? What?
Thanks!

Turn off wifi. Wai a few seconds. Quit the other apps including the one you want to print from. Turn on wifi. Try and print again

  • Why won't my iphone print to hp eprint printer?

I have a 4g, hubby has 4gs.  Just installed the hp 110 printer and hubby can print directly with the click of the print button, but my phone will only print via the hp eprint app. and the ipad 2 will not dirctly print (have not tried the app on that yet).  I would like to be able to print directly is is possible on the 4g?

Make sure it is one of the HP 110 printers listed on the AirPrint compatibility list (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356).  If so, make sure it is connected to your network wirelessly (not via cat 5).  If your phone still won't see it, then you may need to update the printer's firmware in order to enable AirPrint functionality.

  • Iphone and ipad won't connect with printer

I just got an HP photosmart B210A printer. The printer works great with wireless from my pc. When I want to print from my iphone or ipad they see the printer, I press print and all I get is that it is connecting with the printer. Does anyone have any

    Hi,
On both the iPhone and iPad..
Tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings
Then restart your devices. Try printing.
Restarting the router may help also.

  • Ipad won't turn on, worked fine the day before

I just set it aside for the night and it worked perfectly fine the day before, but then the next day it won't turn on anymore.

Have you tried resetting your iPad?
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
    No data will be lost.

  • IPad won't detect iPhone with camera connector

So I got the camera connector kit and wanted to use it to transfer photos from my iPhone 4GS to my iPad 1. Unfortunately, the iPad doesn't detect it, it just sits there. How do I fix that?

According to the support page: "In addition to supporting digital cameras and SD cards, you can also import photos and videos from your iPhone*, iPod touch, and iPod nano (5th generation) using the Camera Connector."

  • My iPad won't recognise my air printer, it is connected as I checked by typing in IP address into Safari, but when I try to print it just says cannot find any air printers.

my Ipad won't recognise my printer. It is connected as I have typed the IP address into Safari which confirms connectivity. Spoken with canon who suggest it it is a problem with IOS not recognising the functionality. When I try to print it says cannot find any air printers. Printer is working via LAN set up on my laptop. Don't want to have to spend £25 to speak to an apple support team. Has anyone else experienced this problem. Printer is a canon MG 3250.

A few things you could try:
    Reboot your modem/router.
Turn your printer off then on again & make sure it's connected to the network.
Reboot your iPad holding down the home & sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until the apple logo appears then release & let the iPad boot up normally.
Try going into Settings on your iPad & select General->Reset->Reset Network Settings.
Also, have a look at this:

  • My ipad will not find my printer

My iPhone and iPad won't find my printer why is this.

I will need some more information in order to help out. What model of printer do you have? What make and model of router do you have?  Is the connection for the printer Ethernet or wireless? Are the router's and the printer's firmware up to date?  What is the OS of both apple devices? Thanks.

  • My iPad 2 cannot find my printer!

I have a wireless HP printer that is set up on 4 other devices with wireless capabilities. Unfortunately, I keep getting the message that there is no AirPlay. Basically, the iPad won't recognize my printer so I can't print.

You say that you have 4 other devices that can see the printer but you don't specify that the 4 devices are iOS devices.
If you do not have an HP printer on the list on this site ... Then you will need a third party app to print.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
Apps like Print 'n Share, Print Central, Print Magic (?) and others are available in the app store.
If they are iOS devices and the printer works with those, try restarting the printer and see if the iPad can find it then. Maybe the printer needs a firmware update as well. You can also try restarting the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

  • If I can print to a wireless printer from my Mac, wouldn't it seem like I could print from my iPad mi I and iPhone 5?

I cannot print from my iPhone5 nor my iPad mini, to a wireless HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m. I can print from my Mac book pro. Is it my settings or the printer that is not set up correctly?

First check to see if its airprint enabled, it will be listed in the first article link. If not, then there are other options listed below.

  • IPad won't print to my HP D110 printer anymore

My iPad recognizes my HP D110 printer on my network and I successfully printed to it the very first time I tried.  I thought, wow, that was almost too easy but now I can't get it to work again.  It shows as an available printer but when I select it to print nothing happens.  I know the printer is working and online because I can send print jobs to it via email.  I've shut off/turned on printer and reconfigured it to my network several times with no luck. Any ideas out there?

I have a windows 7 machine, HP D110 printer, Dlink DIR-655 router, and an ipad and iphone both upgraded to ios5. Everything was working great until the upgrade. Now only windows 7 machine can print wirelessly . Neither ios5 device can find the printer as before. When I restart the printer, it can be seen by ios5 devices for about 2 minutes then no longer. I have restarted every device, the router, checked firmware versions, and still nothing. The setup is no different than before ios5, just now it does not work.

  • For no apparent reason, the printing from the iPad to the HP wireless printer was no more possible, while it was still possible from the iPhone.

For no apparent reason, the printing from the iPad to the HP wireless printer was no more possible, while it was still possible from the iPhone 5. Any idea why?

Gutenprint drivers are intended for non-laser printers. HP supplies the proper drivers, and you can download the latest version directly from HP's support site. Or you can install the most recent HP drivers provided by Apple.
Printing speeds do not include the time it may take to transfer data to the printer. It also doesn't take into account the time it takes for the printer to be prepared to start printing. Color is much slower than B/W.
Contact HP for any additional assistance you may need since these forums do not provide support for non-Apple products.

  • Don't have router. I use iphone wifi to give wifi to ipad. Can I get printer airplay to work without router?

Dont have router ( as broadband in area is less than 1 MB) my iphone provides wifi to iPad Air.
WIll airprint printer work for me

It will depend on what printer you choose.
You need an Airprinter that supports ad hock printering.  This means the printer contains a wifi router ( it limited to only printing. )
    List of supported AirPrinters.
        http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356
From this list you need to find the ones that support ad hock printer.  I'd look at hp.
Disclaimer, I have not tried this out.  All is based on what I have read online.
    For example HP D110.
    HP D110 Info Page
Here is how to set up an ad hoc network form their instruction manual.
    HP D110 User's Manual
See Page 31 of User Guide...
    1. In the Control Panel, double-click Network and Internet, then Network and Sharing Center..
    2. In the Network and Sharing Center (under Tasks on the left), select Set up a connection or network.
    3. Choose the connection option Set up a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network, then click Next. Read the description and warnings about ad hoc networks, then click Next>.
    4. Enter details, including Network name (the SSID for your ad hoc connection), Security type, and SecurityPassphrase. If you are going to save this network connection, check Save this network. Make a note of the SSID and the Security key/ Passphrase for future reference. Click Next
    5. Continue to follow the prompts to complete setup of the ad hoc network connection.

Have you tried restarting the printer? Reboot the iPad as well.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

    Hi,
    Have you tried a reset?
This solves a lot of these problems, and I'm not sure if this will work in your case, but give it a try. You hold down the sleep and home buttons at the same time. A slider will appear. Ignore it and keep holding both buttons down. After about 15 seconds the Apple logo will appear. See if that helps.
You will not lose anything on your ipad when you do a reset. (A restore is a whole other issue!)
The following link addresses your issue and offers some other possible solutions.
