Ipad2 /hotspot problem after software upgrade

I can connect to my hotspot or at least it is showing that I am connected but can't download email, or access the internet. Anyone else having this problem?

Thank you for your input but the RAID disk set will not pose an editing issue
as read cycle time is the same as a single disk. RAID 1 does have a slight
increase in the write time, but this slight increase is also not an issue for NL
video editing.
I followed your recommendations for managing performance of Win 7 and I
did notice a performance increase. I have decided NOT to operate APE 8
with AVCHD clips and I am testing different AVCHD converters from
different companies. I am currently testing converting to DV AVI format but
I do not know if that format is optimal for editing in PRE.
Another forum participant suggested that the On Board GPU may not have
sufficient performance, but I do not believe the APE uses any of the
acceleration offered by a GPU.
I believe as you do that multi-core processing is much more significant in
performance improvement. That is the reason I purchased a QUAD CORE
AMD processor. Now I am wondering if the software is actually taking full
advantage of the QUAD core. When APE loads it reports that a "multi-core
Processor is present" but the software struggles in previewing an HD
project.
I am trying to avoid having to render sections of a project to see the
preview because rendering while editing consumes too much time and eats
up resources.

C3-01 problems after software upgrade

My phone upgraded to v6 whilst connected to the ovi software yesterday.
After it had finished I found that the memory card had been locked - wasn't prior to this. Have tried all manner of usual suspects, but nothing. I thought I'd just re-format it in PC, but it is unable to detect it! Slightly annoyed as I only bought it 2 weeks ago!
Secondly, found out today that I am now unable to connect to the blue tooth in my car, wherease yesterday it was working prior to update.
I have done 2 full factory re-sets, but to no avail.
Is there anywhere to download the old software and install? or any solutions to these problems?!

You cant roll back the software ,you can try reinstall the current software.

I've tried this tool from the Cisco website RV0xxV3_FirmwareRescueUtility_v4.0.0.7 without success, the problem is there, is a way you can get the router up and running again ?
Can i run a TFTP server and upload a new software, or i ther a FirmwareRescueUtility for rv042g ??

I am a Cisco network support engineer, I have a recommendation, before you upgrade any device in the future. Always keep in mind to make a backup of your data, in this way if you have to reset the device to factory settings you will not lose that information. Having said that, reset the router to the fabric configuration using the back little button, remember when you do that, you are going to loose your current configuration.

ECC/source system: PI_BASIS 2005_1_700 SP 11
Problem exists throughout, both with generic and standard DataSources.
Here is one specific example:
Generic DataSource ZXXXXXXXX
InfoPackage "ZXXXXXXXX(ZXXXXXXXX)" does not run. Error:
DataSource ZXXXXXXXX(SOURCESYS) must be activated
Message no. RSDS179
Then followed these steps:
1. Replicate Metadata from source system
2. Report RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL from SE38 for source system SOURCESYS and DataSource ZXXXXXXXX
Errors returned:
Inconsistent user object ZXXXXXXXX SOURCESYS for PSA /BIC/B000XXXX
Error saving DataSource ZXXXXXXXX SOURCESYS

When I try to choose "Manage" from the context menu for the DataSource, I see an error:

Just to help the folks out here.
In my case,
Inspite of going through several valid NOTES & program, my issue didnt resolve (you reply was pretty accurate - but dint help me :-)).
I have resolved the issue by adjusting the PSA table for the same.
Procedure:
Take the psa name --> go to table rstsods --> find the ODSNAME_TECH name for the relevant psa --> se38 t.code --> enter ODSNAME_TECH and click on 'adjust & activate database table' (make sure you have selected 'save data' radio button.
Just in case anyone who come across this problem, can do the above steps.

I was going to suggest - Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings, but if you are restoring to factory settings, that should restore the settings back to factory defaults. But if you are restoring from a backup, after restoring to factory settings, try resetting all of the settings and see if that fixes it.
It might be something in your backup.

Check that your computer is compatible with Mountain Lion.
To check the model number hold down the option/alt key, go to the Apple menu and select System Information.

Our 2 computers haven't experienced any significant problems, even though others have. I find it much better than 10.7 Lion, which I used for a week before reverting to 10.6.8

Somehow, my IPhone 4s had a software upgrade, and it DELETED contacts. Anyone else have a problem with this???? UGH!

If you were already using iOS 5 where you using the iCloud feature to back up your device? If so, you should be able to retrieve your contacts. If you just upgraded to iOS 5 where you backing up your device on your computer via iTunes? You were advised to complete a backup prior to proceeding with the software update...if you did so then a copy of your back up should be available in iTunes. If you did not do a backup and you were not using iCloud to do backups then you would need re-sync your contacts from another source...did you use a contact manager on your computer (such as Outlook)? Tried ringing apple, who were less than helpful and disinterested as the phone is out of warranty. I am hoping there is a solution which doesnt mean shelling out for a new phone! any ideas?

External monitor problem after Lion upgrade

Hi,
I have a 20" iMac which has a screen resolution of 1680x1050(ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB). I have been using an additional 168x1050 monitor(Dell 2009W) in dual screen mode. This was working fine with Leopard, Snow Leopard, but it does not work after I upgraded to Lion. The screen appears to look fine for a few seconds then blanks out for a second and repeats. The only way I can use my extra monitor is by reducing the resolution to 1360x768.
Does anyone know of a fix or if apple is working on a fix. I called apple support, but all of their suggestion (fix disk permisions, reset PRam) did not help.

Similar problem here with a 15" MacBook Pro purchased in late 2009. Connected to a new Dell ST2210 21.5" display via a DVI cable and Apple's mini display port to single link dvi adapter. The cable is dual link but seems to work fine the majority of the time.
When I wake my mac from sleep 1 time out of 3 I see black and white static on my external screen that only goes away when I unplug the screen or power it up and down.
I've tested another older MacBook Pro with the screen and everything works fine and when I connect with a different dvi cable I get the same issue.
When I called Apple support, they said it was a software issue and directed me to remove some .plist files in my library. I did what they said on the phone and it seemed to work for maybe 6 sleep cycles but the issue came back again. Since then I've reset the VRAM following their directions in a support article on the subject of external display static. (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2377)
Does anyone know of a way to fix this or if Apple is actually listening? VGA works fine but I hate the quality of VGA compared to DVI. Should I look into getting an mini display port to dvi adapter from someone other than Apple?
It's annoying to have purchased a perfectly Mac compatible monitor which you really need, just to discover that Apple is having trouble with their mini display port...
Here's another guy with a similar issue and the same monitor (http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/peripherals/f/3529/t/19330464.aspx#1 9691738). However, from the research I've done, his conclusion about it being the monitor seems to be false, especially with all the complaints here about similar issues regardless of display model.
I need an answer that does not include going back to VGA. What are your suggestions? I do have HDMI but would rather not shell out the money for a cable and adapter...
