IPhone 3G replaced Treo 755p

I have been watching this forum ever since the iPhone 3G became available. I just wanted to post my story on why I chose the iPhone 3G.
I am in IT, a Database Administrator and Designer. I bought my first smartphone, a Treo 700p in 2004, in the quest for mobility, tethering, better e-mail accessibility and the internet in my hand. The main goal was to find a way cut the shackles to my desk and to carry less crap throughout the day. My computer bag is upwards of 35 lbs.
After having the Treo 700p, then upgrading to a 755p, I have been quite happy with Treos to this point. Unfortunately the Palms are being discontinued, putting me in the market for a new smartphone of sorts.
I checked out the original iPhone a year ago and loved how user friendly it was, but is still lacked a few things I needed. When I saw the next generation 3G offering a few of the capabilities my Treo had I was very interested.
Knowing the iPhone 3G was not a true smartphone, but its pretty darn close to one. I ordered my 3G a week after the initial wave started and was put on a Customer Fulfillment waiting list. I then learned so many people were having issues with the iPhone 3G, I cancelled my order and decided to wait. I saw some of the issues people were complaining about in the display units. Once the 2.0.1 update was released, I noticed the performance was a little better.
Last Friday, the 2.1 release was out and I heard it took care of many of the issues people were having. The display units in the store were performing better also. Still annoyed I couldn't tether the 3G to my laptop directly of via bluetooth, the strong internet capabilities were enough to offset how often I needed to tether.
Its been 6 days, and I have put it through the ringer and have been very surprised with how well its performed. Getting it home I had to do a hard reboot, then do a full restore which loaded the new 2.1 software. In order to maximize my battery life, train the battery and the power management software, I made sure I ran the battery all the way down right out of the box. I then let it charge overnight and day 2 i ran it all the way down again, charged it overnight again. Battery life sucked for the first day, but got better each day of the week. I met a guy that also had a 3G who gave me a few tips to save battery life.
First he suggested turning Wi-Fi off if its not needed, Second turn off the GPS locator, and third turn off push and set fetch for 1 hour.
Well, I left 3G on (I'm paying for 3G and I'm going to use it), turned off Wi-Fi and use it only when I surf the net in a Wi-Fi hot spot, turned off the GPS Locator, this is a feature I will least likely use, and I left Push "on" on 2 e-mail accounts, because its necessary. In this configuration, I now get a full days use out of it with moderate talk time without any problem. I charge it in the morning, then when I go to bed. If there are days where I will be on it more, I will charge it at my desk or in the car, which is no more than I used to do with the Treos.
Now in comparing where I get a signal to the Treo is interesting. The Treo rarely let me down and usually had a signal when no one else had one. Everywhere so far, I have been able to get a signal in the same areas as I did on the Treo. I buddy of mine who lives out in the wooooods and normally can't call out on any cell phone, he was able to reach me from the deep woods Sunday on his new 3G.
I use my 3G to access my web based database applications, which was my original intent on getting the 3G. I can now update , query and edit information in my database, standing in a mechanical room directly from the iPhone. I can then send a report or an email if necessary, then get a response as I'm walking back to my office. Its just super slick. I'm also designing some SDK applications to run my stuff on the iPhone.
With the 2.1 update, exchange and e-mail push, multiple calendar management, contact list sorting, smooth backup with Mobile Me, exceptional web capabilities and the best user interface out, it outshines my Treo 755p. Mariner Software is coming out with something that will allow reading, creation and editing of Excel and Word documents. That will be the last of what I will need to make it a true hand held computer. The Treo did allow me to read and edit, but I couldn't create.
In summary, I am happy with the new iPhone 3G and it is making my work day a heck of a lot more efficient. It does 95% of what I need it to do. The iPhone 3G frees me up from carrying my laptop all day.
I would gladly give up some slimness for a bigger battery. Sorry Apple, the Treo's camera took much better pictures. The 3G camera should be much better for a multimedia device of this caliber.
In my opinion, battery life is not as bad as an equally used smartphone. The iPhone does a lot, as with any smartphone you have to manage what you are using vs. what you really need at times to maximize battery life. Although the 3G is not a smartphone, it's more of a Mac Ultralight than it is a simple phone or plain iPod. BTW the keyboard does get easier to use over time.
Sincerely,
Dave

The retail sales price for a new iPhone 3G has not changed (and the first generation iPhone is no longer sold by Apple), so an exchange under warranty has no affect on the original retail sales price for the iPhone, or the perceived or real value when selling an iPhone used to someone else - the price someone else is willing to pay for a used iPhone.

  • Re-installing all data to a replacement Treo 755P

Before I do my first hot sync with my replacement treo I assume I should customize the hot sync operation by changing all the catagories to desk top over writes hand held? Any suggestions will be appreciated

before you that, please make sure that you know what application you set to manage your data. is it with microsoft outlook or palm desktop. doing that is necessary because each palm OS device have an assigned name when syncing so that it will know where the data should go when doing the synchronization.
here are the steps that can guide you in restoring your data back to the replacement treo 755p:
    checking the replacement phone:
    1. be sure that the phone is fully charged
    2. check the hotsync icon in the phone if there is a username assigned. if there is you need to perform a hard reset to the phone. if there is none, proceed to the next step.
checking the type of application you set for the PC:
    1. right click on the hotsync manager icon in the system tray
    2. if you are using the 6.2 version of palm desktop
        a. click settings
        b. click user accounts (you can see what username is assigned to the phone)
        c. if the username is not there, click new and assign a username
        d. click application then check show details, this way you will know the settings of each
applications. that's where you can set to desktop overwrites the handheld by clicking
configure button after highlighting the application. also check beside datebook,
datebook, to do list and memo pad if there is the word outlook enclosed in parenthesis.
that will give you an idea that you are set to outlook  not with the palm desktop.
        e. click connections and make sure that it's only the USB is checked.
if you are using the older version of palm desktop
        a. click custom, it will reveal the conduits in the hotsync manager
        b. check the 4 main applications if there is the word outlook enclosed in parenthesis.
that will give you an idea that you are set to outlook  not with the palm desktop.
        c. highlight a conduit and click change, that will give you the ability to change the action
           desktop overwrites the handheld etc.
        d. after seeing all settings are set, click ok
    3. you may now proceed to do a hotsync.

  • My Treo 755p needs to be replaced

I just love my Treo 755p because it syncs effortlessly to my Mac OS 10.4.  Time now to buy a new phone.  Can I put my old calendar, contact, and memo entries from the 755p to a new palm phone?  Anyone give me advice as to which phone to purchase that will allow me to continue syncing to the Mac?  I am so disappointed Palm dropped the treo line, but maybe you have a way for me to buy another Palm?

In the issue of time what wold likely happen is Apple will sell you a new computer, a Thunderbolt to Firewire adapter and/or tell you to go home and do it yourself via Wifi (slow) or Firewire Target Disk Mode (fast)
    https://support.apple.com/kb/ht1661
If you have a recent TimeMachine backup or bootable clone of the 2008 machine you can just buy the new Mac and walk out the door fast, as you just use Setup Assistant when you boot the new machine to transfer everything over.

  • Can't activate Sprint Treo 755p

I purchased a couple of months old Treo 755p from a person who switched over to Iphone. Prior to activation I downloaded and installed the newest software upgrade, and I noticed that several keys do something else what they supposed to.
The option key brings up the Keyguard locking buttons, the shift key brings up the Messages screen the Alt key also brings up the Messages screen. The space bar does nothing, and the 0 key also does nothing, and this is my biggest problem, because in order to activate my phone, I need to input my Phone number, which contains three zeros. I am stuck. My old phone was deactivated, and the new one I can't activate. Is there any chance that some key functions have been altered by the software upgrade? If indeed that's the case can I revert to the previous software version, and how?
Please someone help me, I am in the pickle here.

  • I am having trouble with Treo 755p and Sync in my new Mercury car.

I just got a Treo 755p.  I can connect and get the phone and Sync to communicate.  As soon as I make a call however, the sync system hangs up after one ring.  I had to replace my Treo 650p which worked well with this car.  Do I have a setting wrong in my phone.  Suggestions?

The jquery is there to animate the marquee, so even without the JS file the div container should still be showing up right? Part of the video tutorial said to switch to "live view" to make sure one of the div containers was positioning correctly, and when I do this nothing happens. It works for the guy on the tutorial so I am not sure what I am doing differently. Since it is not working at this point I have not added the jQuery, should I just assume it is a JQuery problem and continue on? I just don't understand why it is showing up in design view but just a blank white page in live view.

  • Treo 755p (sprint) shuts down while it is charging over night

My Treo 755p seems to be shutting down or going into some sort of sleep mode over night when I plug it in to charge.  Every morning when I wake up I have to hit the home button to get it to "wake-up" and you can tell by the clock that is freezes around 2 o'clock every morning and its basically like the device is turned off from then on.  I use my phone as my alarm clock so this is a huge problem!  It seems like when it is frozen like this, the device thinks it is was what ever time it was when it shut down, so if it freezes at 2, my alarm doesn't go off at 6.  I've checked through the preferences and don't see anything that deals with this.  Any thoughts?
Post relates to: Treo 755p (Sprint)

This feature sets the device to go off after a certain amount of time of inactivity. In your case, it is set to go off after it is not being used for 1 minute.
In order to determine if the problem is in your device or in the software that was installed, you will need to perform a hard reset. What you should do is sync your palm first so all your info is backed up on your computer and then perform a hard reset. Then, if you still have this problem after the hard reset is performed, the device itself is defective and needs to be replaced. If this problem doesn't come up anymore, you can reinstall the programs again (or sync your treo to the computer to get all the info back again) and then see if this problem comes up again. If it starts shutting down again in middle of the night, you will need to determine which program is causing this problem.
Let us start with step one. Did you sync this device to your computer yet? If not, sync it.
Then perform a hard reset. Do you know how to do that or do you need instructions?

  • Sprint Palm Treo 755p Network Connection Inconsistent

I've had a Sprint Palm Treo 755p for almost 2 years now, and multiple times a week during this time the connectivity ceases and I have to power down the phone connection and restart it to make a call. This is the 3rd device Sprint has replaced for me and I'm finished talking with them. They acknowledge that this is a chronic problem with this device and don't have a solution to recommend. It is updated. I use the default applications, with only text readers as the extra 3rd party applications. My fidelity to the Palm product is waining thin since it seems that this problem is unresolvable.
Question: Is it too much to expect that the phone will work consistently when in a strong network area? I've seen other users' posts about this but have yet to find a solution. Any help will be appreciated.
(The phone will show bars/connectivity status when it won't dial out nor receive calls. I'm not in non-network areas when this occurs.)
    Thank you!
Post relates to: Treo 755p (Sprint)

Hi..  Welcome to the Palm forums.  If you have had 3 device replacements and the same problem repeats itself, unable to connect to the sprint network, what is the common factor here?  As you stated in the subject "Sprint Palm Treo 755p Network Connection Inconsistent".  It is highly unlikely that this is a hardware issue for your 755p.  The one consistent factor is the Sprint network and your provisioning on that network which has all the settings and information that allows your account to connect to it.  What needs to happen here is you need to talk to Sprint, have them totally remove your provisioning setup on their network and then rebuild it from scratch.  All your 755p does is receive what it is given by the network and it connects with the instructions in that provisioning.
The only other possibility, did you have a older device before th 755p?  If so and you synced to the same user name its possible some internal settings got synced into the 755 that are causing problems due to compatibility issues. When you have done a hard reset did you sync immediately?  If so you need to sync to backup data then hard reset, go to (for palm desktop 4.?) c:\program files\palm (or palmone)\your user name folder and right click on the backup folder and rename it backupold.  (if palm desktop 6.2) Go to c:\my documents\palm os desktop\user name folder and rename backup folder. Befor you do sync use the device for awhile to test and see if the same problem happens.  If not then sync.  You will not have any of the stored settings or 3rd party sw, they will have to be installed manually.  Once you sync do not install any of the 3rd party sw for atlease a day and test.  If no problems go to that backupold folder and find the .prc file and double click on it to put it in the installer and sync.  Only install one at a time and test till you sure all is fine before reinstalling another and continue to test till you find a file that may be causing problems.

  • Windows SBS 2008 and Treo 755P

Has anyone had any success getting a Treo 755P (Sprint) to sync with a mailbox on a Windows SBS 2008 server ??  The device will sync with a Windows 2003 64bit and Exchange 2007 server but will not with a SBS 2008 server.  I have talked to both Sprint and Palm and they weren't much help other than to tell me it was a server issue.  I am getting the following errors:
    AirSAMStateMachine .c1913 4628
    AirSAMStateMachine .c1913 3
Sometimes I get one error and sometimes I get the other but the 4628 is the most common.  I have done a hard reset on the phone as well as tried it with multiple accounts with no success.  I have iPhones, Blackberries and a Treo 855W working fine with the server, I just can't get this phone to work ...  I also have a purchased cert. on the server from Verisign, but tried it both with and without SSL and neither works.
    Anybody with any suggestions ??
    Thanks,

Oh, good.  You're almost there then.  Does this problem affect other handhelds too?  Palm/Versamail or WinMo?  If you need additional testers, I can simulate one and connect with a test account.
Is the problem still occurring after a hard reset too?  Is it limited to EAS when set to "as items arrive" or does it hang no matter what time increment is chosen?
Was the Sprint Treo 755p 1.07 update already applied?
Once EAS is connected to a good Exchange server, it usually works well.  For kicks, did you delete and recreate the ActiveSync virtual folder on the server?  Are there any hints to the hanging/freezing in the IIS logs?
Hopefully, the real prob will turn up and let him get this working 100%

You can try a hard reset to bring the device back to factory defaults, and then test for same issue without hotsyncing. If the problem reoccurs then there is a hardware issue with the device, and it will need a repair / replacement. If the hard reset resolves this problem then there is a software issue. All data on the device will be lost with a hard reset and the device needs to be backed up first. Follow theses steps to perform a hard reset:
    You may need to hard reset your device and rename your backup folder. Go to http://www.palm.com/cgi-bin/cso_kbURL.cgi?ID=887 and follow the directions to do a hard reset. Next before you hotsync your data back over you will need to rename your backup folder, to do that go here;
    XP
C:\program files\palm or palm one\[hotsync username]\ and rename your backup
    folder to backup.old
    Vista
Start-->documents\Palm OS Desktop\[hotsync username]\ and rename your backup
    folder to backup.old
Then hotsync to your current hotsync name and all your contacts, calendar,
tasks, and memos will come back over.
Show file extensions for XP or Vista
    XP
If you can not view file extensions on your PC I would like you to open a
folder go to Tools-->Folder Options--> View (tab) and under show hidden
files and folders uncheck hide file extensions for known file types.
    Vista
Open control Panel go to Folder Options--> View (tab) and under show hidden
files and folders uncheck hide file extensions for known file types.

  • Treo 755P from TELUS freezes and/or reboots when using bluetooth headset

My treo 755P has worked fine for almost a year. I recently purchased a Motorola H870 headset.  Since then the phone freezes up and/or reboots several times a day. Sometimes when I am dialing and sometimes apparently randomly.  I have worked with my provider, TELUS, but have no resolution. I am using the latest Palm desktop software and I have tried a hard reset on the phone.  Any other ideas??
    Thanks.

Post relates to: Treo 755p (Sprint)

Hi..  Welcome to the Palm forums.  Lets put things in order here:
1- got 755p and worked fine for almost a year
2- purchased Motorola H870 and 755p starts freezing.
Bottom line here is that you 755p worked find until the H870 was introduced.  This headset is not on Palms bluetooth compatibility list.  For the list see this link:   http://kb.palm.com/SRVS/nua/launchKB.asp?c=44829 .
I would recommend that you do a hard reset and do not sync or use the H870 for atleast 24hrs.  If the 755p works fine that will confirm the H870 is the problem.  If your still having the problem then you will need to look at a repair/replacment.

  • How can I get my data back after a family member hacked into my iphone and replaced my data

A family member hacked into my iPhone and replaced my data with his own data. I am afraid to plug it into iTunes for fear of overwriting my backup. iCloud probably already overwrote. Can I restore the phone without synching first, and then use Time Machine to get back to an earlier backup and re-synch?

Over two years and no spsonse to this? will there be any point me asking the same?

  • Hot Synch does not work, Treo 755p, USB, 17" Mac Pro Laptop, even with RevD installed and Allow other HotSynch applications preference check box checked

    Hi,
I am a long time Palm enthusiast who is frustrated.  No more Palm products for me or anyone I speak to until I solve this problem.  Someone at Palm should be paying attention to their long time cusotmers.  I bought Palms in 2002 and 2003.
The support literature coming with two Treo 755p that I bought was so poor that never saw the fine print that there was three months of support if I registered the devices.  The registration page does not let me register.  All the fields are ghosted after I put in the serial number.  I bought one in June 2008 and the other in early 2008.  So never registered and can get no help from Palm now it seems.
So beside that gripe below is the problem issue info.
I can't get a Verizon Treo 755p to USB cable Hot Synch with my daughters 17" Mac Pro Laptop.  It is using OS 10.5x  She lives in another city so I am trouble shooting this remotely.
Did - Revd Palm upgrage has been installed.

Did in advanced settings on the Treo select in the Synch preferences allow other Hot Sync applications.
That process worked however on my own Treo 755p Verizon as below:
After much work, hours over several months, I got my my Treo 755p Verizon to Hot Synch with a QuickSilver desk top Mac running os 10.5x.
    Did the RevD upgrade.
Did in advanced settings on the Treo select in the Synch preferences allow other Hot Sync applications.   Otherwise the Wireless Synch feature prevents a Hot Synch.
Once those both were done than Hot Synch works fine, and Wireless Synch works fine and does not interfere.
The Wireless on both PDAs is scheduled to be removed on both Treos due the economy on Feb. 4th, so I would like the HotSynch to be working so her Treo is backed up.
Thanks so much to anyone who replies to help out.

My iPhone 5 dies at 20-24% it doesn't go all the way to 0%. Will apple replace my phone or fix my phone for free since its hardware problem and I have no money. This is my second iphone 5 replacement. I have no apple care so I'm worried. My phone has NEVER touched water! I only get 1/5 of battery use. I've also spent 30$ at the apple store on screen protectors for nothing! I really don't have 220$ nor 50$ I am on a strict budget. I believe I have to pay 220 not 50 ford a phone replacement for accidental damage. I don't know what category this falls under. I really need a new phone or battery. HELP! Will I have to pay? Also my screen lighting is all topsy-tervy every I put my screen on highest it won't work I have to wait about a minute? Forgot to mention that my apps exit out by themselves all the time when Im using them.

So, have you tried a reset?  Restore from backup? Restore as new?  You seem to have a few problems but do not mention any action taken to resolve them.  What have screen protectors to do with anything?

  • Open Letter to Palm Regarding the Palm Treo 755p

    Dear Palm,
As a devoted Palm user for the past 15+ years, I have been praising the versatility, convenience and user friendly Palm hardware/software to my colleagues and family for as many years. As a result many have purchased Palm products and have come to rely upon them as much as I do.
Recently I finally gave in and took the leap to consolidate my multiple media devices (laptop: email, phone: calls, Palm TX:notes, passwords, video, books, spreadsheets, contacts, calendar, etc.) into one unit with the Palm Treo 755p. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISAPOINTED IN A PALM PRODUCT! After transferring all of my info from my TX to my 755p, and activating the phone itself, I began the process of setting up my VersaMail account to enable me to sync my work email through the Exchange ActiveSync program. In typical Palm fashion, it was fairly easy to set up once I had obtained the necessary info from my IT department and I was soon getting my email in the Palm of my hand (pun intended). All was well! Or so it seemed...
Shortly after getting everything set up, I contacted my Dr. to set up an appointment later this month, and, in typical fashion, I opened my Palm Desktop Manager to update my calendar with the appointment so I could sync it up with my Palm during the next HotSync. After performing the HotSync, I realized that not only did the appointment NOT transfer from the Palm Desktop, ALL of my personal contacts and calendar events had been forced into my work email account!! I immediately became alarmed because I do not want my personal life (i.e. Dr. appointments, church activities, etc.) advertised to those whom I have granted rights to work on my work email account when requested to do so. I immediately sought out help from the Palm.com help forums and found that MANY people were experiencing the same problem. I performed all of the tricks that I could find (erasing everything, reloading software, hard resets, etc.) but no luck; I could not keep my personal information (contacts & calendar) in Palm Desktop and use my VersaMail for just that - MAIL. After researching further, I found that when using either the Exchange ActiveSync setup or the GetGood program, that the user is forced to surrender all options related to how the calendar and contacts are handled - DESPITE the options built into the program that indicate otherwise. I have since removed all email synchronization accounts from my 755p and have been attempting to re-establish the ability to successfully HotSync my calendar and contact information with the Palm Desktop Manager. I am also working with my IT department to see about the possibility of establishing a POP3 account for my work email - which in my opinion is a completely inferior option; in addition to being most likely unavailable despite the fact that many in the company of 60,000 employees are now facing the same problem with their own Palm Treo devices
    - I now have a phone/PDA that does not do what it was advertised to do.
    - I have lost my confidence and faith in Palm (this did not come lightly; I have been attempting to work through this issue for the past two weeks in all of my spare time).
    - I am still unable to successfully HotSync my contact/calendar info with the Palm Desktop Manager (despite hard reset on the phone & no associated email accounts on the phone) & it does not indicate why (it does not revert to "do nothing" in the manager as it did previously).
    - I have no way to check my work email account remotely.
    - Unfortunately because of schedule limitations I do not have the time to sit on the phone with Palm Tech Support, I have been completely unsuccessful in launching the technical support chat program, and I have been unable to find any type of email address where I could express my concerns in a more professional manner, rather than airing this over a worldwide forum.
Does anyone have any advice, knowledge, fixes, hacks, etc. that can help? I really don't want to lose the investment (time and financial) I made in this upgrade, and I REALLY do NOT want to move over to the dark side (Blackberry).
Most of all, and scoff/call me old fashioned all you want, I do not want to give up on Palm. I still feel that they are a good company that cares about their customers and provides (for the most part) a quality product and I would prefer to give them the brand loyalty I have for the past years, and hopefully many to come.
This is my first time using this venue to communicate with Palm, I have selected to be notified if there is a reply to this message as I prefer not to leave my personal contact information in this open forum. I am looking forward to hearing from you [Palm] to see what can be done to address my concerns.
    Sincerely,
    Chad B.
Post relates to: Treo 755p (Sprint)

    Ridius,
Success! Wow, what an endeavor! I had already tried using the HotSync troubleshooting before I turned to the forums so as I expected, I was unable to find a resolution there. Here's what I did next:
    • Before using the Registry Fix utility, I exported all of my "good" files (memos, contacts, calendar, tasks) from my TX. I then wiped everything from the Treo 755p through another hard reset.
    • Downloaded the Registry Fix utility, erased all existing profiles on my computer, re-downloaded the Palm Desktop Manager v6.2.2 and installed it over all existing Palm software on the computer
    • Performed an initial HotSync and then tested each feature (contacts, memos, calendar, tasks) one at a time with a HotSync in between each one. Success!
    • I then went through and instead of loading the profile from my TX, I obtained the most up to date software versions of the most often used additional programs and loaded each one, one by one & performing a successful HotSync each time before moving on to the next.:
    o MegaLauncher v6.44
o Agendus for Palm OS Standard Edition v12.04
    o Documents To Go v8.002
    o CacheMate v4.1.2
o A new-to-me program called Passwords Plus v1.006 since my old "Secret" program was obsolete and I could not find an updated version.
o MiniTones 0.1b (for Palm OS)- just found this a few days ago and it is the greatest for using MP3's on your SD card for ringers, plus its free!
o I was unable to find an updated version of Big Clock and I refrained from loading the previous versions after reading that it has been known to cause crashes on newer Palm OS. (darn! The price was right; free, and it was an excellent program too!)
So far I have been able to perform successful HotSync’s every time with only one consistent error each time (even before the additional programs were loaded):
"Backed up some files successfully to Treo 755p's Backup folder
    •Duration: 7.6 seconds
    •Failed to backup 1 file(s)
    •PmTraceDatabase
•Protocol Error: Handheld file could not be opened. (4004)
    •SYNCERR_FILE_NOT_OPEN"
    Any ideas here?
I have not yet attempted to do anything with my work computer yet, it will take a while to get the IT department to update Palm Desktop Manager to v6.2.2 on the company servers and I feel this was one of many critical updates leading to the fix that ultimately resolved my problem.
All in all, this experience & working with you has renewed much of my faith in Palm – I am only hoping that I can find similar success with the one issue that started all of this (i.e. upgrade to a all-in-one device, time/financial investment, 2+ weeks of troubleshooting & wasted effort, etc.); the need to keep my personal calendar/contact info OUT of my company email/files, while at the same time having the ability to use the Exchange ActiveSync program to view my work email only. Most likely this will require a lot more finger crossing and outcry from the public. For the sake of myself, the many other users of the Palm Treo 755p within my company of 60,000 and those going through the same issue all over the world, I hope that the wait is not too long.
Most of all, I want to thank you for your assistance, kindness, and dedication to providing exceptional service to me and the thousands of others that you have helped directly & indirectly through this and other threads. Whether or not you are able to help me with resolving the last HotSync issue listed above or not, you have been nothing short of amazing and will have my continued vote of confidence in your abilities. I can only hope that those current leaders within the Palm organization will take the time to review this and so many other threads that you have participated in to see what a quality employee you are, so that your talents can be put to use in leading others to follow in your footsteps.
    Sincerely,
    Chad B.
