IPhone 3G and applications?
I bought an app yesterday on iTunes and then synced my phone. It put the app on the phone as it should. Today, the phone showed that I had an app that needed updating. It was the same app that I bought yesterday, which did not need an update, but the red 1 beside the App Store was there and I had to sync the phone again to make it go away. There was nothing copied on the sync but the 1 went away. What's up with that?
Lately, the App store has been putting old updates in the Update section. I've seen it several times myself. Just ignore them, they should go away. You can use the search function on the right to see other threads about this.

As someone who has installed many 3rd party applications (via Installer.app), I can say that it is hit or miss with different apps. There are some applications that are constantly upgraded for bug fixes and other issues, while some apps are still on the first version there were released on.
If you're comfortable with it, just try installing some of the apps and see which ones work for you. If an app freezes, unfreezing is just a 8 second press of the home button away. -
I used to have an application in my iPhone 4 and 4s that captures business card and creates its content to my contacts. Its no longer working with my i5. Can you recommend me a new apps for this same function

good night recently my iphone 4s was exchanged for a new one because was defective and was in warranty. the problem is that now I try to use the same apple id on itunes and applications while had bought the old iphone does not appear and I think should appear. Can someone help?

i have two iphone one is iphone 5 and othere is iphone 4 . can i use same id for both ? And do i have to purchase the application again for iphone 4 which i have buyed for iphone 5.??
You can use the same Apple ID for both phones, you would then be able to use the purchased Apps/Content on both phones without having to pay again.

My husband and I share one computer. We want to be able to share the same music on our iPhones, but we don't want to share the same contacts and applications. How can I set this up so we still share music, but everything else is separate on our iPhones?

iTunes and iCloud are different accounts. You can both use the same ID for the store login and share your music etc., and use different ID's to log in to iCloud, thereby keeping your calendars etc separate. -

I accidentally deleted an Application on my iphone 5 and with it lost important files. How do i get back these files. The last iphone backup sync was after this so I cant even access an older back up as I cannot find them. How do I get back my Lost files.
On your iMac launch iTunes and at the top next to the Apple symbol click iTunes > Preferences > Devices and tell me what you see. You last sync should be there showing only a device name. If you have an older backup it will be there as well the difference is it will be the device name with a date and time stamp. Sync and backups are two different things and there is a chance iTunes made a backup the first time you hooked up your iPhone 5.

I recently purchased the newest nano. I have 3 other nano's and iPad iPhone, oh and iPod touch. When I plug in nano to my mac I get the message "iPod cannot update because it contains files that are used by another application. How can manage this?

It means that nano was used on a third-party software or synced from different computer to sync music. Does that nano show in iTunes? If yes, then restore completely. If not, then you may need to head to Apple Store and see what they can do. -

I have an Iphone 5 and used to download applications from the Apple store but now i couldn't download any thing although it seems that it trying to download and gives " waiting Icon " and nothing happened although there is about 9.4 Gb available space

The answer is very simple: You were not the original owner of the phone. Target sold you a phone that had been returned. You can verify the date of the original sale here: Apple - Support - Check Your Service and Support Coverage. I suspect you will find that the warranty expiration date is not one year from the date that you bought it.

You're gonna have to figure out a way to call AppleCare...there is no AppleCare where you live...somewhere, & ask to talk to "Account Security". Here's a list of worldwide support numbers:

Keep-cursor-position crashes runtime
