IPad wont register/ no tabs avaliable under devices when you click on Ipad
Help, i plugged in my brand new ipad 2 and got the regitration screen. I signed into my Apple ID and started to register and my Itunes hung. I restarted Itunes and now my Ipad will not register. It will lst under devices but when ou click on it there is no information or sync options/tabs etc.
When i plug my iphone in it works fine.
can anyone help. I have reinstalled Itunes and tried it on another PC with an older version of itunes but with no luck.

As you connect your ipod to iTunes, an option in the upper right of the screen will appear. When you click this, it will show the different menu for your ipod.

This issue can be caused by the Ask<i></i>.com toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)

Because you are trying to go to icloud.com using Safari on your iPad. You have to go to icloud.com from your computer browser.

Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. -

How do you stop recovery mode to prevent you loseing all your data on your device when you have to restore it?
The thing is i did not start recovery mode, it did it automatically when i was updating to ios6 and an error occured.

WHen I plug my ipad in it will start to sunc and then after a few minutes my iphone will show up under devices. I then get all my iphone data on my ipad as well. Does anyone know how tocorrect this?
You may have enabled wifi sync on your iPhone.

I don't have an issue with how the tabs work. But, the other user of my laptop can not distinguish between the concepts of "x" and "+" leading to constant frustration as he opens bookmarks over the tabs he wants left open.
I thought it might help if a clicked bookmark opened automatically in a new tab or window rather having to click on the add a tab for a blank tab before opening a bookmark. Ipod Plays 2 seconds of a song, the freezes 3/4 seconds, then plays fine?!
