IPhone 3G is not connecting to my home wi-fi network

I just got the latest iPhone 3G, able to connect to my home wi-fi network without issues. I just reset the network connections(from iphone settings) by mistake and from then onwards I couldnt able to connect to my home wi-fi. What should I do? Please Dont tell me that I forgot my wi-fi password, I connected my laptop and sending this post.

What happens when the iPhone attempts to join the Wi-Fi network? Does it get an IP address?
What type of wireless security are you using on the Wi-Fi network?
How many characters are in the password?
If you using WEP you'll want to use a 5 character key for 40 bit WEP, or a 13 character key for 128 bit WEP.

If you can see your home WiFi network inside Settings>WiFi, then press the blue arrow to the right of it, and on the next sreen press "Forget this network".
Now go back so that you see your network again, then press on it and you should be prompted for the password.

Try resetting your network settings. Go to General\Reset\Reset Netork Settings. Sometimes this will fix things. If not, what type of router do you have, what network are you running (B, G, N, etc.).,

Thank you, I've tried the support tips (resetting the network, checking security settings, etc.) and rebooting the network devices several times to no avail. I've actually been working on this for several days (when I can afford to have the network down).
What I have to determine is what has changed in the setup...from when it WAS working just fine with all devices.

My iPad will not connect to my home wifi network? I tried turning off wifi on the iPad, & turning off the device itself. I also tried turning off my router. Today I tried re-setting wifi on the General section of Settings. Nothing seems to work.
This occurred on Sat. when I was trying to download books from a public library. I lost the wifi connection, & it would never join the network again, so I told the device to Forget this Network.
I have another iPad2 which connects to my wifi just fine. The iPad that doesn't connect, does connect fine to other networks.

Have you tried a Reset of Network Settings on the Device...

Have you reset the phone by holding the home and off button down until the apple symbol comes up? Then if that doesnt work, you need to restore your phone in itunes first from your backup, then if still not, then fron as new.

You're talking about connecting to your home router? If so, try rebooting the router by unplugging it for 30 seconds.

My Ipad is not connecting to my wi-fi network. I have never had this problem up until today. Has anybody else had this issue?

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

It's strange that your iphone connects to wifi at office but not at home. I experienced this wifi problem twice. The first time was when i upgraded to ios 6 and the second was when I replaced my iphone 5. At any rate, try this:
1. Turn airplane mode on (this is important).
2. Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
You will need to type in your wifi password. Hope this works for you!

My iPhone 4 connects without issue, however my wife's new iPhone 5 just searches and cannot locate the wifi to connect to.

Make sure you update the iPhone 5 to iOS 6.0.1 which just came out yesterday. It addresses problemsn with WiFi connections, especially if you are using encrypted WPA2 networks.
Also, check if your router manufacturer has a firmware update, especially if you have an older router that hasn't been updated in a long while.

My iphone 5 will not connect to my home wifi or Bluetooth after I completed the iOS 7.1.1 update. Before the update I was able to connect to my home network with no issues. Now it rarely finds my home network (unless I'm right in front of the router and even still the signal is weak) and when it does find my home wifi network it frequently disconnects from it. I followed previous suggestions to turn off router or forget network settings and re-establish them but it continues to happen.
This also happening with my Bluetooth connection. My iphone 5 would automatically connect to my home phone Bluetooth prior to the iOS 7.1.1 update. But now my device no longer connects, which means my home phone no longer rings when my cell phone is ringing.
I probably would be less worries if I did not have to monitor my data usage with Verizon. However, I do have a limited amount of data to use and I recently reached the max and had to pay extra money due to my wifi being unable to connect. Can anyone please help me with fixing this?

If you have Applecare take it back to the shop and demand a replacement. If not you're stuffed. It's a bug that they've put in the software to get you to buy another iphone. You can maybe warm it up with an hairdryer near the speaker and then turn it off and put it in the freezer for 10 mins then retstart it and wi-fi is there. It could also be a problem with the chip, if you do the freezer thing it comes back.
Apple knows its a problem as there are millions of people out there that it is happening to, in my opinion get shut and get a Samsung!!!! That's what i've done and love my new Samsung S3 Mini miles better than the iphone!!!!

Someone needs to put this in the media so they will actually do something the robbing bleeders!!!!!
Also whatever you put on these discussions will get it wiped if Apple don't like what you put!!!!
