IPCC Express Subsystem Blank Screen

I am running IPCC Express 5.0(2)SR03_Build317.  When I click on subsystems RmCM, the screen comes up with a white blank screen (on any laptop, server, etc).  This feels like some kind of bug.  To edit RmCm, I have to go through the wizard.  It is very annoying.  Has anyone seen this or know the fix to this error?  Thanks for any information.
Rob Horrigan

Hi Robert,
How many CCM Servers do you have listed in appadmin under the Unified CM Configuration for Unified CM Telephony Subsystem and for RmCm Subsystem for the Selected CTI Manager side?  If you have more than 2 on the Selected CTI Manager side I have seen this (yes it was a defect) to cause the blank screen issue like you are experiencing.  Only 2 is supported.  Anything more than 2 listed there can cause issues.
Please let me know if this was helpful and if it was please rate this highly.  Otherwise let me know what you find.

  • In IPCC express,last 4 month report i;m not getting in historical report. in report it shows blank.

    Hi all,
    we are using IPCC express 5.0 with high availability and call manager 6.0.
    Now i;m facing an issue in historical reports.i'm not getting last 4 month reportin the historical report and the report is blank.
    when i troubleshooted, i checked for filter in scheduler file, logs and i couldn;t find any issues in that.
    i observed in datastore control center, agent, historical, repository status is stopped in publisher and replication status also stopped. i tried to start it but it stopped again.
    as per customer information, also agent phones are communicating with standby server not with publisher for last 4 months.
    so i'suspect it is database replication problem for long time that is why i;m getting the report also for these 4 months.
    please find the attachment for your reference..
    please anybody can help me in this..
    thanks in advance..

    I know this email is confusing and really hard to understand...perhaps now you will know how i've been feeling--lost and confused with all the mis-information, with a hit and miss phone, and out of time with all the 1 1/2 hr to 2 hrs EACH wasted on this issue.
    On top of all this, I can't even find out how to file a complaint with anyone higher up than Customer Service.
    I hate to tell you this, but you didn't write an email. You wrote a discussion post on the Verizon Wireless Community forum which is a public peer to peer forum. Unfortunately since you didn't mark your post as a question, the VZW reps that roam this community won't ever see your post. Before you re-post it, don't. Duplicate posts get removed from the community.
    I see there were several missteps both by the reps and yourself in your post. First you should have insisted on returning the phone within the 14 day return policy period. Second which Samsung Galaxy mini model did you purchase? The S3 mini or the S4 mini? Did you do any research prior to deciding on this device. The reps at that time deflected the easiest course of action, by trying to get you to replace the phone under insurance instead of returning the phone. The Early Edge payment option requires the current phone on the line using the early Edge must be returned to Verizon Wireless. Did you once considered going to a third party site like Swappa to purchase a gently used device for your daughter?

  • CISCO IPCC EXPRESS - E-MAIL SUBSYSTEM PROVISION

    We have read that, to provision the e-mail subsystem in a Cisco IPCC Express environment, we have to complete the following steps.
    1. From the Cisco Unified CCX Administration menu bar, choose Subsystems > eMail. The eMail Configuration web page opens.
    2. Use this web page to specify the following fields:
    - Mail Server: A fully-qualified e-mail server name.
    - eMail Address: An existing fully qualified e-mail address for the administrative account.
    What kind of permissions need the administrative account? Exhange Administratior permissions? Because the customer don't like the idea of giving us a user with the possibility of controlling all the e-mail of his firm.
    Do we really need it???? Thank you very much.

    I typically tell the customer's Exchange team that I need them to accept unauthenticated SMTP transport from the CCX server IP address(es). I believe [read: haven't had to do it myself in a while] there are settings in Exchange 2003 on the virtual SMTP server where it will accept unathenticated mail for it's own domain from. Exchange 2007/2010 is a different animal that I haven't had to do first-hand yet. I have been lazy and just have an Exchange resource call the customer and talk them through it.

  • Blank Screen after factory reset 7911 phone

    Hello guys,
    I had a weird issue on an 7911 ip phone. It was connected to my network and on the display of the phone was saying "ethernet disconnected".
    What i did was a soft and a hard reset using 123456789*0# and then 3497672850*# following the guidelines of a conversation in the forum
    https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2166581
    After the factory reset the device has a blank screen (I left it for more than an hour connected on the network bearing in mind that some processes might be loading in the background and the firmware will load at some point..that didn't happen) and it is unable to receive an ip address ("show ip dhcp bindings", shows nothing related to the mac address of that device).
    To eliminate the possibility that the problem might be on the network card of the phone, i've factory reset a working phone using the above described procedure.
    I had the same problem with that phone too.
    Are there are any log commands that i can use to further investigate my issue?  (I can't see any logs using "terminal monitor"command)
    I am using call manager express 4.3.0 on a cisco 2800 router.

    Dragan,
    I tried what you suggested with no luck.
    What i noted is that, when i plug the power adapter on the phone and connect the ethernet cable on the switch port of the phone (the other end goes to a d-link small switch) the light on the small d-link switch doesn't come up. However if i plug the ethernet cable on the pc port of the phone the light goes green. I checked it with two phones that i've factory reset and it is the same problem.
    What i understood from this, is that the pc is unable to retrieve an ip from the dhcp server and the necessary option 150 to locate the tftp server and retrieve the necessary firmware.
    Gordon, due to the above mentioned problem i can't proceed with wireshark since i don't have network connectivity between the phone and my workstation.
    Guys, do you have any alternatives that i can give a try?
    Thanks a banch!

    Hi s.cheslik,
    It seems your MacBook Pro will not boot properly and it displaying an error message. Based on the information you have provided, it appears your MacBook Pro needs to be serviced. The following link should help you get started with the process and has links with additional information on topics such as warranty and service pricing, battery replacement, and express replacement service.

    Are there any errors being written to the logs like the JVM crashing?  I take it this is the application is in ADF mode and not classic, does it happen with other user accounts, do you get the same issue going directory to planning e.g. http://<planningserver>:8300/HyperionPlanning
    There used to be a problem in the old classic applications where the last page was accessed and it was a large form which caused the JVM to crash, the login issue was resolved by updating table HSP_USER_PREFS and clearing entries in MRU_SCREEN_PROPS then restarting planning.
    Cheers

  • MacBook Pro Blank Screen (Built - in & External) - continued

    This thread is a continuation of [MacBook Pro Blank Screen (Built - in & External)|http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1478474]. The thread was getting too long and some browsers were timing out.
    Thank you,
    Apple Discussions Staff

    I brought mine into the Apple Store last night. I had not left it for service last time as I had not cleared it of some confidential client data. This time, I encountered a much more knowledgeable Genius who seemed to have heard of the Nvidia problem.
    So, my MBPro is on its way to the depot. It will apparently be $310 total, flat fee, supposedly ready within a week.
    I do expect Apple will do the right thing eventually and extend warranties for the defective Nvidia subsystem. However, I can't wait until they do. I need my Macbook Pro to be functional.
    Again, my strong advice...
    *At the first hint you are getting this problem, turn on screen sharing.*
    If you have this specific Nvidia problem, you will still be able to access the machine remotely, which can be incredibly valuable in terms of saving data before you send it for repair. When you hand it over, you will initial a statement saying you have backed up your data and Apple is not responsible if the machine is wiped during repairs. Set up screen sharing so you can operate the machine during the Nvidia failure.

  • [SOLVED] Login Prompt Vs Blank Screen On Startup

    Hello there,
    Problem:
      - When booting into Arch I am either presented with the Login Prompt (Yay!) or a blank back lit screen (Boo!). The pattern is completely random. I can boot up 2-3 times in a row successfully then go on a streak of blank back lit screens and am forced to constantly reboot until I get it to work (see below):
    Boot Attempt => Result after selecting Arch from Grub
    1) Blank screen
    2) Blank
    3) Blank
    4) Login prompt

    Search regarding blank screen turned up this thread, https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=151240 , which seemed relevant. It led to KMS though not sure exactly what that does even after reading the Wiki so I decided to post here rather than tinker with it and risk making things 100x worse than they already are.
    Any idea as to what could be causing my irregular boot behavior?

    cfr wrote:Although that thread seems similar, I'm not sure how this could be the same issue as I thought KMS required a suitable video driver. Still, you could try passing nomodeset on the kernel command line as described in that thread. The worst that will happen is that it won't work. (You can edit the line from the grub menu so if it doesn't work you can just reboot and be back to the same settings you had before.) I guess you'd have to boot a few times to know if it helped.
    Hmm, that seems to have fixed my problem. 9 successful reboots in a row. Figured with my erratic boot behavior as opposed to 100% blank screening that my problem was far worse when in fact the solution seems to have turned out to be quite simple.  Oopsie. My bad guys.
    Followed these steps to make the changes persistent, https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Kernel_parameters , and seems to be holding up well. Will go ahead and marked as Solved and hope no more monitor boot problems arise.
    cfr wrote:So just to clarify: you have not installed any video drivers at this point, correct? And you haven't installed X? You definitely only have one graphics card?
    Nope. Nope. Yep.
    cfr wrote:You can try examining the log files to see what is happening on successful versus unsuccessful boots. journalctl will let you do this and you can filter it with various options.
    Cool, first time I've heard of this and just tested that out. Looks to be a wealth of information. Will have to remember this next time I have boot woes.

  • Popular blank screen

    Hello:
    I'm trying to install in my laptop current version of archlinux (2012.11.01), my laptop has a intel chipset video with currently debian installed.
    When I placed the cd and reboot, and I can see the boot options, when selecting "x86_64" option, I see some loading messages, later my laptop goes black
    I can see my drive still loading and reading the CD, but the screen is black.
    Googling around, I tryed the following kernel params, one by one:
    acpi=off
    noapic
    nolapic
    edd=on
    nodmraid

    and either, dump a "{DRDY} error" or blank screen
    Question: Is there any other param should I tryied?
    Note: I installed debian with netinstall with non-free software included...which the installation was correctly...maybe I need extra firmware?

    I tried the following suggestions:
    gma500_gfx.blacklist=yes
    i915=0
    i915.modeset=1
    and same results
    I can't access anything because all goes to blank, yes, I press all keys
    I'm attaching my current lspci:

  • IPCC Express IllegalAccessException when re-skilling agents

    I have recently adopted an IPCC Express version 4.0(5) system as part of changing jobs. I am finding that supervisors on the system are receiving the following error when trying to re-skill and agent through Subsystems -> RmCm -> Resources:
    Error:IllegalAccessException
    This doesn't always happen. It is intermittent. I went to see the behavior as demonstrated by one of our call center supervisors. I saw her re-skill two agents with no issue and then receive the error several times when trying to re-skill the third. We went to my computer where I tried. The re-skill was successful. We went back to her machine and re-skilled the same agent, and it worked. The IPCC Express (CRS) server is here in the same building that we are in, so it shouldn't be any kind of time-out due to latency.
    I queried the error on the support forums and the Cisco support site and found nothing related to this particular issue. Any thoughts?
    Thanks

    Hi
    This issue might require indepth trace analysis.
    I will request you to open a case with TAC in this regard
    Thank you

  • Kms, ati, compiz = blank screen or segfault on xorg

    Hello.
    I seem to have never ending trouble with this combination of packages.
    I have two kernels installed right now: 2.6.30 and 2.6.31.
    2.6.30 is my main kernel now. I recompiled it and changed some wireless configuration to work with my card. Otherwise stock stuff.
    2.6.31 is pure repository kernel.
    When 2.6.31 came out, I tried using KMS. It worked, but compiz was giving me blank screen. With compiz off I all worked, but performance dropped from 1700 fps to 400 fps in glxgears. I disabled KMS for this reason.
    2.6.30 does not have KMS enabled, worked fine.
    Today I upgraded these packages:
    upgraded libdrm (2.4.16-1 -> 2.4.17-2)
    upgraded libgl (7.6-2 -> 7.6.1-1)
    upgraded ati-dri (7.6-2 -> 7.6.1-1)
    upgraded mesa (7.6-2 -> 7.6.1-1)
    upgraded xf86-video-ati (6.12.99.git20091014-1 -> 6.12.4-2)
    After that, I could not log into my system. I got to GDM, but after entering password, my system froze. I was able to log in via SSH, so just graphics froze. MY search revealed segfault on Xorg.
    With 2.6.31 kernel and KMS off it behaves the same. With KMS on, there is no segfault, but I get blank screen with compiz + performance hit.
    For now I reverted back to previous versions of packages, but I'd like to get this sorted out.

    Here is the dmesg with errors.
    Can someone point me which way to look ?

  • Blank screen on dv6 series!!!!!

    First of all sorry if this topic already exists but I'm not sure if its the same problem. I have a dv6-2105so and dv9091ea. They are both bought in Sweden. They were working properly until a problem occured during turning on. When I try to turn them on they have a blank screen. Its black and there is nothing else. Sometimes an HP logo shows up and dissapears. Several months ago my computer would sometimes shutdown suddenly, usually when CPU usage is high. Dv9091ea didn't shutdown suddenly. Then few weeks later when I turned it on I got a blank screen for the first time. I tryed to turn it on moments later and it turned on normally, without any blank screen. But blank screen continued to occur more often and now I can't turn any of them at all. Thanks ahead.

  • Overview Skills IPCC express v. 8.5

    Hi,
    we are using Cisco IPCC express in version 8.5.
    Is there any possibility to generate a report / have a list of all the users with their different configured skills?
    The only possibility which we found was "Subsystems -> RmCm -> Skills" -> but in this list for the different Skill we only found the user configured for a skill but not with the exact configured skill like 1-10.
    Such a report of all the users with their actual configured skills would be extremly helpful.
    BR
    Michael

    Hi Brian,
    thank you for your answer.
    I just tried this SQL at UCCX server at getting a good output:
    run uccx sql db_cra select s.skillname, rsm.competencelevel, r.resourceLoginID, r.extension, r.resourceFirstName, r.ResourceLastName,t.teamname from skill s inner join resourceskillmapping rsm on s.skillid = rsm.skillid inner join resource r on rsm.resourceskillmapid = r.resourceskillmapid join team t on r.assignedteamid = t.teamid where s.active = 't' and r.active = 't' order by s.skillname, competencelevel, resourceloginid
    I just tried to use this SQL with a perl script which is perfectly working with CUCM to transfer the output into a CSV-file.
    But this perl withc UCCX is not correclty working:
    #!/Program Files/Cisco/perl
    use strict;
    use warnings;
    use SOAP::Lite +trace => 'debug';
    use Data::Dumper;
    use MIME::Base64;
    #define variables
    my $uccxip;
    my $axl_port = "8443";
    my $user;
    my $password;
    my $desc;
    my $error_text;
    my $sql = "db_cra select s.skillname, rsm.competencelevel, r.resourceLoginID, r.extension, r.resourceFirstName, r.resourceFirstName,t.teamname from skill s inner join resourceskillmapping rsm on s.skillid = rsm.skillid inner join resource r on rsm.resourceskillmapid = r.resourceskillmapid join team t on r.assignedteamid = t.teamid where s.active = 't' and r.active = 't' order by s.skillname, competencelevel, resourceloginid";
    #get CUCM IP, username and password
    print "Communications Manager IP: ";
    $uccxip = <>;
    print "AXL Username: ";
    $user = <>;
    chomp($user);
    print "AXL User Password: ";
    $password = <>;
    chomp($password);
    #set up soap
    my $cm = new SOAP::Lite
    encodingStyle => '',
    uri => 'http://www.cisco.com/AXL/API/1.0',
    proxy => "https://$uccxip:$axl_port/axl/" ;
    #disable certificate check
    BEGIN { $ENV{PERL_LWP_SSL_VERIFY_HOSTNAME} = 0 }
    #authenticate to CUCM
    $cm = Login($cm,"$user","$password");
    #axl request
    my $axldata = SOAP::Data->name( "sql" => $sql );
    my $res = $cm->executeSQLQuery( $axldata );
    #show the returned value
    my $file = "UCCX_skills.csv";
    open(FH, "> $file") or die "\nCan`t open the file $file\n";
    unless ($res->fault) {
    my( $reply ) = $res->paramsall();
    $desc = $reply->{row};
    foreach(@$desc) {
    print FH "$_->{skillname}\;";
    print FH "$_->{competencelevel}\;";
    print FH "$_->{resourceLoginID}\;";
    print FH "$_->{extension}\;";
    print FH "$_->{resourceFirstName}\;";
    print FH "$_->{resourceFirstName}\;";
    print FH "$_->{teamname}\;";
    close(FH);
    else
    $error_text = $res->faultcode.' '.$res->faultstring."\n";
    print $error_text
    sub Login
    $cm->transport->http_request->header (
    'Authorization' => 'Basic ' . encode_base64("$user:$password", ''));
    return $cm;
    Do you know such perl and why it`s not working correcly with UCCX?
    Or is there any other possibilty to get the SQL into a CSV-file?

  • New Install - startx results in blank screen with mouse cursor

    I installed Arch on my desktop last week with no issues, so I wanted to install it on an old THinkpad R31. Everything with the installation went smooth, but when I try to 'startx' all I get is a blank screen with a mouse cursor that I can move around. I've installed xorg-xinit, xorg-twm, xorg-xclock, and xterm.
    I'm not getting any significant errors in the logs, or even the terminal I issue 'startx' in.
    I'm not sure what the problem could be...
    Here is my output from 'startx'

    To run twm, you need to install xorg-twm from [extra] (I am not sure if it installs by default). Do you have xterm installed?
    According to his first post he has both xorg-twm and xterm installed.
    I do indeed.
    I went ahead and installed LXDE anyways, just to see what would happen. Exact same thing, it looks like everything is about to load but only the mouse cursor shows up. My Xorg.0.log is the same, so I won't post it again.
    I do get an error in the console about the openbox menu.xml file missing but I doubt that's related.

    Sorry this may have been asked a million times but i have a 23" cinema HD display and i'm try to connect it to a laptop PC with the convertor to vga and no matter what i try it has a blank screen with the white power light. I have tried to change the res to the lowest it doesn't work what am i doing wrong please help!!

    You can't use a simple VGA to DVI adapter, since VGA doesn't have the digital video signals needed by Apple displays. You need a VGA to DVI converter, such as
