Ipad2 app store update notes remain after update complete
After updating apps, the app icon and and related notes which appeared when update is released are not removed from update page after the update has been completed. It remains and the "update" button changes to "open" as expected. But update info will not go away.
That's how it is now. Presumably it's meant to be transparency for those that have auto app updates enabled, to allow them to see what their iPad did 'behind their backs' so to speak. But it means that everyone gets the list, whether they have auto updates on or not.
Those updates will drop off after about 3 weeks or so.

App Store will not load after upgrading to mac osx 10.7.2
Upgraded my MacBook Pro to 10.7.2 and now App Store will not present any information... seems to hang trying to connect to the store. This is just one symptom of issues after the upgrade... Outlook, Safari, KeyChain Access, etc all failing to load or to operate properly.
Install the OS X Lion Update 10.7.2 Client Combo
Then restart your Mac.
If you still have problems, you may need to repair the startup disk.
Use Lion Recovery to do that. -
App Store is not responding after Yosemite installation
After installed Yosemite 3 days ago, I have been encountering many issues: 1) booting very slow (more than 10-15 minutes), even halt sometimes; 2) app store does not respond; 3) some apps like Spotify are cannot be opened. I have been always happy with Apple products until Yosemite. So disappointed!
What I don't get about this community is how come we have to rely on other users to guess how to fix major problem....SHOULDN'T BE Apple's duty to surf these users issues and give the RIGHT ANSWER ASAP!!!!!
Anyway I got the same problem...app store stuck!

IBooks, Maps and App Store does not open after Mavericks installation
I'm having troubles after I update to Mavericks, iBooks, Maps and App Store doesn't open, I can't check for updates or anything. How can I reinstall Mavericks or how can I solve the proble.
Thanks for your help!!Boot into the Recovery volume (boot with the Command + R keys held down) and use Disk Image to repair disk permissions and the disk itself. Reboot and try again.
To reinstall the system boot again into the Recovery volume and use the install system option. That will reinstall only the system. -
My ipad2 app store is not opening nor responding
It's my third day that my ipad2 is acting very weird and the app store is giving me a loading bar and nothing happens meanwhile safari is acting very weird with the facebook at the same time and it's not opening too.
Anyone can help ???Here are a number of basic troubleshooting things to try. Take note of number 3 & 4
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Cache. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -

Mine is doing the same thing too after I updated my iPhone to the new iOS 7. I can't get into the iTunes Store, it closes right when it opens. I've turned my phone off and turned it back on but it is still the same.

Force close the App Store app and reset the iPad. No data will be lost when you reset the device.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.

Anyone having trouble with App Store install and cloud store buttons not working after 6.1 update? I go to install an app. I hit install and nothing happens. About a minute later it asks me for my password and then it does nothing. The install button goes back to saying install. However the app shows up in my installed list and in cloud but no app installed.
OK - I found a helpful post - closed app store app and under Settings/General/Date and Time I reset the date and time by switching off "Set Automatically" and then switching it on again. Went back to App Store, launched it and Updatesseems to be working again.
Go figure? Logical, No! -
