Iphone 3G 8GB resets when syncing, unable to restore/backup
ive recently updated to OS 3.1.3 and ever since am unable to sync my phone to my pc, im on windows 7 havent had a problem until i updated iphon software. does anyone have any suggestions?! am unable to use my phone and getting pretty desperate !

I don't have an iphone, but if it's anything like my click-wheel ipod, a reset doesn't delete anything.
It just resets the ipod's operating system, kind of like a PC restart. Did you try this Sleep/Wake button thing mentioned here?

Maybe it's a podcast of voice memo causing the problem like it did for this person

That's all I got. You might have better luck on an iPhone forum. Everyone there would probably have one. Like I said, I don't.

spinwheel when syncing, unable to sync photos, error message "the disk cannot be read from or written to" ... please help!
Everytime I try to sync my photos to iPad or my iPhone. The sync freezes for a whilie then comes back with "the disk cannot be read from or written to". I have already exported photo library from iPhoto and readded the photos.

Unable to restore backup after updating iphone 4, because "not enough free space"
I updated my iphone 4 to v7 via itunes (v12), and in doing so, my camera roll was erased as were most of my calendar events. I am trying to restore the backup that I created just before updating, but I get an error message in itunes that says "itunes could not restore the iphone" because "not enough free space". There is 2.5gb free on my iphone, and I created the backup just before updating so there should be plenty of room. Does anyone know how to get the iphone to restore and/or how to put my pics & calendar back? itunes hangs up at the end while syncing too...

Apple has shutdown MobileMe. You have to switch over to iCloud.

IPhone loses play counts when syncing with iTunes
I would like to repeat the question from this thread, which has mistakenly been marked "answered".
When syncing with iTunes, not all play counts are transferred into iTunes. When I turn the iPhone off, it even forgets the complete list of played songs (it is even deleted from iTunes itself).I have similar problem. Played podcasts becomes UNPLAYED after synch with iTune.

Iphones will sync with one and only one computer at a time. Sycning to anohter computer will indeed erase the current content from your iphone.

Iphone 4s getting stuck when syncing...

I think I've located the problem (at least in my case). I use a ringtone program called iToner 2 and that is what's apparently causing a conflict and syncing issues with my iPhone. I installed my ringtones from iToner 2 and the sync issues re-occurred. After deleting my iToner 2 ringtones, I was able to sync again.
My guess is that some application that you are using that works in some way with iTunes or your iPhone is what's causing the sync issues. I would suggest finding that particular application and not using it until it gets updated to work with iTunes 10.5 and iOS5.

E72 Hard Reset - unable to restore backup
Due to some trouble with the camera getting the focus right, and general low performance of my e72, i had to perform a hard reset on the device (german fw v. 53.x.1).
I made 3 backups of all date via Ovi Suite 3.1 before. After the reset, the device runs fine again but I am unable to restore all data. In fact,
- Messages (SMS)
- phone settings
- applications
- calendar/notes (which is synced by outlook, so not a problem)
are missing! When I only restore the messages, I receive an error from OVI. It runs fine with Nokia PC Suite Content Copier (it says 100%), but the messages are still not restored.
In Content Copier, I don't even see a check box for applications and phone settings! Has it been disabled for e72 devices?
I have done the procedure on an old e71 and n82 befor and it just ran very well, everything was restored. Why does the e72 make such trouble? Is there a possibility to recover things another way out of the *.nbu file??Okay, this Prog helps-a-lot:

IPhone 3GS stuck in recovery mode unable to restore
Hello,
My iPhone 3GS was running low in battery and then it went off on its own. Plugged into car charger, usually I would see the charging sign but curiously not this time. Unable to turn on the phone, it's all black. Got home and plug into the computer and it said that it's in recovery mode and it needed to be restored. Attempted to restore but kept on getting unable to restore due to error (21). Did a quick search and have done the followings; (updated all softwares, turned off computer, check USB wire, turned off firewall, created new user, used a different computer....) still unable to restore. screen would turn to white blank screen. Called Apple Support and they had me tried everything again and still nothing. Please help...took it to Apple Store and they gave me a new one..
