My IPAD1 is no longer recognised by Itunes on my Mac deskop. I have follewed the steps recommended by Apple Support aand sometimes after shutting everything down & restarting Itunes briefly recognises my ipad before freezing. Thereafter it sometimes recognises an Ipad is connected but says it cannot identify it. THe message readds "An iPad has been detected, but it could not be identified properly. Please disconnect and reconnect the iPad, then try again." Dsiconneceting & reconnecting achives nothing. However the Ipad does receive a charge from the Mac
This started after updating some Apps, and the next sync advised me that there had been issues syncing Apps. Then this problem started.

Just over a week ago I found my mac would not recognise my wifi printer and attempts to add it again have been fruitless. I then received notification from time machine that my backups to Time Capsule have failed. The last back-up was about the time the printer problem occured. Restart your router.
Then reset your Time Capsule > Resetting an AirPort base station
Then restart your Mac.
See if that makes a difference.

You may have moved or removed content on your page or its possible you used the"Adjust Image" and over sharpeed one or more images.
I assume you mean it does not show up of new Chapter pages... have you checked the template?
Where you see the ? you need to either reduce teh box outline size - or drop anther copy of the original image onto it, it may fill the ? box or sit on top.... delete the ? box.
If its Chapter page only related, its better doing this in the template.
Is you image .jpg or .png?

Temporarily disable any security software on the computer.
Also check the host file and remove any entries for gs.apple.com.

HT4178 Mac server OSX 10.8.2 Netistall doesn't have image, how can I fix this?

I tried to switch on Netinstall on just on just brand new Apple mini server, all the data have filed and green light is on, except of Netinstall which requesting me to add an image and file in the library/netboot/ is empty for that. If even I try to add it on the NEtinstall page, there small gear tab blanked and cn not modified at all whatever I did, I have not modified any thing there - so that is suprice why on the new apple happening with me that, may be a problem in a software or I just don't know somne thing. You need to create a NetInstall image using System Image Utility. You can launch it from the "Tools" menu of Server.app.
To use System Image Utility, you will need an installed volume, or an Install Mac OS X application from the Mac App Store.

Try the other DVI port on the graphics card. On early Mac Pros, only one port is the dual-link DVI needed for full resolution on the 30" display. Make sure the display's USB cable is plugged into the computer.

I tried the C key and re-installed Mac OS x 10.5 from the installer disc. I didn't run software update. When I restarted my PowerBook, it got stuck at the same point i.e there is a blank space in the top menu bar where the day and time should be displayed. I then spotted that the spotlight icon had a glowing dot in the middle. I clicked on it and it said something like 'spotlight is indexing the computer'. I left it alone but after a while the computer went into sleep mode and when I re-woke it, it was still at the same point and there was no audible hard drive noise. I'm not quite sure what to do next? Maybe I should try and re-install the original Mac OS 10.1 that came with the laptop. What do you think?

you would have to restore device to sync with the windows machine. iPods are meant to be monagonmous with a single computer and iTunes library.
If you do restore the device, all of the data will be erased.

After synching iPhone, most of my apps no longer work. how do I fix this

I've had my 3GS for several months, and purchased several dozen apps over that time. I had never synched the phone to my mac until today, though (I didn't have a new enough OS or iTunes). Now the phone synchs and backs up (it says) but I got a message saying some of my apps couldn't be synched because this computer isn't authorized" and I should authorize the computer. I click on the "store" tab and do that, and get a message saying "this computer is already authorized".
When I click on any app that didn't come with the iPhone, it flashes on for half a second and then closes.
How do I get my apps back and functioning? Please advise, thank you.

Now when I plug the iphone into the computer, itunes and iphoto don't respond (it used to be that both programs would launch if they weren't already open when I plugged the iPhone in, and when I plugged it in while iTunes was open it would show in the left hand column).
The system profiler confirms that the computer sees the iphone in the USB bus, and when I plug in an iPod, iTunes "sees" it.

I recently moved a few programs from my C drive to the D drive to free up space. Now, choosing "Adobe PDF" as the printer no longer seems to work. The save screen appears, but no PDF is created. Do I need to reconfigure the Adobe "printer" or similar? Thanks.

Did you completely uninstalled the software and then performed custom installation for the C drive location.
