Ipad2 charging very slowly and drains the battery very quickly

My ipad2 charges very slowly, and if not plugged in to charge, it drains very quickly. Anyone have any simple solutions?

Not exactly.   You need a new battery.   Apple will replace for about $100

can some 1 help me, since yesterday when i bought this phone, my device very hot and drain my battery so fast, i've already turn off what ever i can , especially for time zone, but still drain my battery so fast, anybody know how to solve? my ios is new

I had the same problem and went to see the genius bar and they swapped it no problem. The heat is because the battery is draining fast not the other way round. iPhones do get hot sometimes but not always with fast battery drain. They have a powerful processor and no fan so they will get warm when thinking hard.

iOS 7 has many multiple tasks. You can save battery life to some extent by few steps. First go to location services and bettr 'Off' them which are not needed. (Ex. Notes.. Reminders.. Etc). Also you can off few apps in 'get notifications' centre. Also usage of 3g by any mobile consumes much battery life. Better to connect any Wi-fi

  • My blackberry restarts itself and drains the battery

My blackberry restarts itself and drains the battery and I was wondering if there was a way to fix it without having to wipe the memory of my blackberry to do so?

Try taking the media card out and see if the restarting itself ceases.

  • MacBook Pro sometimes stays on after shut-down and drains the battery.

Sometimes my MacBook Pro stays on after I shut it down and it drains the battery until it dies. I return home to find it the clocks and everything have to be reset.  It appears to be shut-down after I select that command, but on occasion it will remain on in a semi-on state and i need to force quit it w/ the power button.  It usually shuts down ok, but this happens every once in a while and I have to continually double-check that it's off before leaving it.  Otherwise, I will come back and the battery will be very warm and the machine is running, but not really on.  Any ideas?

Problem solved by my own. But do not how :) magsafe again working and the laptop tooo

  • My iPad will not power down.  It automatically restarts and drains the battery because it is on all the time.

My IPad will not power down and stay off.  It powers down and then restarts after a few seconds.  Since it is on all of the time, it drains the battery between uses.

Then I think it is time to take to an Apple store to be checked. Make an appointment at your closest store. You can keep it plugged in to maintain the battery until you get it checked.

  • MBP draining the battery very fast.

My MBP 2011 is running out of battery very fast. I tried turning the Wireless off but still the same issue. This has been happening only for a few days now. Any thoughts why??

Many users see Apple's "up to 7 hours" claim and figure they should be getting 7 hours no matter what. Nothing could be farther from the truth. How long your machine runs on a full charge depends very heavily on what applications are in use, what web sites are being browsed, and what settings are in effect on the machine. To get 7 hours, you must have all energy-saving settings optimized and be doing almost nothing.
To maximize battery life in actual, real-life usage:
If you have a 15" or 17" MBP, use gfxCardStatus to restrict your machine to using its integrated graphics instead of the discrete GPU.
Keep your screen backlight turned down as far as you can stand.
    Turn off keyboard backlighting.
Disconnect external drives, iPods, iPads, iPhones and all other bus-powered peripherals when running on battery power.
Turn off Bluetooth and wifi whenever you aren't using them.
Avoid web sites that have any Flash content, including advertisements.
Avoid streaming any video from the web.
Don't play any 3D games -- not even those that will run on integrated graphics.
Quit all applications that aren't in active use.
Close all web browser windows and tabs that aren't in active use.
If you take all these steps, your battery will probably last around six hours. Of course you'll be quite limited in what you can do, but that's what it takes to maximize battery life.

  • Just downloaded last update for my iPhone5 and drained the battery to zero overnight. I will never update again.

What the heck goes on with updates? Fixes bugs? hah. Drained the battety overnight to less than a red line. I had turned everything 'off' last time after 'updating' to the point where the **** thing is useless,

I just did it again (another hard reset) and presto, I got about an additional 5-7% in charge. I guess if I keep rebooting my iPad Air every 20 minutes or so, I'll never run out charge!

  • IPod hard drive continuously cycles and drains the battery...

    I have a 60G; version 1.3 iPod.
This is not an "every song, every podcast" situation, but I've noticed during certain songs/podcasts the iPod gets "stuck".
The song will continue to play (although on occasion the iPod will crapout), but functionality is very slow to respond (i.e., pause, ff, rewind, etc.)
I also notice that while the hard drive is cycling, the battery drains at an alarming rate.
    Please advise, thank you!

  • Overheated and drained the battery

One day my Q10 became very hot at the top and very quickly depleted the battery. I was reluctant to try to recharge it.  I had gotten it on Amazon.com.  It was a new in-the-box AT&T phone. There was no online support at Blackberry for it because it did not recognize the pin. I took it to AT&T, but they did not have a battery for it or know if it had a hardware or battery problem. They did not take it in as one of their own but instead sold me a new Classic and suggested I contact Blackberry directly for 1 year warranty assistance.  Amazon only covers the first 30 days.  The phone was bought at the end of October, 2014. That is why I'm here, since it appears impossible to get through to Blackberry support otherwise.  If anyone at Blackberry is reading this, please help or give me the magic support ticket number needed.

If you purchased from Amazon you can try filling this form out. They do verify if the device was sold through Amazon and not another reseller on Amazon, though.

  • TS2481 Contacts synchs very slowly and all the time. How do I speed it up or set a delay between synchs so it does not slow me down?

Seems that iCloud is frequently and very slowly synching my contacts db. Can I set an interval between synchs? Is there a way to speed up each synch?

There is no fixed sync interval. iCloud pushes out data whenever there's a change on any of your devices. Why do you think something is wrong, and have you taken all the steps suggested in the support article?

  • I have just got my iPad2 and very pleased with it. I have a question regarding the monthly (recommended) battery full charge.  Should I let the battery completely die down to nothing at all or would this be bad for my iPad?

I have just got my iPad2 and am very pleased with it. I have a question regarding the monthly (recommended) battery full charge.  Should I let the battery completely die down to nothing at all before I plug in to recharge or would this complete drain be bad for my iPad?

It's not bad for it - on this page www.apple.com/batteries/ipad.html it says :
For proper reporting of the battery’s state of charge, be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).
