Ipad won't recognzie network
My laptop, phone, and ipod touch all recognize the available networks. The ipad is stuck on "choosing a network.I restarted, rebooted, turned the wi-fi from off to on, checked the that it wasn't in ariplane mode. Nothing works. Does anyone have any ideas.

Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

I followed Bob Timmons directions but iPad won't join network - and now I

ThanksOK, thanks for the info. Since your husband's iPad connects, that tells us that the AirPort Express and ethernet connection is working correctly.
I think there are two possibilities here:
1) The main router at the facility has been setup to only allow one device to connect. It would have picked up the MAC address from your husband's iPad if he was the first to log on to the network. If that is the case, you'll need to contact the IT service there to ask them if they will allow multiple devices to connect.
I travel quite a bit and I would estimate that perhaps 30-40% of the hotels will only allow one device to connect. So, if I have my laptop and iPhone, only one of them will be able to connect. Unfortunately, that's the way it is.
2) If #1 above is not the case, then your iPad is having a connection issue. Sorry, I don't have an iPad so I can't give you exact instructions. The thing that you need to do is delete your current wireless connection in case it may have become corrupted. You'll also need to delete the wireless password. Then restart the iPad and try to log on again.
Your iPad is probably OK, but if you could take it to the lobby (if they have wireless there) or a coffee place with wireless, you could test to see if you are able to connect.
Sorry for the difficulties. There's really nothing more I can suggest unless you can borrow a computer and download AirPort Utility. I have an idea for a real longshot if you want to try it. -
my IPAD won't accept my wi-fi password. I have tried resetting all settings and network settings but still won't accept it. Can't download to new version of IOS either, says software update server could not be contacted.
Yes I have put in the correct password, its all numbers so can't get it wrong really.
It has connected before as has my iPod and that won't connect either. I have checked that they aren't on the blocked list of the wi fi. Managed to download the new version of iOS and that hasn't made a difference.
I have the wi fi plugged directly into the computer rather than the booster hub as the computer won't connect to it when its in the hub. I did get the iPad to connect to the internet when it twas in the hub but once I upgraded the iOS it won't accept the wifi password in the hub either. -

IPad won't connect to WiFi network, but macbook pro & iphones will.
Both of my iPhones and my Macbook Pro easily connect to the wi-fi network. I feel like I've tried everything to get my iPad to connect. It used to connect perfectly fine and I'd watch Netflix, but then it started crashing. I work for a non-profit so it's a company network, not my personal one, but it's the only network I have considering I live here! Such a pain!
I've reset my network settings.
I've click "Forget Network"
I've done a hard reset of the iPad multiple times.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

Ipad won't remain connected with network
I can connect our Ipads to our home wireless network (Netgear) without a problem, but they both intermittently drop their logins and have to be manually logged back in. This doesn't happen with my Macbook or my Iphone. What gives? They are both registered in my router.
Try #5.

iPad2 won't sync with iMac and only my iphone4 shows in the devices window on my iMac. For some reason it will not detect my iPad via my wireless network! The iPad will sync when plugged into the Mac however looses connection and disappears from the device window when unplugged.

You already have a wireless router or have just bought one, or do you have an ad hoc connection from iMac to AppleTV?
If things worked in the other location this all point to poor network performance/connectivity. It may be the connection is intermittently lost - small files transfer ok, but interruptions during longer transfers scupper the process.
Interference from cordless phone bases or microwaves (and neighbours devices) might also cause connectivity issues.
Signal strength bars are often not that useful, but will indicate connection to the main wireless device they connect to - so AppleTv may have a good connection to the router but a poor iMac connection to router is not displayed by AppleTV which only shows the connection to the first device in the chain.
You could consider some home mains newtorking plugs such as those made by Devolo but they usually have to be on the same mains ring. -
Today for some reason my Ipad won't tether properly. The iphone says it's connected and on the Ipad next to Wi-Fi in settings shows I'm connected but at the top left of the screen there is no connection icon and I cannot load and display web pages. My Ipad is about three weeks old and I have never had this problem before. I have rebooted but this did not solve my problem.

my Ipad won't recognise my printer. It is connected as I have typed the IP address into Safari which confirms connectivity. Spoken with canon who suggest it it is a problem with IOS not recognising the functionality. When I try to print it says cannot find any air printers. Printer is working via LAN set up on my laptop. Don't want to have to spend £25 to speak to an apple support team. Has anyone else experienced this problem. Printer is a canon MG 3250.
A few things you could try:
Reboot your modem/router.
Turn your printer off then on again & make sure it's connected to the network.
Reboot your iPad holding down the home & sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until the apple logo appears then release & let the iPad boot up normally.
Try going into Settings on your iPad & select General->Reset->Reset Network Settings.

I have downloaded and installed the driver from the HP website for the HP Envy 5530. While I can send documents from my iMac to the printer using a USB cable, it will not print wirelessly. When I tried to install the wireless connection, I got the dialogue box saying "Devise not reachable" and it suggested I check whether the iMac is connected to the wireless network (it is and the signal strength is excellent, Safari runs well) and that I check the printer is connected to the same network (it is). I am able to print items from my iPad wirelessly using the network so I don't understand why the iMac won't recognise the printer wirelessly when everything else works fine.
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Advanced
and check the box marked
Include Bonjour in the Bookmarks menu
if it's not already checked. Then select
Bookmarks ▹ Bonjour ▹ Name of printer

Pc connects to airport, ipad won't
I just connected my Airport Extreme to a new modem. The Airport app on my phone said I needed to update the firmware, so it is now using version 7.6.1
My PC running windows 7 connects wirelessly to the internet using airport (as it did before), but all my apple devices (iPhones and iPads) won't connect. The airport app on my phone shows all the devices as having excellent connections, but none of them will connect to the internet. When I go to wi-fi on those devices and choose my network, the indicator just spins and spins and spins. Some of the devices are running 6.0.1 and some are running 5.1.1 None of them work. Has anyone else had this issue?

My iPad won't open some of my apps says it's not connected to the internet which I am because I'm using it right now. I ant listen to music I can't update I can't do anything
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

Is your iPad GSM or CDMA? I solved the same issue by removing SIM CARD and configuring the iPad normally without it, then when iPad was turned on, inserted SIM CARD, toggled airplane mode on and off and next procedure was reset network settings.
