Iphone 3g Cracks and Apple will not replace!!!???

I bought my Iphone 3g white the 15 September, last friday the 23 October I noticed some little cracks, just the beginning of the Apple cracks story...
Friday 12 o'clock I look on the inernet and start posting on some sites
17 o'clock I went to the local Apple store, the third employee noticed the cracks, but they do nothing, I must contact contact the operator.
Saterday 24October after had some explanations on different forums, I call the Iphone Support for Belgium. They couldn't help me and connected me to the Apple EU call center in France,
The apple employee asked about repairing Italian Iphones(yes it's an italian),
She came back with "NO problem, we won't repair it, we will replace it and your iphone will go to our engineers. Ups will come after 48hours and you will have the new one in 5days.
Sunday, Monday,...Wednesday, No ups, I look on the support link and noticed "replacement suspended", so I called again the Support. 3o minutes to find the problem...
Apple: Your Iphone was bought in Italy and is simlock, we can't repair it...
Me : Yes it's italian, but apple won't repair it because the cracks, normally I will have a new one, and italian iphones are without Simlock just like in Belgium
Appleotheremployee: Your Iphone is italian, so Apple IT will replace it but you must be domiciliated in Italy, otherwise UPS can't come...
SO IPHONE 3G with gps is not for travelling people, you can do it all with it but onl @ HOME!
Apple Has an international support, what is the problem to give the order to UPS international and replace that Iphone, It will be a lot easier but no, NO REPLACEMENT!
If Apple has such a Support strategy......they will just like WINDOWS VISTA!

Apple products have international service, with the exception of the iphone.
It is, in most countries restricted to the country in which the iphone is sold.
Your situation is certainly a very unpleasant one, but this is the way the warranty on iphone works.

    I have an iPhone 4s, that I bought around a month ago. It is under warranty. I have been having issues with the phone since the day I received it in the mail. One being that I get dial tones and/or other static-y noises at the beginning of all outgoing and incoming calls, usually for about 2-3 seconds. The phone also randomly dies, even if it has 15, 20 sometimes even 30 percent battery left. The biggest issue I've ran into is the front screen of the phone popping off. Not completely, but enough to notice. The way I can tell when it happens is because the home button will feel weird, like majorly indented and then light can be seen coming out through the side of the phone. The problem is that each time this happens the screen would get little crack-looking disturbances or just discolored all over, and then tonight it popped out AGAIN while I was talking to my mom and then screen went black and the phone just started making a weird bonging sound over and over. For lack of a better term, I'm ******.
    The phone itself is perfect. No scratches, no dents, nothing. It's always been in a case.
    My husband is adamant that I'm wasting my time because Apple will not replace an LCD screen, but obviously the phone has had issues since I received it and it's not anything that I did! I spoke to a very nice representative who made an appointment at the Apple Store to have it checked out. Has anyone had any luck with getting something like this taken care of under warranty?     The AppleTV update was not mandatory. It is not applied automatically, and will continue to function without an update. Others have reported successfully exchanging updated AppleTVs for models with earlier versions of the OS when there was a problem with the update.
    Anybody whose equipment does not match Apple's specifications (e.g. those with TVs that do not have built-in HDMI ports, or that cannot accept a 720p signal) should be very wary of installing any updates. As these are not supported displays, Apple is unlikely to test updates on them, and it is possible that an update will cause loss of function. It would be wise to wait to hear from others with similar TVs before you decide whether to apply an update. This also means that if you own an unsupported TV, it is possible that you will not be able to get access to future updates that include features that you would like to have.
    Frankly, if you have an unsupported TV and are dead-set against replacing it, you probably should consider returning or selling your AppleTV and buy a product, such as the Roku box, that supports your type of TV.

  • Apple will not replace my battery

    I just got off the phone with apple support and they are telling me that they will not replace my battery. i have only 147 cycles on it and it will go from 100% charged to dead in 2 mins or so. the thing is. i can have 100% and then unplug it and it will turn off shortly after but when i plug it back in and boot it back up it says my battery is at like 96%. why does it shut off at 96% and refuse to turn back on. I dont understand. Apple will not replace this battery because its not in the recall and and not in anomaly category. So honestly what do they think im trying to pull here.

    yeah thats what im saying my battery does fit this criteria, on the site they specify no model numbers nor do they say what serial numbers are subject to replacement, implying any battery that has X symptoms is eligible for replacement. ya know ? The site says:
    Battery exhibits low charge capacity/runtime when using a fully charged battery with a battery cycle count (as shown in System Profiler) of less than 300.
    And thats exactly what my battery is doing. I guess if i go to the nearest apple store and have a apple genius look at this and agree with me they will go around the warrantee and get me a new battery anyway. thing is, the nearest apple store is like 5 hrs away and ugh.... ya know ?

  • IPad is tethered to iPhone.  Internet and mail will not open

    My iPad is successfully tethered to my iPhone.  I have been reading mail and surfing the internet on the tethered iPad for weeks.  Nothing has changed about my Verizon coverage.  Suddenly the Internet and mail will not open on the iPad.

    Try resetting the iPad's network.  Go to Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings.  You will need to reconnect the iPad's WiFi.

  • Iphone 6 apps and internet will not work

    Hello, I have had my iphone 6 for a few days now and just yesterday it died completely.  This morning I charged it up and when I went to use I had an extremely slow connection on Safari, but everyone of my other apps will not function.  Including those apps that do not even require an internet connection.  I have reset the phone a few times but to no avail.  It keeps asking me for my Apple ID and password which I have entered everytime but have no luck.  Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?  I am also current with the most previous update.

    Do a hard reset
    Settings / general / Reset /  Reset All Settings
    Now setup your Yahoo mail.

    1. Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM and SMC. Doesn't usually 'cure' keyboard problems you report, but it costs nothing and only takes a few minutes.

    2. Try plugging in a USB keyboard. Doesn't absolutely have to be a Mac keyboard. A PC keyboard will work for a test. If the typing problem does not occur with the USB keyboard, you have a temporary solution until you can arrange to visit a repair facility.
    3. If your MacBook is older and has a user-removable battery, shut down the computer, remove the battery, and examine it for signs of 'bulging' or swelling. Then connect the computer to the Magsafe power supply, without reinstalling the battery, and turn it back on. If the keyboard problem has gone away, it was likely caused by a swelling battery.

    My company have several iPhones which are setup through the same iTunes account but when you connect them to the pc it will not sync. I need to update them and load the latest software as they are still running on very old software. Help would be much appreciated!

    Is this the computer to which they normally sync?  If not... save yourself some hassle.
    iDevices are designed to sync to only one computer/library.  Attempts to sync to another computer/library will wipe all content.  Upgrading the device requires a backup prior to the update which will remove all content if this is not the computer they normally sync with.

  • IPhone 6 iMessage and FaceTime will not connect.

    I just upgraded to the iPhone 6 from a 5 and now I can't use iMessage or FaceTime.  I checked all of the troubleshooting tips and actually went through all just to make sure it's not something I'm doing.  I still get a connection error on iMessage when I try to connect using my Apple ID and password.  The message I get is "Could Not Sign In.  Please check your network connection and try again".  This continues to happen for many hours.  I reset the network connection, made sure my phone number was in the right place on the phone, checked my credit card on the Apple ID, etc.  Nothing works.  Any help out there?

    I have the same problem with my iPhone 6. It seems that my wifi connection will go down after using iMessage, Facetime or other apps. However if I go to settings to check my wifi connection, it shows connection, but there is no internet connection. I have tested my wifi connection with other devices, and they are running perfectly.
    I think there is still a bug in the iOS 8.0.2 concerning the WiFi.

  • Iphone is frozen and itunes will not recognize the iphone for a restore

    my facebook app was giving me problems while trying to update my status, so I decided to delete the app and try to re-install it. after deleting the app, the phone froze. I decided to do a soft reset, and the phone will initially boot up only to the apple image on the screen and them immediately shut back off. I've tried to do multiple other soft restarts, but it won't get past the apple logo on the screen before shutting completely off again.
    the phone is out of warranty and I was told by the support line that I need to do a backup restore, but now my itunes won't even recognize the iphone to give me the option to do a restore from backup.

    Unfortunately it never gave me the option to restore from backup. only to do a complete restore to factory. I reconnected the phone to the computer and in the process of doing another restore. this time it actually showed the progress on the iphone screen as opposed to the first run only showing the apple logo on the screen.
