Ipad2 will not sync?

My ipad2 will not sync with itunes since I download itunes 10.5

This issue now well documented on a number of posts by sodaboy et al.
Open cmd.exe as an administrator.
Type 'netsh winsock reset <enter>'
Reboot
Hopefully problem gone away.

Are you syncing over WiFi or over the USB cable? Try doing the opposite.
Also try a different USB port on the iMac.

Quit Tunes, restart your PC, and restart the iPad and try again. That is the easiest thing to try first. Sometimes it works so it is worth a shot.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I Have just bought an ipad2, I have downloaded the latest version of iTunes but i cannot sync correctly. The music is displayed in light grey font but with no album art and will not play. The photo albums are listed but with no photos inside. Do you have any answers to this? Help please.

Have you selected the content to sync to your iPad in your sync settings in iTunes. The content that you want to transfer must be selected (checked or "ticked") to sync out will not transfer when you sync.
For instance - if you want to sync music....
Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on the albums or playlists that you want to sync - or the entire library if you like.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
This applies to all content that you want to transfer from iTunes to your iPad. Make the selections in the appropriate tabs in the iTunes window on the right.

Ipad2 will not sync since updating to ios7.

I can't get my ipad2 to sync with itunes 11 since updating to ios7. It always gets stuck at "Waiting for changes to be applied." I've tried only syncing a few songs at a time, unchecking, the "sync only checked items" option, and other things I've seen on discussion threads. Now it's cancelling the sync before it finishes. Firstly make sure you have the latest iTunes if that doesnt work try deleted the data of the ipad from itunes so that iTunes will read the ipad from scratch

If so, do the contacts in the Address Book on your Mac match your MobileMe online address book? Need to detemine if the contacts between these two are syncing properly first.

Ipad2 will not sync photos

My ipad 2 was syncing without problems at first, but now it has stopped. I cannot move pics at all. Any help for that?

Try deleting the photo cache from your computer and then re-try the photo sync and see if they then copy over - the location of the cache, and how to delete it, is on this page http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1314

Without knowing anything else other than iTunes or you PC gets confussed, try another USB port on the computer - do not use a hub or the port on the monitor if you use a desktop, quit iTunes, reboot your PC and restart the iPad and then try again.
If that doesn't work - it would really be helpful to have just a little more information - other than the PC gets confussed.

I had done all of that to no avail. I did call Apple Tech Support and after he suggested I try a USB port in the rear of the Win 7 computer, things starting working again. You say your phone will not sync but then you say, "when it does sync."
Does it sync or not? Did you remember to select music to sync onto your phone before clicking on Apply or Sync?
You do have to have iTunes on your computer in order to sync your phone. And your music must be in iTunes.

Ipad2 and Iphone 4 will not sync calendar only contacts

Hello. I have a problem with an ipad2 and iphone 4. The same @me account on both which has been migrated to icloud. I put a contact on either device and almost immediately is in the other one. They are both 3g and they are now on a wifi network. (i am syncing via wifi)
The calendar is the issue. There are many events on both devices -different events- but they will not sync as the contacts do.
any ideas on what I can do? My problem is more than that but i will settle ti fix this one (I also have the original ipad which is not syncing either contacts nor calendar)
Any suggestion on how to have the push/fetch settting?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Also the calendars are the calendar which comes with the ipad, i am not using google calendar or contacts, just plain vanilla what came with the devices, i dont care about itunes sync/pictures/apps, just the calendar and contacts.

Also, I forgot to mention, I stopped the calendar in all devices and rebooted them. I then waited before starting the calendar to see if it would sync but with no success.
I do not know what else to try. I think the push/fetch settings are ok because the contacts sync well and fast. I am out of ideas as to what to do to get the built in calendar to sync.

You can poke around in the settings. There's a lot of stuff defaulted to on that you may not need. Such as notifications. Background app update, background app update. Try turning those off and see if that helps.

some exchange policies require a non proxy or known and secured connection to the exchange server to propagate policy/pw sync. your iphone may have been registered to the exchange server via phone number. connect your ipad to the network at work and sync, or if you have cdma/umts sync over that protocol after you have registered that device with exchange.
you should be able to manually add your device to your profile via outlook webmail under options and mobile devices.
