Sorted by apple support. Thanks. If anyone is looking at this you set the mail account up using the Microsoft exchange option then type m.hotmail.com into the server.

Problem with USB speed

I am new to MSI forum, and have some questions.
I have MSI K9NU Neo-V mainboard and have problem with USB speed . I have all the latest drivers installed and the latest BIOS for my mainboard but still have the problem that mainboard detects all USB devices like USB 1.1

Yes, everything is installed and updated with latest drivers even from nVidia WEB for ULi chipset. the devices that we are talking about are USB removable storage like 8GB USB Flash Drive from Kingmax, 2GB Flash Drive from Xerox, 1 GB USB Flash drive from Kingston, USB case for 2,5" HDD from Spire ... Filter problem with operating system in french

There is a problem with the "Operating System - Windows" filter in the french version of ZCC.
If you create a bundle and go into "Requirements" and add a filter with Operating system and you set it to "Version 6.1 - Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 R2" you get this error
"Vos modifications ne peuvent pas tre appliques pour les raisons suivantes :
ErreurLa version doit tre sous la forme "x" "x.x.x.x". "
"You changes cannot be applied for the following reason : formatting must be x to x.x.x.x"
The format should be "6.1 - Windows 7 /Windows Server 2008 R2 Versions".
The filter does work as intended with the english versions of ZCC. I have no problem with that but some of our admin does.
PS : I am currently unable to open an SR because our licence has not been renewed yet. So i am reporting this here.

In 11.3 the value seems to be:
windows.versions.6.1=Versions 6.1 - Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 R2
But should probably be set to:
windows.versions.6.1=6.1 - Versions Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 R2
And the correct Linux path would be: /opt/novell/zenworks/resources/properties/com/novell/zenworks/core/web/internal/resources/CoreInternal_fr.properties.
This bug would probably take them a minute or two to fix, sad to hear that it's been there since 11.

Get "Waiting for 127.0.0.1..." with some sites. No problem with Opera.

Firefox 3.6.13.
Tried loading www.cortondenham.com and get "Waiting for 127.0.0.1..." and hangs. Same with "talkingvillages.com". Both load OK with Opera. Tried commenting out "127.0.0.1 localhost" from Hosts file, same issue. Tried safe mode, same issue.

I am trying to run JSPs on OAS 4.0.8.1.
I have installed JSP patch, downloaded form olab.com
I am not able to execute JSPs. I am getting 2 different problems.
1. If I call the JSP directly from browser, Netscape will ask for save option, it won't execute.
2. If I call the JSP from another page with submit button, I am getting the following error :
The requested access method is not allowed for that object.
Same error for any JSP.
The same problem for all the samples available with JSP patch.

Nokia 208 problems with Opera Mini

I have a Nokia 208 (Single SIM) and I can not install Opera Mini on him. The application is downloaded but not installed. When I want to install the application, it shows me: "Installing ..." and remains locked so. And after some time it says: "Unable to connect to the internet. Please chech your settings". I tried several versions of Opera Mini and same problem. I downloaded from Nokia Store and m.opera.com site, etc., and the same problem. Other applications on the phone I saw that it works. And I can surf the internet, the problem is only with Opera Mini. Internet provider is Vodafone Romania. So how can I solve this problem? Or Nokia 208 (Single SIM) is not compatible with Opera Mini? We have several reports of this issue. In one case, it was solved by creating the configuration settings manually which made sure both the Access Point and the Web account are configured correctly. Your description only tells us, the Web configuration is OK.
To solve this issue finally, I would like to go this path again first:

Problems with Opera 11.64 after forum downtime

Hi, Does anyone else have problem with the forum and Opera right now? Take a look at the pictures I have attached. It's fine in Internet Explorer. I don't think Opera had any updates lately and the forum was fine yesterday. When I create a new thread it seems that many things are missing, like adding pictures, icons etc. (look at picture 2). I'm not able to add more attachments either, so I have to make a new post with the next picture.
I had to edit the post in order to add more pictures. It also looks like all the line feeds are removed when I post the first time. After edit I can add line feeds.
Where have the colors gone?

Problem with fan speed on FM2-A75-P33

I have a problem with setting a lower cpu fan speed on my motherboard (Win7 64).
It always runs on high speed, and I can not decrease it. When I set values for min speed in ClickBios II (or manually in Bios before booting) to 0%, and desired temperature on some higher amount (60C), nothing happens. It always run on same high rpm, regardless any change of values. What can I do? Same thing with sys fan.
Live Bios says that I have latest version of BIOS and drivers.

That is odd. Only thing I can think of is maybe a conflict in settings between Click Bios and actual BIOS. One of the reasons I never use those programs. I'm not sure what to tell you, except that the fan speed settings on my board have all worked properly using standard BIOS settings.
If I was having issues I'd uninstall click BIOS and see if the issue continues. At least then you would know it's something else.

HP Probook 6540b problem with fan speed and sound card

I have installed Arch 32bit on probook 6540b (it has core i5 processor). Cpufrequtils works well - with governor set on ondemand frequency is adjusting correctly but fun is running max speed all the time. I have tried to configure lm_sensors but it doesn`t detect any sensors. Also fun folder in acpi is empty. It would be great if You could help me.

I have another problem with sound on this laptop. I have IDT 92HD75B3X5 sound chip and snd-hda-intel module loaded for it but it doesn`t make any sound. In Amarok it looks like something is playing because progress bar is moving. I have tried everything from arch wiki and other sources but nothing works. Maybe You can help?

Hi. Yes. I also tried all tricks with model etc. and nothing. Now I have installed oss and have some progress. I have sound on pcm2 when I run osstest, no sound on pcm1 (but it looks in test like it plays something) and input/output errors from pcm3 to pcm7. I have oss output in multimedia in kde and when I run test I can see moving strips or something (I dont know the word for it ) in ossxmix but I hear nothing. I I tried all configurations in ossxmix and nothing.

you can't set opera mobile as default ! With S60 it would work for email attachments but it won't with Symbian^3

Problem with operations on photoshop layers

I have a problem when I try to do some operations on the layouts like resize and rotate.
To reproduce the problem follow these steps.
Create a new creative suit extension project, select adobe Photoshop extended as csaw libraries.
In the testPhotoshop.run function put this code:

A problem with internet speed

Hello!
Basically, as we all know, the internet went down nationally yesterday. However upon coming back online I've noticed my download rate has decreased significantly. I've had this issue a couple of months ago and an engineer came out to my house. He started doing line tests and said that there's nothing significantly wrong with the line and despite me living so far from the exchange (I live on a farm in the middle of no where ) my internet is quite strong.
The engineer did a speed test and indicated that the potential speed is 1.8mb. However, I was getting a significantly lower download speed and he did some tests and concluded that it was something regarding the ip profile setting the speed a lot lower that what's intended, resulting in me getting a low overall download speed. He called up the centre and told them to manually set my IP profile to 1.8mb, and since then I've had about a 1.2mb - 1.5mb speed according the speed tests, which I'm happy about. However since yesterday it's been lowering and lowering since the broadband went down, and I'm worried that I'm going to have to call out the engineer again to fix this problem.

HI Welcome to the forum
You currently have a1.4mb connection and your ip profile should be 1000k currently 750k providing you have no hub restarts or you do not manually restart the hub your profile will rise to 1000k automatically over the next 3/5 days you also have a higher then normal noise margin at 11.7db normal default is 6db again left alone for a few days it should reset if it has not reset by the time 5 days have passed then you will require the forum mods to intervene and carry out a manual reset for now though it is just a matter of waiting

Java problem with opera 9.52 and konqueror-kde4

I cannot get java working neither under opera neither under konqueror.:/
For opera, I followed the instructions from this site: http://www.opera.com/support/search/view/459/ but the problem that each I start opera, java is not enabled.
Under konqueror, I tried to give the right path in the java configuration of the browser but it does not seem to work (and it worked well under kde3, with the same path to java)
Anyone any idea?

True, same here ! I just uninstalled kdemod and went back to firefox and xfce4. This kde 4 is a bucket of s**t. They'd better get their act together if they want to make a difference.
