Ipad2 Calender?

Can you change the colours of events on the Ipad2 Calendars? Can you make new calendars besides the normal and birthday one? If so, how?

If you sync calendars from, for example, iCal on Mac then you will get different colours for the different categories from that. You can also sync calendars from your email accounts (if they support it)

When you say "events", do you mean full-day items (as opposed to an item scheduled from, for example, 9am to 11am)? If so, perhaps these KBs apply:
KB20341 Calendar entries turn into all-day events, and the end date appears one day earlier on the BlackBerry smartphone after synchronization
KB26533 All day appointments created on a BlackBerry smartphone in a GMT+ time zone synchronize to the GroupWise client one day earlier

Calender Entries not matching on the iCloud of iPad2 and Windows PC 7

I have iCloud on my iPad2 and Windows 7 Laptop, the calender entries are reflected with an hour's time difference.
I have checked the Timezones on both the devices and they have the same Time zone.
Don't know why the time lag is present. Kindly help.

Have you checked the timezone settings in iCloud?
Login https://www.icloud.com/ and press your name in the upper right corner. There you find TimeZone setting and there's might be your problem

Ipad2 - No Contact, No Calender, No Email

Hi All,
I have 2 Ipad2's and neither of them will allow me to set up calender, contacts or email, only find ipad.
There is just no option under setup for me to enable them, all I get is the option to find my ipad (which doesent work either, for when I log into me.com, it only comes up with find my iphone, not either of my ipads)
Any advice on how to fix this?
Is the fact that I live in NZ the problem?

How do I get my contacts and calender info from iphone 4 to ipad2 ?

I have just bought an iPad 2 and want to somehow sync it with my iPhone 4 so that it gets all the calender and contact data stored on my iPhone. Help please.

I have given up on using Outlook 2010 with icloud. How can I use icloud to manage all of my calender and contacts?

I had been using Outlook 2010 synced to my iphone (4) and ipad and ipad2. It has not been a pleasant or successful endevor. I have a successful copy of my Calender and contacts on the icloud now. I am unable to connect to the icloud calender using my pc. I wish to disable the Outlook calender and contacts and only access the calender and contacts on the icloud. When I try to connect to the calender using icloud the message only tells me an error has occured and please send this info to Apple, but not provide any info on why it does not work. What do I need to do? Thanks

I keep getting error messages on the calendar since downloading the new software on my IPAD2. It either says "cannont save event. That event does not belong to that event store" or I get an error message that says that no calendar "has been set".

Colors in calender change

The colors in in my agenda change unwanted. How can I stop this.

I too am having this issue! Ever since upgrading my iPad2 and iPhone5 to ios7, the colors for my calendars have changed, and I am unable to change them back to my desired color(s). This is effecting all devices upon which I view my calendars, including my MacBook Pro, so i suspect an iCloud issue? I am unable to change the colors for even a brief moment at my icloud site.
I can change the color of a specific calendar while viewing on a device, but as soon as I either close the calender or navigate away from the calender, upon returning the calendar (and I suspect the calendar going through a sync) color has reverted to the unwanted color.
Frustrated!
Any suggestions?

Missing calender entries

Hello all,
we often have problem syncing calender entries in an Enterprise environment :
Not all of the entries are synchronized, some are missing.
Thi smostly happens on big mailboxes (more than 15 GB), but it could occur on smaller ones also.
When we reset the user or installing a new iOS, the problem wents away, but you can't say how long it would be stable.
We're using iPad2 (64GB) with iOS 4.3.3, Novell GroupWise 8.0.2 as Corporate Mail System and Novell Data Synchronizer for communication between both.
Any suggestions ?

Can the users see the missing items from OWA?
Have you checked the Deleted Items folder in your Outlook?
Does the users affected sync their calendar with handheld devices? This may cause the calendar item missing.
In addition, if the users are using Outlook in cached mode, please switch to online mode to check the result.
If they installed any anti-virus, please temporarily disable it and test the issue again.

I am missing a number of my notes and all my newer appointments from my calender and notes on iphone and ipad2 (they started syncing automatically not long ago despite i did not op in for the icloud auto sync

but guess you can get an app to sync it with a gmail calender
then you can just make a special gmail account for the purpos

I set up my ipad2 email for my Comcast account. At first, I could receive email but not send. I reset the account and now I can send but not receive. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You should check the settings for the incoming mail server and the outgoing mail server for your Email Adress. You can find this under "Settings" - "Mail, Contacts, Calender" - "Accounts" - klick on your Account Name.
Now Check if this is corect:
Account Information
Name: Your Name
Adress: Your comcast Email Adress
Description: the name for the email account / could also be such like "Office"
Incoming Mail Server
Host Name: mail.comcast.net
User Name: your comcast Emial Adress
Password: Your correct password from the comcast Emial Account
Outgoing Mail Server
Host Name: smtp.comcast.net
User Name: your comcast Emial Adress
Password: Your correct password from the comcast Emial Account
