IPhone 3G music won't play, please help

I just got my iPhone 3G and I moved all my music from my ld iPhone onto my new iPhone (did a restore). Now, most of my music will not play on my new iPhone.
It tries to play, but just skips right to the next song, tries to play that then skips and again and again.
I can get some songs to play partly, some to play all and some don't play at all.
All of these songs worked fine on my first gen iPhone, they work fine in iTunes on my Windows PC and they work fine on my 5th Gen iPod (Classic).
Any ideas? I've tried rebooting numerous times, I have EQ turns off, I tried turning off sound check. Nothing has worked.
I guess I can try another restore. That is about the only thing I have not tried.

Ok, looks like I fixed it by removing all my music and replacing it.

First of all, I apologize for my mistakes in English.
I need some help. I can not transfer music to iphone 5.
I bought the new iphone 5 and have it active on icloud. I did not choose as a new iphone. Then I wanted to take the music, but it seems to be taking during synchronization (bottom color bars) after becoming firstly thrown.
I transfered ipad via itunes but I can not transfer it to iPhone. Under the iphone device icon in the left menu , all songs seems to be inactive.
(Pieces of music icons on the left of the circular seems to be incomplete and not listened , but the ipad seems to be a full-circle icon at the bottom, and all of them listened to the music folder)
I've tried everything but it did not. I wonder if there is something wrong like not allowed to be two of the same device to the same music? I do not understand. Ring tones, etc. photos ,everything OK. but the music.
I would like to help those information.

Thanks to LarryHN and Old Toad, my problems are nearly over, I hope.
I did the repair and, thankfully, my missing photos are back.
However, I now have about 100 photos which are on my iPhone 4s camera roll and when I plug the phone in, it says that it has already imported them, but I can't find them in iPhoto!
I can see the pictures on the mac when the phone is plugged in and I look on the iphone, but I cant see where they are.
Do you think that having photostream has complicated matters at all?
Also, why does the photo stream on my phone (and ipad) show more photos than the photostream folder fir Nov 2013 in iphoto? Is there a delay in appearing in iphoto?
Finally, about 3 out of 5 times, iphoto becomes really slow and stops responding, requiring a force quit. Any ideas why this is and how to fix it?

I bought music on my ipod, then backed up my ipod on my computer and now my music won't play. Help?

I bought several new songs, then went to my laptop to back it up. I unplugged my ipod only to find out that my new music does not work nor any old songs which I've had on my laptop that I've recently added to my ipod. This is extremely frustrating. The format from the phone is :
h.264 encoded video, AAC audio. Both standards of MPEG 4.
You need Windows Media Player version 12 or above to play MP4 (or add the codecs to your current version).

1, you can't at the moment, though with iOS 5 in the Autumn, from http://www.apple.com/ios/ios5/features.html#photos :

2, by removing it from you synced from and re-syncing. Only photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad (either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view)
3, the location of the photos that you synced to the iPad should be listed on the iPad's Photos tab when connected to your computer's iTunes.
4, you can copy the photos from your iPad to your computer : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 . You should also be able to delete them from the iPad as part of the transfer process to your computer, and it's then your choice whether to add them to your sync photo list so as to copy them back to the iPad. Copying them to your computer would allow you to organise them into folders and therefore be able to sync them back into separate albums.
5, I don't use Dropbox either. There are some third-party browser apps in the iTunes App Store that allow you to download pages so that you can view them when offline e.g. Atomic Web (the whole page is saved within Atomic Web, it doesn't place a photo into the Photos app)
6, deleting content should help. If you remove an app from your iPad then you also remove the content that it's got on the iPad - so if you then decide to reinstall it back onto the iPad then you will need to manually add back any content that you want in it. None of the Apple built-in apps (including Photos) can be removed from the iPad

HT1386 Some of my music won't play on my iPhone

Shortly after upgrading to the latest OS (7.0.2), I've noticed some of my music won't play on my iPhone. I can see the songs but they have a red circle with a square inside it next to them and I can't do anything with them. I have plenty of space and there's not "downloading from the iCloud" option.
Problem 2...some other people are having this problem and recommend wiping the music off my phone and re-syncing via iTunes but when I plug my phone in (or sync via wi-fi, either one) to sync, it hangs up on "waiting for changes to apply" and never wipes the music. I've looked around at other complaints about this issue and none of the recommended "fixes" work.
I assume this is going to require an OS patch of some sort. What's the ETA on this and is there a way to get around it now?

iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.

Have you checked if your Earphones are working?
Do you get the Music menu after the reset? (what is display on the Screen? song playing)
Normally if you Reset the iPod, it will turn the shuffle mode off, but do check under setting that shuffle mode is off.

Randomly my ipod music won't play music. When the song is clicked on it goes to the song and album artwork but then doesn't play and flashes back to the playlist screen. Also, it shuts down a lot and I have to restart it to turn it back on. I reauthorized my computer but my music won't play.

I didn't realize the prior computer--long since traded in towards a new one, the laptop I'm currently using--hadn't been deauthorized. I did that and then reauthorized current one but my music won't play. I checked my account and it has been updated and confirms the new laptop is authorized now. What gives?

Hello, I too had this same problem. I was very lazy about going through EACH song trying to select & fish for it in a folder (I have a lot of folders total of 1,979 songs). I called Apple & they told me to go to my iTunes go to FILE scroll down then ADD FOLDER.. Since everything was just out of place & didn't know where to even begin I basically deleted ALL songs from my LIBRARY & then added each folder. It literally took me less than 20 minutes. Dont worry if you have your songs labeled a certain way (Artist, name of song, genre in iTunes) everything will go back to normal. Hope this helps as it helped me! I put it aside for 2-3 years! Good luck!
