IPhone 3G Beeping at Random – About 2 to five times per Day
Sort of like a very high pitched sped-up sonar-type sound—exactly five beeps in quick succession—that fades off. Unlike any sound I've heard or can access on the phone itself. It is not an email, not a text, there are no visible alerts of any kind on screen. Could it be a certain app? An inherent issue with iPhone software? It's definitely an annoyance because it vibrates as well and will do it at any time of the day i.e. in the middle of the night.
Turn off Notifications in Settings. If that fixes it you have some app that is using notifications with that sound.

My MacPro 1.1 Keeps Crashing about 4-5 times a day
Can anyone give me an idea what to do.
My Mac Pro 1.1 12GB Ram connected to a 30 Cinema Dislpay keeps crashing about 4-5 times a day. I have a ATY, Radeon X1900 graphics card.
Not sure what to do?Normally I would say get rid of the X1900 if you plan to continue to use it.
You have been cleaning it every 3-4 months, as those cards are terrible on dust and heat.
Also get down to one good set of RAM or just pick up a 4GB kit 2x2 $25 from Amazon.
While at it, can't hurt and definitely a big plus to go with 250GB $139 Samsung EVO SSD.
Got a good older clone? should. Every freeze and crash is likely contributing to more corruption of ifles and directory making it worse. So good idea to start with new RAM, newly formatted drive, clean install of system. -
Help! I guess I can restore it to original factory settings but I am afraid of losing everything. If it helps the iPad is NOT jailbroken. Any ideas or do I have to wait for a future update?
Just to clarify. Once I am done with the iPad and push the sleep button (upper right corner) or just let it sleep from inactivity for a couple minutes, the issue happens when I try to wake it up. I can see the unlock screen with the pin pad but the iPad becomes unresponsive and I cannot enter the numbers or I can enter the numbers but it freezes right after that while the pin pad is still visible. The only thing that fixes it is to hold the home and sleep button for 10-15 seconds and wait a minute for the whole thing to reboot. At that point it usually works. Still, what I liked about the iPad was the convenience of being immediately ready and now I have to reboot many times per day.
I have an iPad2 with the latest update (6.01) and it is not jail broken. Apple help me please! -

Need to reset my DLink 2750B about 3-4 times a day.
Well, It has been a few months since I posted about the same problem here. About 3-4 times a day (almost always when I am online), I lose my internet connection in the entire house. All I have to do is unplug the modem, wait 15 seconds, plug it back in, and everything is fine. A few hours later, rinse and repeat. I have called Verizon several times about this issue. The last time, I wasted about 2 hours of my evening. One of the "customer service" reps had me repeat all of the test that I had already done myself, only to arrive at the same result. She transferred me to "tech support", and I spent an hour on the phone with someone else, repeating the same tests over again. Guess what - same result. I was told that a Supervisor would call me within 2 hours. Clearly, this was just to get me off the phone, because nobody called. Now, here we are, 5 months later, and the same modem, same problem. No way I am wasting another 2 or 3 hours repeating the same steps all over again, I will just end up going off on some rep who really doesn't belong in that position. I just thought I would post another example of the "fine" customer support we have all come to expect from Verizon. I will now go on eBay, to see if I can find another Verizon modem for sale, because Verizon won't even let me purchase a better modem. Good luck with your concerns, I hope you have better luck than I did.
Not sure if you will see this, but it's somewhat refreshing to see that others are having similar issues and that it's not just me. My Dlink 2750B needs a reboot every couple days so I guess I should count my blessings...
I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with support doing the same tests as have been done multiple times on my line, (no issues found) and finally convinced them that I was having a modem issue, not a DSL issue.
My modem would keep the internet light on solid green even if I unplugged the DSL line. all my devices would be locked out (no connection) and when attempting to connect, the device would bounce between "authenticating" and "obtaining IP" until it finally failed.
Received a new Actiontec from verizon (free) to replace the Dlink. This morning, sure as can be, the modem locked us out.
As I stood in front of it thinking "yay.... this crap again" ready to install the Actiontec, it rebooted on it's own. Connections are good, speed is good.... ~sigh~
I would like to know what you mean by "signal is better" with the Actiontec. Do you mean more range or faster speeds when comparing to the 2750? -
Just started getting about 300-400 emails per day from several fraudulent Addresses to my icloud email and am not sure how to stop receiving them, or create a rule to have them all go to Junk. When unsub, I get more. Emails from my contacts are now Junk?! How do I fix this? I have over 800 emails since 5Am YESTERDAY!
First, don't unsubscribe. This only tells the spammer that your email address is valid and they will send even more.
If this is only being sent from a few specific email addresses, you can set up a rules on icloud.com similar to the image below to send them to the trash. This describes how to set up a rule: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mm6b1a3f8a. -
My iPhone 4 crashes very often (3-4 times per day) and sometimes (2-3 times per month) all my apps disappear and I have to restore them with iTunes. I downloaded all the system updatings and I also tried to restore my device, but I still have this issue
If you haven't already, try restoring your iPhone as a new device, not from a backup, and with only the apps Apple includes. Then see if the problems persist. It's possible that a corrupted file on the iPhone is causing the problems, and that could perhaps be coming back onto the iPhone if you're restoring using a backup. Problems with an app could also be causing problems. If the problems persist after restoring the iPhone as "new", then you almost certainly have a defective iPhone and will need to contact Apple for servicing.
If the problems go away after restoring the iPhone as "new", then you can start putting your other apps back on and see if the problems reappear; if they do, you probably have a badly-coded app.

Several times a day I get "Unresponsive Script" popups as I browse the internet. They're almost always different. Sometimes its in tabbrowser, sometimes it has something to do with a YouTube page I have open, and sometimes it occurs when I try to save a file with the built-in download manager.
I don't know why it does this so often. I don't have many Addons.
I also copied the technical information about my browser to help out if it can identify why these Unresponsive Script Errors keep appearing.Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).<br />
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]<br />
<br />
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.<br />
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.<br />
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")<br /> -

2 - 3 times per day my iPhone 3Gs changes time by itself.
The phone is set to automatic time update. The time is correct when I turn it on, but later it changes by about 15 minutes. I have to reboot the phone and the time is correct. The phone is NOT jailbroken, and this has only happened since i had a new battery installed.

When I leave my computer on after I leave work, firefox is guaranteed to be crashed by the morning.
Already this morning it has crashed twice. This has been going on for a while.Unfortunately the linked crash reports have an [@ EMPTY] signature or are not available, so there is no data available that would make it possible to tell something about the cause of the crash.
Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
