Hi all I was wondering if anyone could help, for some reason my ipad wont recognise my wifi network, my Internet connection and router are fine and I have phones and x box's connected with no problem, I factory reset my ipad thinking it would help but forgot I needed connection to set it back up (no laptop or computer) I went away for a week and it connected and let me set it up when I came home, was on for 5 mins and disconnected again while in the middle of downloading the ios 8.1.2 update, at my wits end here as have tried everything it just won't recognise my network or any others

Hi Turn your Router off for 30 Seconds After Router comes back on Reset Network Settings After Reset Enter your Router wireless key. Also later check on website for any Firmware updates for your Router. Cheers Brian

It sounds like the iDevices have gotten out of sync with the home network. I would advise a full power cycle of the circuit involved.
Unplug the 8600 while powered on
Unplug the power from the router
COMPLETELY power off the iDevices, not simply put in sleep mode. Click here for information about how to do so on an iPhone. The steps are similar for other iDevices.
Wait 30-60 seconds
Plug the router back up and wait for it to completely power back up
Plug the 8600 back in for power
Power the iDevices back up and wait for them to sync with the network again
Try to print again
Let me know the results.

1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

My ipad wont recognise my wireless, it just keeps spinning round and round

I had problems with my laptop and its connection. I got a message that another device was using the same IP address so it threw me off the system. I rebooted my house wireless system and the laptop was fine again, as were all the other devices that use it - iphones, desk Macs and the other iPad, but my iPad wont work. It shows the wireless but doesn't seem to be able to hook up to it, it just keeps that searching circle going.

My iPad finds the right WiFi network, and it's a network it has been able to connect to in the past. But when i click on the network it says unable to connect. The network is password protected, but when i click on the network i am not prompted for the password. I reset the WiFi (and it connects to other devices just fine), and i have reset the WiFi on the iPad, and nothing changes.

When I connect my ipad to a wifi network, the iphone connects to the same network

When I connect my iOS 8 iPad 4 to the guest network at work, my iOS 8 iPhone 5s automatically connects to the same network. When I disconnect the iPhone so I can send an email from my iCloud account (which is blocked on the work network) and tell it to forget the network, it disconnects my iPad too. Each time I tell the iPhone to forget the network, when I reconnect my iPad, the iPhone connects again.
How do I tell my iPhone to never connect to the work guest network while allowing my iPad to connect?
I do not like this feature in iOS 8.

Unfortunately, this does not help me, there are no issues with the operation of the WiFi, it is operating normally on both devices.
The issue is that in iOS 8, the WiFi network information is shared across linked devices. Therefore, if I add a network to one device, it is added to the other device and if I forget a network on one device, it is forgotten on the other.
I want to use a network on one device (the iPad) and to not use the network on the other (iPhone). How do I tell the iPhone to not connect to the WiFi without disabling WiFi while allowing the iPad to connect to the network? It is annoying to have to disable the iPhone WiFi manually each day when I get to work and it is prone to forgetting to turn it back on when I leave.

Okay, if you've followed all of the steps in the article I linked for you, then try this.
Create a backup of your device in iTunes. Then, restore the device as new.

Test the device as a new device. If it will not connect to ANY wi-fi network, then the device needs service.
If within warranty, it should be free.
If not, it will probably cost $199 USD + tax.

IPhone 2G wont find wifi networks

Using firmware 2.1 and i have a wifi address in my information section. Sometimes it will find a wifi signal, which has a good connection, but it will disappear in about 5 seconds and if i look into the information on the wifi signal found all feilds will be blank. OK.....then try the reverse, go into settings > network and forget network settings. This will remove your router. Then reconnect (of course you need to remember your router password).
