Ipad wont reconise my card details
hi there
i have the original ipad ... i have recently moved ... ive just tried downloading some FREE items to my ipad ... it asked me to verify my card details ... i changed them accordingly and it wont accept them ... i dont know what else to do try ... as im on the original ipad im only on ios5 thanks in advance
What happens when you try to enter the card's details e.g. if you are getting an error message then what does it say ?
The card is registered to your new address ?
If you only want to download free items then if you log into your account do you get the 'none' option on the payment details screen so that you can remove the card ?

This is the first time i have brought an itunes voucher to use on my iphone, i have been able to redeem it and it shows up on my account but it wont take any money off it and it just keeps asking for my apple id all over agin and for my card details....... slowly loosing the will to live and all the help websites just use all these terms i dont understand, Any help will be much appreciated!!! im trying to purchase music and it says i have $21.07 on my itunes account but when i go to purchase music it asks for my credit card details or a gift card no. and wont let me continue til i do so. how do i spend the money i have on there already?
i try to download the song and it comes up with put in password. then it takes me to a credit card detail place. i have enough money on my account i shouldn't have to use my credit card. how can i use the money alredy on my account?If the amount of the purchase is close to $21.07, then you need to take into account taxes may be added.

Please help. Because I wanted to purchase apps on my iPad after I have only used my credit card detail on my iPhone, I was requested to also enter some security code. I cannot recall what it is and now I cannot purchase any apps. I entered anything in the hope that some assistance to choose a new one will pop up but nothing. What can I do?

I made my apple id for my new 1st apple ipad air from my hp laptop. when i want to access appstore to download some free apps it is asking to review my details for credit card and i dont have that.
I know that we can make new account from ipad/appstore without putting down payment details but how can i access appstore without putting credit card details on my already existed apple id.?You can create an iTune and App Store account without credit card

Using a US Ipad 3 in UK, cannot enter UK credit card details
I suspect that I am being really dumb but I cannot manage this
I have purchased a US Ipad 3 to use in the UK. When I try to download apps it asks for my credit card details but the screen to enter them on is a US version with 'State' and 'Zipcode' so UK details are not accepted. How do I get a UK friendly entry screen?
ThanksThanks for the response folks. I set it up in the USA and guess that I must have entered USA as my location. How do I amend that? I have tried amending the country to Uk in the apple id but that seems to make no difference.

I purchased iPad 3. While trying install application,it says it is not available in Kuwaiti store. I entered my credit card details to complete the configuration . What is the issue.
Even free apps have limits on where they can be downloaded. Either the app maker does not want to release it in Kuwait or (more likely) he/she does not have the rights or permits to release it in Kuwait.

I bought 2 x iPad 1 as a gift and already have one myself. I want to be able to provide them with the means to use iTunes.
Is this possible or does each account need its own payment/card details?
I don't want to assume that its currently possible as this could flag up as a fraudulent event.
ThanksFor what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.
