Ipad4 photo stream issues

Newly activated ipad4 here. All our devices are on ios7..
On the iPad, there is no photo sharing setting under photos&camera. Only photo stream/on off.
All other devices have the option. So, I can't see any shared streams on the iPad
Also not getting al of the most recent 30 photos in "my" photo stream, some pics I take with the iPad are in my stream, some not.
Any help?

  • IPhoto (9.4.2) Photo stream issues

Im having issues with Photo stream on Iphoto
I keep on getting this error message everytime I try to use photo stream within Iphoto
Photos for the iCloud account “<email address>” cannot be accessed. Review your account information in System Preferences.
I've taken a look in the iCloud settings and everything for photo stream is switched on
When I do try and share a photo stream the pictures I add don't appear (album is empty)
The email address I use for the iCloud setup is not an apple one but I dont think this would matter. Was working before I updated to version 9.4.2
Any help would be much appreciated

  • IPhone camera roll to photo stream issue.

I have just taken a number of photos on my iPhone. They are in my camera roll but have not moved to my photo stream, so they won't sync with iPhoto. As far as I am aware everything is set up to sync and I have successfully synced multiple photos before.

This is a common problem with iOS devices &amp; iCloud.
There have been issues with syncing from day one, and Apple still has not got it right.
Why not add a force sync/send to cloud function? That would be a simple solution.
But if Apple added that simple solution, they would in fact be admitting that there's a problem with sync.
Apple does not like to acknowledge problems.
So we are left on our own to come up with a workaround. Here's mine.
Within the Photo app create a new photo stream on iCloud, and set it so you are the only subscriber.
Then when you take a picture you wish to sync across all your iOS devices, simply select it and "share" it with the stream you created.

  • TS3989 Photo Stream issues

I recently received and iPad Air and I only have 98 photos in its Photo Stream, whereas I have over 1000 on both my Mac and my iPhone 5.  What can I do to get the remainder of those Photo Stream photos to download on the iPad Air?

You will have to Pardon my ignorance. I am a relative beginner to this.
The staff member at the genius bar checked my phone and he said the photograph that where on my photo stream prior to doing the restore would automatically upload on to my iPhone when I restore my settings from iCloud. However only 9 photos done this and there other 100 odd photos didn't.
    I am confused!

  • Photo stream issue

How do I access the photos that were sent to my cloud that are no longer available in my photo stream. I don't know where those photos go once I can't see them.  I keep hearing they go to 'my cloud' but I honestly don't know how to get to them once that happens. Please help :/

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately, photos aren't moved from photostream, they are deleted. You might check to see if these photos remain on another device.

  • Aperture and Shared Photo Stream Issue

    Just upgraded to Aperture 3.4
Selected a few photos from my library
    Created a shared photostream
checked the box to create a public website
the site gets created and the URL is visible in that Photo Stream's settings
Safari says that "iCloud can't find that page"
Anyone else having the same problem?
This worked for me yesterday and doesn't today.

    Precisely,
I also, as you did, created photostream and it all worked fine.
As soon as I deleted it and tried to create one again, I ended up with the error.
    Sounds like a bug...

Well it definitely worked the first time I turned PhotoStream on (had never used it before). Created a public stream added images to it and I could get to it.
I then deleted the shared stream created a new one added images and when I tried to view them I got the message you got.
I when back to Aperture preferences turned off PhotoStream entirely, turned it back on and tried again, still no luck.
So this appears be another bump in the recent flood of updates that fell through. Hopefully they'll have it fixed soon.

  • HT4906 Photo stream issue

I can't get Photo stream to work on Lion, which I recently installed.  I follow the instuctions to download, keep getting this message:  "There is a problem with the subscription.  Request to thr server macappstore://showUpdatePage failed."  Any suggestions?

Well given that you're on 10.6, I wouldn't expect it to. You need 10.7.2 and iPhoto 11 for photostream

  • My Photo Stream issue on iPhone 5S

I've enabled My Photo Stream sharing on my iPhone 5S and MacBook Pro, but I'm only seeing seven photos on my iPhone and as a result, my Mac. I have nearly 200.
All my MacOSX & iOS apps are up to date and photo sharing on my Mac & iPhone have been enabled
I've followed the instructions with regards to my Mac & iPhone [I think!], enabled and disabled My Photo Stream, restarted both Mac & iPhone but am still only seeing  seven images.
I am at a loss as to how to make My Photo Stream display all my images. Am I doing something wrong? is there something I've overlooked?
    Help!

but I'm only seeing seven photos on my iPhone and as a result, my Mac. I have nearly 200.
Are your 200 photos in the Camera Roll? Only the Camera Roll will upload automatically to the Photo Stream, and only,
when you are connected to Wi-Fi,
when the Camera app has been closed on the iPhone,
and when the battery of the iPhone is sufficiently charged.
And only the photos you add to the Camera Roll after you enable the My Photo Stream will upload.  Have you checked the preconditions above?

  • IPhoto photo stream issue

iPhoto intermittently fails to upload pics to shared photo streams I create.  The people I invite are able to upload.  iPhoto marks the pics as shared, but they don't show up.  I have restarted computer, etc, with n luck.  Last time this happened it uploaded twice (after a long time) because I tried twice to share.  Any ideas?

    You might try this:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete the contents the following folder:
    User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: For Mavericks, 10.9,  go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.
Next, disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane
and in iPhoto's Photo Stream preference pane.
Reboot and reenable both respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

  • Camera roll / Photo Stream issues

I have an iPhone 4S with iOS 5.1. When I take a picture the picture shows up in the ca,era roll, but not in Photo Stream. I do have iCloud and Photo Stream enabled. I can see older photos in Photo Stream. This used to work before.
Also, is there a way to add photos from your camera roll to Photo Stream?
    Thanks

Have you tried turning Photo Stream off, then back on on your phone?  I don't believe you can add photos to Photo Stream that are already in your Camera Roll.  I believe Photo Stream will only add photos taken after it is enabled on your phone (i.e., new photos).

  • IOS Photo Streaming Issue

I have had photo stream set up between my phone and computer although since updating to the iOS 7 my photos no longer stream to my computer but are located in the album on my phone. Can anyone explain how to fix this?I

    Thanks for the reply Tom
    I'm on 4.4.
Interestingly, whilst leaving it running I just encountered a new problem, the screensaver was running perfectly, it then went over to a black screen with the music still running, hopefully that was a one-off.
I've been pointing Itunes to my 2011, 2010 and 2009 photo directories, one at a time, each has around 1000 photos. The problem was replicated every time, many of the photo's in those directories are 4 MBish JPEGs.
I'm going to point it to my 2005 directory which has 1.5MBish photos taken with my previous digital camera. I'll let you know how I get on.

  • Photo stream issues

I just got a Iphone 4S only some of my photos went to photostream. How do I get all pictures to go to photostream? Is there a way that as soon as you take the picture its moved to photostream? Also the photos in photostream wont import to my computer?

Photos added to your camera roll will be added to your photo stream when you have the camera app closed, you are connected to wifi, and you have at least 20% battery life remaining.  Only photos taken after enabling photo stream are upload, not photo take before enabling photo stream.
If you are trying to import photo stream photos to your computer via USB, you can't.  That only imports camera roll photos.  To import photo stream photos via USB, first save them to your camera roll (tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll).  Otherwise, if your computer meets the minimum system requirements, set up your iCloud account on it and enable photo stream to import the photos from iCloud (see http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/).

  • Further Apple TV / Photo Streaming Issues..?

    Hi Folks
I seem to have had ongoing issues with my Apple TV since the day I got it, but have just kind of soldiered on and ignored them. From a quick perusal of these forums it seems like others have experienced similar problems, but I've yet to find a resolution.
Whilst I can view selected libraries streamed to the Apple TV from my iMac, it's always been hit-and-miss as to whether they will appear as part of the screensaver. On the odd occasion that the DID appear it was almost always as a simple slideshow. Once or twice they appeared as Floating Pictures (which is my preference) but I've never been able to DELIBERATELY set this up; it's always been a fluke and I've never known how I've activated it. Oddly, the Apple TV has never – until now – had a problem with displaying Album Art as Floating Pictures.
However, now I don't seem to be able to view anything as a screensaver apart from the default Apple Photos, and that includes Album Art.
Whilst it's nice to look at random pictures of flowers and the like, it's not really what I want...
I did wonder whether by simply copying the desired photos and/or albums directly to the Apple TV I could get around the problem, but I don't seem to have that option in iTunes, despite what iTunes Help tells me.
I'm beginning to get a bit despondent about this now (although it could be the effects of yesterday's festivities..!) and would really appreciate any help, tips or suggestions.
    Cheers!

The selection for sync/stream library is done in iTunes.
Changing the sync library will delete content already on AppleTV giving a clean slate for a new sync.
You may need to remove the current streaming option in iTunes - right click on AppleTV and choose Turn Off Streaming.
    Now check AppleTV Settings>Computers.
The top entry is usually the sync computer, if greyed out it isn't set up or avaialble.
If the stream iTunes library is still listed highlight it and remove it via AppleTV.
Then go to the top and choose to add the library as a sync library. You'll need to enter a 5 digit code in iTunes again - this library will automatically sync stuff, so you may want to select custom sync to narrow down what you want to copy over.
Stuff not synced will also stream from this library when iTunes is running.
