Ipad2 keeps scrolling through apps, safari etc and I cant stop it. What do I do?
I have restored it, and its still doing it.
The Restore should have embraced a Reset but try it again [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!

If you restored from a backup, the backup may be corrupted.

I can no longer scroll through app selections in Genius iPad
I can no longer scroll through app selections in Genius on my iPad in the App Store. I see the first row and half of the second row and cannot scroll. This is a new condition. Landscape or portrait is the same.
Just adding my voice as well.
Had this issue for awhile now. Believe it must have surfaced after last iOS update.
Quite annoying since Genius was a good way to quick browse for new app suggestions. -

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. If you did not do step 4 properly, start all over again. -
Whenever I open my music and select a song, my iphone immediately scrolls through other songs rapidly and then I get a pop up saying "the requested url cannot be served" and I can never listen to music

When I try to do the updates my computer says it has ready it goes through like it is downloading them then at the end it says some of the files could not be saved to "/" files.
After your restart your Mac, click the Apple menu (top left in your screen) then click: Software Update ...

Try closing the mail app completely and reboot your iPad. Assuming that you are running iOS 7 .....
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the Mail app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
Hi, my internet sharing was working perfectly in 10.6.8, sharing my vpn connection to my apple tv with no problems. I then upgraded to 10.7 etc and internet sharing stopped. I have since reverted my computer back to 10.6.8 but no luck still, thoughts?
